Area food truck
Mass. E.

We got the food fairly quick for what we ordered. In my opinion the food truck was located in a good area considering there was a dollar store right in front ready to supply you with the extra chips and drinks you need. The service was great we definitely felt welcomed. The ambience was a little dim and the truck was hard to find but altogether the food was definitely worth what you pay for. The burritos are fat and so are the arepas

Food delicious recommend California burrito and the service is super friendly. Very bright location at night

Chicken, Carne asada and carnitas tacos

Still the best tacos around! Only thing I will mention is that the nachos are made with Doritos Nacho Cheese chips and topped with beef and a creamy green sauce. They're still delicious but not what I was expecting. Love this place!

Love is eating these delicious tacos

Haven't been here in 2 years and here I am again. Had the tacos of course, 2 chicken and 2 carne. Absolutely delicious. Carlos has indeed not changed and welcoming to his patrons as always. The flavors are on point and consistent. I ordered a steak burrito to take work for lunch for the next day. Very delicious as well. I appreciate Carlos and the consistency of his cooking. Highly recommend it!

Sooo good!! Ordered 9 tacos and a bowl! The husband and I loved it all. So much flavor and the sauces go well with everything. First time going here and it won't be the last!!! Try it! You'll love it too. First time I tried this truck was almost a year ago. Tried it again tonight and I was not disappointed at all. I had the hamburger and it was delicious. The fillings include egg, lettuce, tomato, pineapple and of course the hamburger meat which is not traditional. We also had the nachos and steak tacos. This place is delicious and of course everything is made to order.

look at how they package my food

ive never been so disappointed in my life!!!!!!! this is not authentic mexican tacos/food and NOT one person told me their rice is WHITE and their beans are BLACK. this is not authentic mexican food. not only that, they use cheap packaging and packaged my boxes on the opposite side which caused a large amount of bean sauce spillage ALL OVER MY FOOD! also, why is there a fucking hair in my food?!?!? worst experience in my entire life! i am 24. the absolute worst experience i've ever dealt with. and why does the chicken taco have cream????!?!?!! what the hell is this. and WHY AM I MISSING 2 AL PASTOR TACOS?!?!?! i said 2 pastor, 2 asada and 1 chicken. i want a refund. anyone who owns this business, please reach out to me and refund me my money. this is just absolutely brought so much frustration to me . i want my money BACK!

Steak Taco, Chicken Taco, and Pastor Taco

The tacos were alright. I feel like the flavors weren't really there, the soft shell was really thick and fell apart and just lacked seasoning. I think the Chicken Taco I got was the best out of the three that I tried but I probably wouldn't eat here again.

Beef burrito and assorted tacos

Best tacos and burritos ever!!! Got there late expected to have the last bits and crumbs. That was not the case at all. This place is all around (Hospitality, quality, taste and wait time) excellent. Hand made tortillas were thin and tasty. Thin enough to hold "all" the fillings without the doughy taste or texture. Great refreshing toppings and the sauces included were also excellent. The owner and staff were great. We highly recommend trying them out. We guarantee you'll become a regular.

Tacos $3 each (chicken, steak, al pastor), perro $8

This is a little gem in Homestead. Best tacos without a doubt...but I'm more of a burrito guy though. I've tried the Mega Burrito, the burger (with egg and all the sauces), tacos, perros (hot dogs), and the chimichanga and they've been all delicious! My favorite so far are the chimichangas, the Mega Burrito, and the burger. Prices are very inexpensive by the way. Earlier this month I went with my wife and 2 friends and the check was less than $50 and we all left with a full stomach because portions are huge (tacos are regular size.) Also, Carlos, the owner, is very friendly and makes everything from scratch. 100% recommended.

Can't miss it

I started hearing a bit of a buzz around this very unassuming truck in the parking lot of a day care and a tackle shop. Being the taco connoisseur that I am, I decided to try it. I live in Homestead, we do have a lot of options for good tacos down here more so than the rest of Miami, so the news of another taco shop opening was not very exciting to me. As I pulled up to the pale green truck with a few plastic chairs outside, I looked at the window and saw a small handwritten menu consisting of tacos, burritos, hot dogs, and burgers among other things. I was greeted by a delightfully mustached the man named Carlos who treats all his customers like he's known them his whole life. I decided to order three tacos one chicken, one carne asada and one Al pastor. I must say these might be in my top 5 of tacos I've had all time. I thought I had tried good handmade tortillas and I was by far surprised by how good these were. If you were in the homestead area and are looking for some legit tacos go no further than this truck.

I'm not going to lie the food has always been good, which is why we kept coming back despite the drive. The waitresses know us by now. It's always me, my mom, and my husband, and if one of the three of us is missing they actually ask where the other person is. That's how regular we are. Because it's a long drive for us, we usually bring a small lunch box with water bottles and Coke Zero for the trip. Today, under the guise of offering us ice for our lunch box, our waitress opened our lunch box, looked through it, and then shook her head at someone else like she was signaling "no, not here." We were honestly stunned. We paid and as we were leaving I told her, "If you wanted to check my lunch box for alcohol, you could have just asked." She immediately started saying "No, no, I was just curious because I want to start driving around with one too," and I told her flat out, "No you weren't." If I wanted to get drunk, I certainly wouldn't pick this place to do it. I have honestly never felt so disrespected. TSA doesn't even go through my bags like that. The rose-colored glasses are officially off. Again, the food is good, but I'm also not blind to the fact that this is a hot trailer on the side of Krome where you're constantly fighting flies around your food while you eat. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants where I can order a Coke Zero in air conditioning, or I can find another food truck, they're a dime a dozen.

To start they took at least 10-15 min to actually acknowledge us and let us know that they are really busy... we understand it's cinco de mayo but at least acknowledge us and tell us, don't leave us hanging!! When it came time to finally order our food they gave us the unfortunate news that they were out of carnitas tacos (which was the special and the reason we even went) so we ordered Al pastor tacos and carne asada fries. Now, the food.... Absolutely delicious and phenomenal as always! Definitely authentic and explosive flavors with each bite! But before we can even eat we realized they forgot to bring us the cilantro/onion side toppings so we had to remind them and wait another 5-10 min while our food was just getting cold to get the servers attention. The carne asada fries was something we tried for the first time today and I can't recommend it enough. Please order this when you come they were so goooood!! We also ordered the classic margaritas which were on the happy hour menu.... However the margaritas had 0 alcohol and was just straight up lime juice! Pretty disappointed in the drinks.... Last time we came we had a much better experience, I guess we can't come when they have busy days! Maybe we'll give it another chance maybe not, there's plenty of fantastic Mexican spots here in homestead and tonight was not a good look for Tacazo.

The place was busy, with a steady flow of people coming and going, which is usually a good sign. Once inside, we were greeted right away and the service was incredibly friendly and fast throughout our visit. The atmosphere had the familiar feel of a traditional Mexican restaurant, but with a genuine family owned, mom & pop charm that made it feel welcoming and authentic. I ordered the Mexican steak with jalapeños, while my fiancée went with the flautas. Both dishes were excellent and fresh, flavorful, and well seasoned without being overdone. The steak was cooked just right and had plenty of flavor. My fiancée especially loved the yellow rice and kept talking about it long after we left. Overall, this was one of those unexpected finds that turns into a place you'll want to come back to. Great food, friendly people, and a welcoming atmosphere. It would be worth the hour drive back here from fort lauderdale. We'll definitely be returning.

There are tons of vendors, plenty of produce, food trucks, fresh juices, games and rides for kids, lots of parking, and enough things to see that you can easily spend a few hours just wandering around. My favorite part, and honestly the main reason I keep coming back, is La Fontana Verde. If you love herbs, teas, tinctures, and natural wellness, do yourself a favor and stop in. The owners are incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. My family and I always end up asking a million questions, and they never make us feel rushed. They genuinely care and are always willing to share their knowledge. It's become our go-to herb shop. The produce selection at the market is huge, and it's actually kind of fun comparing prices between vendors. My only wish is that there were more certified organic fruits and vegetables available. If organic produce is your top priority, that may be a downside. But if you're looking for seasonal fruits, including seeded watermelons (yes, fruit is supposed to have seeds!), you'll find plenty of options. Another bonus is that parts of the market are covered, so even if Florida decides to randomly rain on your plans, you can still enjoy walking around.
