This place is to be avoided at all costs when middle school and high school children are present. They literally overrun the entire place and kind of leave the store a little bit of a mess. However, during the rest of the time (a.k.a. weekends), this 7-Eleven is my go-to spot for random energy drinks and to stock up for road trips. I like that they actually have new stuff in here all the time like those extra spicy cheetos. And anyway, I can't justify giving this place a bad rating. I want to give a heads‑up to parents, especially those with kids who walk around the Piedmont Middle School area. I stopped by this 7‑Eleven and witnessed the cashier interacting with a young girl (around 12-14 years old) in a way that felt inappropriate and unprofessional. He offered her a free drink, but when I asked--loud enough for another customer to hear--whether everyone was getting free drinks, he said no. When I pointed out that it seemed like only "pretty little girls" were getting special treatment, he looked embarrassed. The whole situation made me very uncomfortable, and it didn't feel like normal customer service. Kids should feel safe in public places, and staff should maintain professional boundaries at all times. I hope management addresses this, because behavior like that is not acceptable. --- read more

The rude store attendant keeps following me around the store and angrily asking me questions. Refrigeration doesn't work well. Milk is almost always curdled. Broken card scanner. I left because I didn't want to have an ATM charge for a bag of chips. The attendant yelled at me for not seeing a small written sign in poor penmanship that card reader does not work. These guys are listing themselves as 24 hours business, but i was just there at 230 AM and its not closed for cleaning or anything. Its just plain closed and locked with a guy sitting there who shook his head at me when I tried the door and was looking for something on the glass to indicate specific business hour changes or something of that effect. I come to this 7-Eleven from time to time due to it being down the street from my in-laws. It's purely out of convenience. Employees here are often short and I particularly hate the fact that they stare at you during the entire duration of your visit. I get that a lot of students will typically come in which may be the reason for the heightened monitoring but c'mon!!! This place don't know how to sell gift card and stole $200 from me. I bought an ebay gift card for $200 and they voided the transaction so the gift card wouldn't work. When one gift card is voided on the receipt, it deactivate any gift card in the transaction. Never going there again. This location is awful. I come in here late at night (around 10p-12a) since I work late & this location is on the way home. I don't know where to begin so I will just highlight bullet points of my recent experiences. * No fresh hot food ready in the evenings. Usually the food is either burnt or stale. I asked for a hotdog once & I was told to get it myself. It's kinda hard to reach the food thru the glass with the tongs provided. Also, the hot dog buns cumble up and fall apart when you try to open it to put the weiner in. The taquitos are nasty as well. * Store closed at midnight. I came by & door was locked. Clerk waived me off saying "closed". I figured they were doing inventory or something. Came back a few days later around the same time & they were closed again. Clerk finally told me they close at midnight now. I thought it was open 24 hours? * They don't honor their promo deals. Several times I have seen people try to buy their BOGO deals & they get charged regular price when you see the display promoting the deal. * At times they lock their beer fridge, which sucks because you then have to wave the clerk over. And usually it's just 1 clerk and clerk is helping everyone else in line so you may have to wait a while. I suggest going to other locations if possible. read more

Located between my residence, my ex husband's residence, and my Daughter's school. It is best to go during non school hours because it gets PACKED when school is in session. Imagine 5 schools w/in a 5 mile radius. You have Piedmont Middle, Toyon Elementary, Piedmont High, Noble Elementary, and Summerdale Elementary.. Fairly small parking lot but to your right there is plentiful.. where Fast Pizza Delivery is (which BTW is an awesome pizza joint). It's been hot so every time I pick my Daughter up, I ask if she wants a drink so far both times she wanted a small slurpee. There is a 20oz. soda deal.. I forget which brand (Coca Cola or Pepsi Co.) but 2 for $3.. can't beat that. Like any other 7-11.. convenience especially on a hot ass day. read more

I'd been going to this place right before I hit the books in Beryessa Library. This particular day, December 5, 2013 at 10:15am I decided to grab a drink and a peanut to eat. First thing I notice when the cashier was helping his customer before me, he was on the phone, ignoring the customer ring him up and continues to talk on the phone. How hard is it to put the phone down for a minute and show some respect and acknowledge his customers? After he rang me up, he looked up me like a thug, nod his head up and down and says, "thank you mam". LOL then he goes back to his phone. Man, 7 eleven, this is why I avoid stepping in to this place at night. A good day to start my morning study. I have only one complain, cashier sucks ball in customer service. Wow, this 7-Eleven has been here for years, I remember going here when I was in middle school, which for me was a long time ago. Yes, this place has been remodel over time and the employees have moved on too, but there has been one good thing over the years, it is a great place to get that cold Slurpee and soda with some chips. The only thing is, if you are going to get something while Piedmont Middle School let's out, you might be waiting for a few minute to get in and out of this 7-Eleven, but any other times you can get in and out fast. read more

This 711 is horrible. I am a faithful seven eleven customer, but after visiting this sure I questioned weather or not I would ever step inside one again. Here is what happened... Me and my girlfriend were on our way home from a lovely day at alum rock park, and decided to stop and get a slurpee. We looked up a 711 on yelp and it brought us here. We pull up and I proceed in side and go straight for the slurpee machine, none of the red "do not use this side" lights were illuminated so I made my drink and walked towards the register, on the way there I took a sip and realized it was very runny so I doubled back for the machine and through the slurpee away and made a new one, with non runny flavors. as I was making my way back to the register I was approached by an employee (apparently the owner) who TOLD me I was going to pay for the slurpee I through away.i explained I wasn't going to pay for a runny slurpee, especially when the lights were not on indicating not to use certain flavors. he continued to get confrontational eventualy telling me my business was not wanted and to get out. I was going to put $2 on the counter and walk out but he was blocking my path and telling me to put the drink down. At this point the whole store was looking and a scene was being made, the cashier came around the register and was trying to surround me.i decided it was about time to give up on the slurpee and get out of there. I set it down on the counter and as I did, the owner tried to grab my arm resulting in the slurpee being knocked on to the floor. As He bent down to pick it up, I saw my opportunity to escape, I jumped to the door and just barley got through it when I saw him throw the remainder of the drink at me, (fortunately I have cat like reflexes and the agility of a cheetah) I jumped out of the way Just in time. it splattered all over the door and I continued my dash for the car, hopped in and peeled off, as I was leaving both employees were taking pictures of my license plate, using profane language (shit bag I believe was the tem) while rubbing there crotches. I drove away, dumbfounded at the confrontation that just occurred and came across another 711. I stopped, bought a slurpee and had a very pleasant experience. I then remembered that 711s are privately owned and I can't judge them all because this one owner was a douche bag. I will never go there again and I warn every body who is considering going there, save yourself the conflict and go to the other one about a mile away. read more

Had I yelped this place any other time, I would've given more stars. But today (4pm) I made the mistake of passing up Shell and Arco, to get candy here. This was after the school rush. There were only 4 people in line. Well, I could've been in and out of a Walmart on a wet Sunday afternoon quicker than this place. I was third in line, until I decided I'd waited long enough, left my candy on the counter and walked out after the cashier took forever with the two customers ahead of me, then decided to help someone who wasn't even in line. New employee? New to cash transactions? I don't know. But maybe "going inside and being able to find the item you're looking for" is the new definition of convenience. That I was able to do. But unless you bring a big bag of patience and fail to notice the eternity (for a convenience store) spent there --- or give up and walk out with nothing, "getting in and out of there quickly" might not be an option with this guy. read more

7-11 is great. It's not 7-11 that I don't like, it's the staff at this particular store. When I was in middle school everyone would go here after school. The staff would only let five or six kids in at a time. They would make us leave your backpack in the front of the store. Which I get, they don't want a million middle schoolers running around. But the thing that really aggravates me is the staff. They were always REALLY rude to us. They didn't treat us like a customer, they were always yelling at us and telling us what to do. I understand that middle schoolers could be annoying but we are still paying customers. There's one man that I think works there but I'm not sure, because he also works as a postman. He's the man who stands at the door telling the kids when they could go in. I just think it's weird and kind of unprofessional, because he's still wearing his FedEx uniform. If he does work at 7-11 he could at least wear the uniform. The rudest worker of all was this women. She would yell at kids for no reason. One time my friends and I were looking around the store to see what we wanted to buy. Then she came up to us and yelled saying that we have to leave the store right away if we didn't hurry up and buy something! So yeah, I love 7-11 but not the staff at this store.
