I just got back from going there for an appointment to straighten my hair and trim it. I am Indian and black, so my hair is pretty curly and thick. Although the woman I met was so polite and kind and very professional and just overall a sweetheart, she was also honest with me and let me know that she cannot straighten my hair because it's too curly for her. Which, I guess I can understand. I'd rather her be honest with me then take my money and leave me with a bad cut or style. So if you're like me and looking for someone who can deal with your texture this place wouldn't be ideal but for those with thinner, or just straighter hair, you'll love this place! Stumbled across this salon thru yelp and so happy I did! Got my hair colored the other day at another very popular salon down the road and couldn't stomach paying another $100+ for haircut and blowout so decided to try this place out and so glad I did! For a fraction of the cost, Esther gave me the cut I wanted and styled my hair. She also gave me great tips on how to care and style it. They do take walk ins but I would call ahead because it's only Esther and Sarah there ( I was able to get an appt the next day. Esther isn't there on wed.) This will def be my go to salon! Update 9/11/20 Way overdue for haircut so obviously came back here and am feeling so much better after getting my haircut! I honestly believe this hair salon does a great job catering to your needs to make you a satisfied customer for the second you walk in the shop. Today I arrived a few minutes from closing, Sarah went above and beyond the usual customer service. Most places these days will turn you away in a heartbeat, but not here. Came here because of the five star rating it had on yelp. I came here for a trim, which I have not done in a year. Esther was super down to earth and super informative about hair. However, in my opinion, $40 is too much to get a couple inches off. Considering where I had my last haircut done, this $40 trim did not include a hair wash and was done far too quick for my liking. I can see why so many people like this place, however I think it's a little too pricy for my taste. read more

I got a Brazilian blowout/Keratin today, Esther is hands down the most patient hair stylist I've ever had. She was so sweet. I called and she spent so much time explaining things to me on the phone. I also went in for a consultation and she took her time talking to me about my hair... i got an appointment the next day! I have awful hair, curly, frizzy and was def damaged. She was so patient with my hair today and took her time, super meticulous and so nice despite how long my hair took. I will def be going back! So glad I found this place. read more

I went here yesterday for the first time and I absolutely loved it! I had called several salons earlier in the day and Esther graciously took me in for a blow out. I told her I had a formal event to go to in the evening and she put in the extra effort to make my hair photo ready so I could run out the door and to the event right after without me even saying anything! Also went above and beyond to make me comfortable, got an extra pillow while drying my hair and a lot of other small touches. I just got an excellent haircut from Miss Sarah Kim at Seven Hair. She was very friendly to me and knew exactly the style I wanted even though it was the first time I came to visit. I've had my hair cut here twice and have not been disappointed! The hair stylists here are really nice and for the price they charge, it's really worth it. I have thick hair and every place I go charges me at least $50 if I want a cut, dry and blowout. That's the minimum they'd charge me so you can imagine most places go higher. Here, for 30 dollars Esther washes, cuts, and blow dries my hair. Last time she straightened it too and it came out really smooth and healthy cause she got rid of my dead ends. I like how if you ask for something, Esther sticks to it and doesn't get all scissor happy or try something else. I'm very picky with where I get my hair done because I've had so many bad experiences but this place was amazing!!! I went in to get a haircut and highlights and the end results were beautiful! It was my first time at this hair salon so naturally, I felt a little nervous but Esther made me feel comfortable. She really puts her attention into details and took her time with my hair, which I really appreciated. She also gave helpful suggestions and beauty tips/advice on how to keep my hair nice! Called last minute and was told that 7 hair salon does accept walk ins. Unlike some places that list it on yelp, though, this place is actually happy to help walk ins. No drama. No attitude. Just a pleasant welcome when I got there. Sarah did a great job with my hair - a grown out pixie that is currently 100 different layers and hard to shape. It looks amazing. They should charge everyone same price for same services but charges differently depending on who is...... shouldn't be that way.

After somewhat recently moving to this area I was unfamiliar of where to go for a hair cut. I have long hair down to my butt that I take good care of and whenever I have gone to get a trim in the past it has been at the same hair place for years who know that I do NOT like a lot cut off. They always would respect what I wanted and give me what I wanted. With that being said, I was extremely nervous to go to a new place in fear that hair dressers would cut off more than I wanted. I decided to go to this salon because of all the amazing reviews, and with joy I can say that I was not disappointed by any means! When I arrived I was greeted with kindness and brought over to a chair. Their place was not overly crowded (in fact I was the only person there and I was a walk-in which was nice) and it was clean. I was helped by Sarah and had told her I only wanted 3 inches off and for my hair to look as if it wasn't just cut (meaning my hair not being a straight line across my back). She had done a fantastic job, respecting my wishes and leaving me with a healthy, trimmed and desirable look! On top of that, it was inexpensive. I would definitely recommend this hair salon!
