It might look tiny, but don't misjudge the coffee and other drinks they are making here! I actually went back after my first order to try another beverage, it was that good. I started with a Fall-flavored 'refresher,' though I can't honestly remember the name. But, it was amazing! I was down the strip a few shops for an event, so I popped back to The Big Bean before they closed for their "Not Ready for Winter" coffee concoction. Another winner! I also picked up a couple of biscotti for later. When we did finally get around to trying them, they were incredible! Very hard and crunchy as a biscotti should be, and perfect for soaking up some coffee for dunking. And the flavors are perfect. Other people were ordering their breakfast sandwiches, which honestly looked and smelled incredible... I just didn't have room for food that day. Or, I would have totally ordered one just based off of others' orders alone! The real five-star facet here, though, was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful, despite how busy they were. They still found time for friendly and cheerful banter while ringing everyone up. I don't think team members get enough credit when they go above and beyond, but please take the time to tip or at least acknowledge the fantastic folks here! Overall, it's a wonderful coffee shop that I wish were closer to home! And... had more parking! The space and seating inside is limited, so it definitely seems more of a to-go than sit-down place. The staff was nothing but kind and worked very hard to keep the line moving as they were SO busy! They were giving away complimentary pastries ("mini" versions of what they'll sell regularly!) and gelato scoops as part of their first day, so I snagged an espresso scone, a slice of Cinnamon Toast Crunch banana bread, and a scoop of pumpkin cheesecake gelato. All three were SO yummy. I especially loved the gelato, which was super creamy, smooth, and pumpkin-y. I got to try a few samples of other flavors, and they were great too. I also got a pumpkin oatmilk latte to go with my pastries. I returned the next morning to see how the experience would be on a more "normal" day. I got a pumpkin oatmilk latte again, but asked for extra syrup as the first one I had wasn't quite as sweet as I would like. The woman working made my drink with one extra pump, and gave me the option to add another if it still wasn't sweet enough. I did end up needing another one, and I really appreciated that I was able to do so. I also got a full-sized espresso scone. These ones had crunchy sugar on top, which was a nice touch. They small batch roast the coffee each week, and chatting with George the roaster, it only lasts in store about 7-14 days. So you know you're getting some truly fresh coffee. The smells are intoxicating, they always have a sample available too. Gotta check out the peanut butter. All three were fabulous. Grab a team member and get a sample. Many bulk food items including baking goods, spices, nuts, oils, vinegars and more. Definitely worth a quick trip to see them if you're a fan of Sprouts. Better bulk at reasonable prices.

There were a few students working on laptops and reading, so it felt like a good spot to hang out for a bit. I was a little disappointed they didn't have cold brew, which is usually my go-to. Ended up getting the lavender latte instead, and it was actually really good.
