Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I purchased my car wash at the pump when I filled up my car with gas, but the receipt never printed out, so I had to go into the store to get my receipt. Ugh. When I drove up to the car wash, I realized I could have just paid right there with a credit card. No need to get gas if you just want a car wash. Also, you still have to put your credit card in the gas pump - unless you have the Chevron app. I never like to put my credit card in gas pumps, but I had no other choice. Get with the times - Apple pay should always be an option.
