SO glad this spot opened back up! This one's a staple for me, especially on weekends. Warning! It fills up quick so you have to go early if you want to be in and out. Aside from that they move quickly and know how to work the line. It was just remodeled after a tragic event and has some new light to it. Love the way they made it more lively and added tv screens to stay with the times. A little pricey but you get what you pay for, best bagels in Tampa. I take the drive any day for this experience and a great spot to share with friends after a night out or just to catch up in the morning. Yelp still says they are closed but they are OPEN!

Good selection of bagels. It's dense and chewy. Everything is big here, the muffins, cookies, bagels, almond horns..... Prices are considered on the high size.

Asiago bagel with Greek olive cream cheese

Came today for the first time. People leaving gave the tip that the Asiago bagels had just come out and were still hot, so I knew that had to be my bagel choice today. I got the Asiago bagel with Greek olive cream cheese. There was no need to toast it since steam was coming from it after they cut it. They asked if the ample amount of cream cheese already put on the bagel was enough or if I wanted more. That was impressive since many places barely cover the bagel. My husband got the Asiago bagel with egg, sausage and cheese. We were impressed that the eggs are fresh cracked and not from a box. The restaurant has inside and outside seating. We enjoyed eating outside since it was a decently cool May morning. We will definitely come back again soon.

The best bagels in florida period ! I drive 40 miles just to have these delicious bagels. I take back my previous review of about 2 years ago and will gladly pay the $6 considering all the terrible bagel spots where I live in the Hudson/Spring Hill area in FL

    Filth

This place is dirty - flies landing on food, no hair nets, no hand washing and improper glove use. The customer-facing drink cooler is filthy, and that's just what is easy to see. And, to top it off, the sandwich I paid TEN DOLLARS for was made with bacon instead of sausage. It took me 6 years living in the neighborhood to try this place because I had heard mixed reviews back then. Save your money and health, go elsewhere.

My coworker and I stopped by here on shift for a quick breakfast since we pass it every day and were curious about it We both went with the bagel sandwiches, his with bacon and mine with ham. The sandwiches were quite filling which was good since they are about 12 dollars per sandwich. The owner freshly cut the ham for my sandwich and I was happy overall with the meal. The menu isn't super expansive but service was quick and friendly

I finally found it at New York Bagels--and it's only 15 minutes from me! I stopped in a little later in the day, so they were already sold out of quite a few varieties (which honestly is a great sign if you know good bagel shops). I was hoping for onion bagels, and luckily they had a couple left. From the moment I walked in, I got the warmest welcome from the owner. He genuinely seemed happy I found the place and took the time to chat. He even gave me the number and said I could call ahead next time and they'd have my order ready--and even bring it out to the car. The bagels were exactly what I've been missing--fresh, flavorful, and right. But what really stood out was the kindness and genuine hospitality. This is the kind of small business you root for. I'll definitely be back--and earlier next time so I don't miss out!

This cozy little shop is located in Carrollwood Village... a huge housing development, that somehow-innearly 36 years of living here-I had never been to until now. But missing a turn, led to some exploring and then, some bageling! New York Bagel and Bean is in a plaza at the corner of South Village and West Village. The joint was jumping when I was there at 11am on a Wednesday. It was difficult to find a parking spot, but so worth it. The shop is very homey and welcoming-with several tables and homespun decor. The owner (or manager) was very friendly and helpful. I felt truly appreciated. I felt bad I was only ordering one bagel. It was big and the perfect texture. And then... came the honey butter. Honey butter, people! It's happening! This was not a drill! It was delicious! Decadent, yes-but the perfect accompaniment. I may be in love! Should I move to Carrollwood Village just to be closer? Maybe!!! I'lll report back!

The only downside honestly is the service. I had to explain multiple times how I wanted the sandwich made with the toppings side by side and the person taking the order just wasn't really understanding what I was asking for. Even after explaining it again, it still wasn't clicking, which was frustrating. I've noticed this pretty much every time we come here. The staff never really seems approachable or friendly and the customer service could definitely improve, especially when tips are being requested. A smile and better communication would honestly make such a huge difference because the food is genuinely great. We also tried the matcha latte for the first time, and unfortunately it wasn't good at all. Maybe it's new, but it definitely needs some improvement. Overall, we still love coming here because the food keeps us coming back, but the service has consistently been lacking. Realistically the service is probably a 3, but because we love the place and the food so much, I'll still give it a 4.

If you look at my reviews I haven't been the nicest to bagel shops around these parts. Going into Hyde park I didn't think they would be the saviors for the genre but they have gone and done it. A smash and grab operation. Swept me off my feet with an Asiago bagel with Ruben fillings (yeah they toasted it and applied all toppings themselves. Even cut it...other shops, take note) But yeah an odd order but it worked out so well. I loved it. Also tried a regular everything bagel and it did everything it needed to do. Hit all aspects of what a bagel needs to be and delivered. (Not pictured) Now you may see the photo of a purple bagel with blue cream cheese...did I order this, absolutely not. Did it kinda hit...yes...yes it did. Heres the deal chat, I will try weird things but I do need to also try to basics, like an everything bagel to really gauge things. This spot ripped. Prices are good too, 11 bones for a Ruben bagel. Yeah yeah I'll take that. A fun suprise and a location that will see me more often trying new things. Pro-tip: additional parking is located just down the street (look for the blue building with signage). I got to enjoy brunch on the outdoor patio (covered, breezy, and dog-friendly) recently and was blown away. The spanakopita was the perfect, flakey, savory intro and then paired perfectly with the sweet baklava coffee cake and croissant cinnamon roll. All three were exceptional and next time I'll go next door to their market and buy some to take home. From there we dug into breakfast dishes. I shared the Strapatsada (vegetarian, but you can add meat options), which is a Greek scramble with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, grilled baguette; along with the Med Morning Yogurt Bowl (v, gf) featuring fresh berries, house granola, mint, greek thyme honey. The granola was clearly house-made and I would also opt to purchase it at the market if they sell it! Both dishes were satisfying and hit the savory/sweet combo I was searching for.
