Once I was settled into my room and my work was done for the day I needed to head out and grab some snacks and drinks for my room. 7-Eleven wasn't my intended destination, but I did end up getting more from here than I expected to be able to grab elsewhere. This is possibly one of the nicest 7-Eleven stores I have been to in my life. It was clean, it was organized, and it was stocked. Something that I am not accustomed to. Even though they are well stocked, it doesn't mean the selection is vast. It is somewhat limited to certain brands and of the items they do have you don't get to choose a better one because of that. I feel like that might because of the size of the store as it was not a traditional store set up. That's probably the biggest drawback of this location. The size is limited because it is located on street level of a newer building. Street level is a bit of a stretch as the entrance is on the side street and down a small hill. Through the many years when you remember the hot days that were the days that you would walk down to the corner store and get cold sodas with some of the best cold Ice Cream. The many times you would get the best snacks and the best candy bars that would go great with Ice Cream mixture and combine with soft serve Ice Cream. The many memories of the 711s that would be open 24hours and the many times you would have the crowded mornings. Through the many years that the 711 stor5e4s have been the many places that many times you would see the sheriffs and the many other officers that would come and get coffee in the morning the early mornings the great many things you get at 711s. The many great people that you would see in the morning the many shipments and the distributors that would bring in the many products to the morning. The many times that you would see the many companies that would deliver products and the many food products that would be from the Hot Pizzas and the many great deli sandwiches that are the best and the best in Hot Dogs. With the many great 711s the one location that is in the Little Italy area has been that has been the best in cleanliness and the size of the store is small size with the well done in outside design and the stonework that gives a great atmosphere inside and out, the many products that have they have a great welcome to the housing nearby and the offices close by. Many areas in the Little Italy area are that of restaurants and the gourmet foods that you can pick up and take home. The Store location has some of the best products that you can get such as the Slurpee's and the Monster Drinks with many combos you see at the many. The best location for when you have a great 711 store that you can go to at night and get the milk you need, or you may have to get meat products. One of the greatest things that the 711 stores have the best morning doughnuts and the many great coffees when you have those that bring in their own coffee mugs and get the favorite morning coffees. With the great location that is just a short walk from the Trolley Station with the number 83 bus connection which is located close by the store. In closing as a Yelp Elite Reviewer this is one of the best and the closest location when you take a trip up into the Little Italy area with the short walk to India Street with the Historical area there is much to see and have cold drinks when you stop in at the 711 store up from the trolley. read more

This is my go to go spot for quick drinks, snacks and pizza! It is located on Kettner BLVD off Cedar in Little Italy, San Diego. The Store isn't as big as the normal size 7-Eleven's but still does justice! The store has everything you could need for a quick fix and the fast food they offer is a steal!. They sell large pizzas cooked to order and in ready in just 3 minutes or you could always get a slice or 2. They have hotdogs, taquitos, and even jumbo size hotdogs as well. They have a full service fountain drink bar as well with the famous ice cold slurpies! I usually come in here to order a hot fresh pizza to go and grab some milk for the kids. Do you know of a product "Andy Capps Hot Fries?" I was told about this ridiculously good snack by an individual who can be best described as someone your mother always warned you about. You know the type, always knows the best snacks and easily leads you down the path of temptation... This location was listed on the website to have this delicious snack in stock and it let me down. It also let me down because they only had small bags of xXXTRA Flamin' Hot chips... however they were redeemed a bit for being open during the Covid lockdown and having king sized Reese's. All of which are obviously needed to survive all of this stress I am feeling... I do wonder though that they could make better use of the space they have. It feels like the stock was a bit sparse compared to other locations. I ended up spending about $20 here on snacks I shouldn't eat. I also found out that my cat goes bonkers for Flamin' Hot Cheetos and I can't eat them without her harassing me... it is to the point that if she even hears me take the bag out she comes running, hoping I will be a bad cat owner and let her pig out on people food (if you can even really call the it that). No worries, I don't let her indulge. No chips for Sophia! As for my Andy Capps Hot Fries craving, I decided to bite the bullet and order them in bulk from amazon again. It's just so dangerous to have so many crispy yet buttery hot yummy goodness around the house all day. Why didn't you warn me harder mom? The temptation is in my skin now! I'm a ruined woman! Adam is so disrespectful!!! I walked in to grab a money order and Adam started yelling at me that they I needed a card l. I was explaining to him that I go to multiple 7/11 and pay cash for money orders monthly . Adam continued to raise his voice and yell at me until the other employee came to tell him to leave. The customer service from Adam is not okay. He continued to speak in his language throughout the store while I was waiting for manager . When I asked how long until the manager they said they didn't know. I don't think management was contacted! Terrible customer experience and no self control !! read more

I stopped by this morning to grab a few things. The Indian guy there made it so uncomfortable. He scanned the stuff I was buying then gave me a total I paid for the things. This is what really made me angry after I paid him he pulled everything out of the bag after he had just bagged it. And started looking at the receipt and what he had just bag to make sure he didn't miss anything or maybe assume that I was stealing. I will never shop at this place ever again. Smells terrible and the pizza had flies in it.. Incredibly rude and unhelpful employee was trying to steal or hustle me and said they were "only cash" for prepaid gift cards. It is possible that he was not smart enough to figure out how to ring them up and knew I did not have cash but I have purchased these same cards from this location previously without issue. Nice 7-Eleven located in a great residential area of Little Italy and one block away from India street where most of the action is located. I stopped in mostly to use their Citi-Bank ATM which is a coop with local Credit Unions and do not charge fees. After using the ATM and getting some cash for Festa that day, I picked up a single 16.9 oz bottle of water from the adventure ahead. The girl at the register was nice, but she was preoccupied with an transient individual that was causing some mischief in the store, so her attention was focused on him for good reason. The store was organized but quite tight given it is smaller than most but it works. There coffee island is about half of the size of most others. I am sure glad 7-Eleven offer no ATM fees with my credit union because it's like having an ATM on almost every corner. read more

It says on the door they open at 5am. Says on maps they open at 5:30am. I have no idea what time they open because it's 5:45 and nobody is here at this location or on the other side of little Italy. Would be helpful if you let customers know what time you open so they aren't all standing around outside in the rain and cold. read more

If I could give this place less than one star then I would. I have now had this happen twice where the person running the register tried to over charge me and then argue with me about whether he was doing it or not. When 3 slices of severely over cooked pizza for $3.49 and 2 bottles of tea at $2.50 comes out to $8.01 (the total should have been $6.61) and I hand him $3 in cash, the total leftover does not in any way shape or form equal $6.61. And rather than admit to shady register running, he wanted to keep arguing with me and tell me how I was wrong for $8.01 minus $3.00 not equaling $6.61 read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Can't even believed this happened! The most absurd thing happened yesterday at this 7-Eleven. We had just finished dinner at King and Queen cantina, just across the way, and we were heading to another bar up the street and decided to stop by 7-Eleven.. My girlfriend went straight to the counter to ask for what we came for, and the lady REFUSED to help us. She said ACCUSED my gf for being the person who stole her phone!!!! At first it was hard to understand what she was saying just bc we all had our mask on.. and then when we heard her say, "I know your the one who took my phone, I have it a picture of you" and my gf took her mask off and said "ME?!" And then she replied "you look really familiar" and did a hand gesture, waving it up and down!!!!! I can't believe what I was hearing! There was another employee there, a guy, and he came up to the counter, and we even asked him "Can you just help us?" (to obviously get what we came there for) and he shook his head too, and said "idk, but I heard something happened with her phone".. SHE WAS SO SURE THAT IT WAS HER, so we asked to see the picture and she just walked away and said no.. the employees name was Ladura. I am a San Diego local, and have NEVER been to this 7-Eleven off Kettner, and WILL NEVER GO BACK. They discriminated us for being people we weren't, and doing something we ABSOLUTELY did not do! As far as 7-Eleven's go this one has got to be one of the worst ones I've been to in SD. It's tiny, grimy, has a small selection of pretty much everything, and each time I've been through the cashier has been really rude. I hate to knock a convenient store that is attached to my building, but for as many of these there are within the vicinity of downtown I don't mind walking a few blocks for a Slurpee an a smile. The corporate offices should close this store -- very dirty, bad stocking, bad, rude employees. Needs training, needs to have cameras in this store -- employees spent more time flirting with each other rather than help check-out paying customers. Plus this late Monday night Nov 16, -- I suspect one employee (he) must be the reason for shrinkage. Good selection of what we needed -- but didn't like the service (or lack of it) or the dirty store. For the TV Show -- Undercover Boss -- The CEO should have fixed this store and its employees. Cheap and convenient at a great location

This 7-11 gets a good rating because everytime I or we (the hus & I) come in the cashier is always super nice and because I consistently forget things at the grocery store we seem to be in here a lot. Now I will admit that their selection isn't as vast as some other sev-o's in the neighborhood, but they have most of the basics and it's right across the street from our loft so I really can't complain. Plus they consistently have my late night favorites, ice cream sandwiches, oreo cookies and diet coke. read more

Crowded, but efficient. There was a street festival going on in Little Italy, which I think added to their business that day, but everyone lined up orderly and the one person working was able to handle it just fine. I got an egg salad sandwich for lunch- not bad. read more

I walked here for a mile at 1:30 am as a last resort to get some foul late night food in the assumption that at least 7-11 would have something edible. Guess what? There was absolutely nothing edible in the store. No gross 4 hour old hot dogs waiting for me. No questionable nachos. Nothing. They had already cleaned up like any normal, respectable business.
