Went in tonight for dinner,a waitress (with dark hair and glasses) forgot my water and soda, and got my mixed drink incorrect,(didn't give me my side salad also)(so was like teaching somebody on their first day) I let the manager know, she's starring over at me. We try to take the kids swimming in Thermopolis regularly and this restaurant has quickly become our family favorite! We're never here for breakfast but we're big fans of their made to order burgers, sandwiches, and like the sweet potato fries and tots. The kids love the chicken strips, get them everytime.The owner, Charlie, is a true gem of a person, always stopping by our table to make us feel welcome and joke with our kids. Used to be a great place to eat, but a slow downward spiral has been going for a while. Today, St Patrick's day, went looking for corned beef and cabbage, found it, boy was that a mistake. Not sure what shoe they were serving and pretty skimpy on the cabbage, spuds were fair. Food just isn't what it once was. read more

Don't let the outside of this place fool you, there is true magic going on inside!! From the staff to the food and decor, this place knows how to do it! We were greeted immediately with smiles and good mornings from several staff members, all with genuine welcoming smiles. Our drink orders were taken as soon as we sat down and came out before we had even finished reading the menu! We got medium spicy Bloody Mary's and they were spot on, with a pickle I might add! I love pickles!! I got the top breakfast plate and hubby got the Cajun Skillet. My breakfast came with THREE eggs, cooked perfectly, and the best bacon I think I've ever had! The bacon was cooked perfectly, not burnt to a crisp or rubbery, it was just right! Hubby's skillet was so big he couldn't even finish it, that never happens! He said it was delicious! The food was excellent, The service was amazing the food came out instantly, the restaurant is quiet but also a reasonable amount of loud. The kids loved the crispy chicken sandwich and tasty fries, the Wyoming dip was good especially the au jus but was wanting a horseradish sauce on the side, my green chili burger was perfect, truly smothered in a very tasty green chili. And the Speed Goat is a local and refreshing beer. Highly recommend - the best in town. read more

Can't say enough good about this place for breakfast. The menu selections are many. The quality of everything is top notch. The Mexican Skillet is particularly good, and the "American" breakfast selections are great too. They serve a mean Mimosa. Tables, booths and seating in general is quite comfortable. Wow!!! It's a bar open for breakfast and easily one of my best meals on this trip. Had the "Driller". Their gravy has flavor for days and is thick but not paste. The chicken fried steak is like my momma used to make. Absolutely phenomenal! Great light and fluffy baskets. It behooves you to try this spot! The other plates I saw coming out were looking great. On our way to Cody, Wy we traveled the Thermopolis, Wy around lunch time and decided to stop at 7 Lazy S restaurant. My oh my what a gem of a place this is. Good down home meals at very decent prices, service was top notch. My wife ordered the roast beef and mashed potatoes and I tried the Reuben with a side of tater tots. Both meals were very good and the portions were big. If you have an opportunity to stop in do yourself and your tastebuds. a favor and give them a try. read more

30 of us walked in for a family brunch and were seated quickly. We had fast, amazing service and great food. Not a long wait at all for so many of us arriving at once.
