As new customers who recently moved to the area, we shopped at ShopRite in Bethpage twice, and…read moreunfortunately, both visits left us disappointed with the checkout experience. During our first visit on a Monday afternoon, the store was fairly busy. When we reached the checkout, the cashier offered no greeting, no communication, and rushed our order through the register. What surprised us most was that there was no assistance with bagging our groceries. Having worked in the supermarket industry myself, I found the lack of customer service and basic courtesy disappointing. We left the store confused about whether customers are expected to bag all of their own groceries, as no one explained the process. Because of that first experience, we assumed this was store policy and were prepared to bag everything ourselves during our second visit. This time, the cashier was somewhat friendlier and at least greeted us, but the checkout process felt very rushed. We had 43 items and were actively bagging our groceries while my wife completed payment. Before we had finished organizing and bagging our purchase, another customer was directed to the checkout lane behind us and began moving our items aside to make room. The customer appeared frustrated, and the situation made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. Once again, there was no assistance from the cashier and no explanation of how customers are expected to manage bagging while the next order is already being processed. What made the experience even more frustrating was observing several employees elsewhere in the store appearing to have free time while customers at the front end were struggling to keep up with the checkout process. If the store's policy is for customers to bag their own groceries, that should be clearly communicated. If it is not the policy, then additional assistance at checkout would greatly improve the customer experience. We understand that retail is challenging and that stores must operate efficiently. However, customer service, communication, and courtesy still matter. Based on our first two visits, the checkout experience felt impersonal, rushed, and unnecessarily stressful. We hope management will review the front-end operation and consider ways to make the checkout process more welcoming and customer-friendly for both new and returning customers.

Ticket times in my experience frequently exceed 15 minutes, orders are frequently prepared wrong, and staff is not friendly at all. I learned the hard way that 50% off is no bargain. What used to be organic/healthy now looks like frozen unhealthy meals. They are even inconsistent with when they put food out? The pizza & sushi are just ok, nothing special. Everything is expensive including the $14 Guacamole. The croissants taste like brioche bread, usually stale. Costco has better fresh sourdough bread. I shopped here because it was convenient but all of these items I could get anywhere. Pass.

Time to update this review…read more After my continued frustration with the curbside pickup four years ago, I only came here to get fuel. Almost two years ago, I noticed they designed dedicated parking spaces for curbside pickup. No more guessing where to park. I took a chance and ordered online. I am happy I did! Since then, there have been no issues with the curbside service. The App is fully functional and checking in has been a breeze. I now have returned to this location for shopping and fuel. Less than a minute later on August 6th 2026 at 6:09 PM ET the full amount of $298.00 was paid to Bj's Wholesale Club, the same amount I'm supposed to receive monthly for my food stamps paid by NY State, but instead my payment was electronically diverted to Bjs Wholesale. I'm disabled and this is the second time my FoodStamp payment has been hacked. This is a continuation of the Food Stamp hack perpetrated last month that was actually split into 5 different payments to 5 different LLC's I want my Food Stamp money paid back, but seeing thats unlikely, who knows what I've got planned?

Plenty of flavors to choose from, both cream-based and water-based with quite a few sugar free options if that's what you're into. They also have soft serve ice cream as well as hard ice cream. It's family friendly, mostly high school girls working the counter who are usually very pleasant. There are a few tables to sit at at this particular location, and there's a bench outside. A classic summer time after dinner treat.

The scallops were small which should have been my first clue. I made sure the were dry and my Ramsey meter went off an it said these at best are thawed and not the Dry Boat I paid for . The scallops were spitting while being cooked and i knew they were crap. attached is a picture of this garbage . Along with this I bought the last slice of Icelandic Flounder I was told it was not frozen, I think they mean now that horrible fish was 24.00 a pound, my suggestion is avoid the fish at this place. As I was cleaning the stove from the mess these wet scallops made a song jumped into my head. Instead of Amore I have edited it to say no Amore for fish .
