I asked him where's the rest of the order and he replied "the sandwich was the only thing they gave him". I asked him didn't you have a list of the items that were in this order? He acted as if he didn't understand what I was saying and left. I called Wawa on North Point Blvd and talked to the manager and was told I had to call DoorDash because it was the DOORDASH because it was their driver who left the rest of the order. I called DOORDASH and was told that I had used WAWA's app to place the order. This went back and forth for over an hour. I asked Wawa if I could come to the store and pickup the rest of the order and was told no even though the rest of the order was in a bag at the cash register at the front of the store. She said I don't have a receipt for the missing items. I told her I have a receipt on my phone in the Wawa app and she still refused to let me pickup the bag with the missing items. Then DoorDash called her and she refused to come to the phone and talked to them. Eventually I contacted the people at the Wawa app and got a refund for the missing items and the tip for the driver. I will never shop at the Wawa on North Point Blvd and if I used the app again I will go to Wawa and pickup my own order.

This neighborhood (Old Dundalk/St. Helena) is slowly losing the war on drugs. It's a low-income area, but there are also single-family homes and their disgruntled owners. Royal Farms sells cigarettes, so there can sometimes be some questionable customers, people acting foolish, angry people raging against life, people there for the free water, and those who know that Royal Farms sells some delicious food, for a decent price. Jeremy and I recently couldn't decide where to go for dinner, so we ended up ordering some chicken and sandwiches on the app (Jeremy earned a free 10-piece chicken with this order). I got an Italian coldcut with onions, hots, some weird garlic aioli... it was good. I shouldn't have gotten pickles, because they were dill and didn't meld with the other flavors at all. I thought they had an Italian dressing or oil, vinegar and Italian seasoning in the past, but Jeremy didn't see it on the app, so we got the garlic aioli, which I didn't like much. Sometimes I don't want a mayo-based sauce. Jeremy got a chicken bacon ranch sub, but ordered spicy chicken, which he regretted. And a 10-piece, dark meat bag-o-chicken. He decimated 9 out of 10 pieces. I thoroughly enjoyed the thigh I saved from his fried-chicken-loving maw. We enjoyed our meal. And the service was great. We're definitely going to have to keep Royal Farms in our dinner-choice rotation.

Ordered a meatball sub. All other customers got their orders and left. I waited patiently. Employee…read morefinally made my sub , which I watched closely. It was made and he placed it on the table where it just needed to be wrapped. Then a young lady came in and showed the employee a receipt. He promptly responded and then proceeded to fill her order while my sub just sat there. There was another employee helping, who just ignored my order also. all this time I am just waiting to just wrap my sub. I really think this employee was just playing with me here and delaying my order on purpose, so I just requested a refund and went to Chick fil A where I was promptly taken care of. Lesson learned. Don't waste your time at Wawa, go to Chick Fil A. Been here may times in the past but the last couple of times it has been a very bad experience. I will never go back. Good thing is Royal Farms is building a new location very nearby. This will probably put this Wawa out of business.

The space and seating inside is limited, so it definitely seems more of a to-go than sit-down place. The staff was nothing but kind and worked very hard to keep the line moving as they were SO busy! They were giving away complimentary pastries ("mini" versions of what they'll sell regularly!) and gelato scoops as part of their first day, so I snagged an espresso scone, a slice of Cinnamon Toast Crunch banana bread, and a scoop of pumpkin cheesecake gelato. All three were SO yummy. I especially loved the gelato, which was super creamy, smooth, and pumpkin-y. I got to try a few samples of other flavors, and they were great too. I also got a pumpkin oatmilk latte to go with my pastries. I returned the next morning to see how the experience would be on a more "normal" day. I got a pumpkin oatmilk latte again, but asked for extra syrup as the first one I had wasn't quite as sweet as I would like. The woman working made my drink with one extra pump, and gave me the option to add another if it still wasn't sweet enough. I did end up needing another one, and I really appreciated that I was able to do so. I also got a full-sized espresso scone. These ones had crunchy sugar on top, which was a nice touch. Super excited to continue supporting this new local business. Hoping the community continues to show as much support as they did on the first day so this place can stick around for a while!
