I ordered again last night and went with the Colombiana burger and salchipapas carne. Again, a little underwhelming. I realized that the fries just taste a little stale and the meat is a little over cooked. The colombiana burger, however, was better than the quesadilla for sure! It had a great little flavor with all the sauces and instead of a ground meat the patty was more of a steak-like patty. All that said, I can't say I'm going to stop ordering from here as it's close and convenient and not bad.

It's always me, my mom, and my husband, and if one of the three of us is missing they actually ask where the other person is. That's how regular we are. Because it's a long drive for us, we usually bring a small lunch box with water bottles and Coke Zero for the trip. Today, under the guise of offering us ice for our lunch box, our waitress opened our lunch box, looked through it, and then shook her head at someone else like she was signaling "no, not here." We were honestly stunned. We paid and as we were leaving I told her, "If you wanted to check my lunch box for alcohol, you could have just asked." She immediately started saying "No, no, I was just curious because I want to start driving around with one too," and I told her flat out, "No you weren't." If I wanted to get drunk, I certainly wouldn't pick this place to do it. I have honestly never felt so disrespected. TSA doesn't even go through my bags like that. The rose-colored glasses are officially off. Again, the food is good, but I'm also not blind to the fact that this is a hot trailer on the side of Krome where you're constantly fighting flies around your food while you eat. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants where I can order a Coke Zero in air conditioning, or I can find another food truck,they're a dime a dozen.

The location is in a parking lot so when it says you arrived just drive deeper in and look to your right and you'll see the food truck. They add a block off (you can see in my picture) where they add tables and chairs so you can dine right there if you want. Parking is easy peasy since it's an entire lot. Ordering is easy too. Menu is on the right of the truck. You order and then wait. They auto give you everything in to go boxes but you can eat in and just use the boxes if you don't finish. Took maybe 10-20 mins to get my order which was just a steak quesadilla. It comes with birria sauce. I asked for extra sauce (the green and spicy) as well and then went home to eat. This pizzadilla is so delicious! First off the green and spicy sauce are not needed at all. Technically neither is the birria but I highly recommend it as it adds to the flavour. It's so good that I started eating through the pain of my fullness and had to stop myself at the last two slices. I mention this cause the next day I microwaved the last two and ate them with a refrigerated birria sauce container and it was just as delicious. This place is awesome and I would definitely go again. Try it out!

Seriously, who wants a taco that's just a ball of greasy cheese?  These tacos had an excellent amount of good-quality meat. The broth tasted notably different from any other I've had, but not in a bad way. If I had to describe the taste in one word, it would be "authentic," which can be a good or bad thing based on your preference. I also liked how nothing was overly oily or greasy. As for the sides, they tasted well but nothing crazy. They didn't leave a huge impression, but I did enjoy how I was able to alternate between them or even add some of it inside the tacos. I hope more Birria places begin to add sides because $20 for three tacos alone is unreasonable.
