Pollo Guisado Jueves Special/Stewed Chicken and tostones(ordered on the side)

I was pleasantly surprised to run into this place!I was craving some Dominican food, started searching here on Yelp and ran into it and decided to check it out. The place is definitely a mom and pop/hole in the wall type of place and the food as expected is delicious! They have both food ready to order and food ready made that you can select from. I was rushing that day and decided to take it to go. I got pollo guisado with white rice and red beans and Tostones. Everything was delicious and the portions are very generous, definitely shareable. I took my parents there as well not too long after, and they agreed with me on how great the food was. I'm glad to have a place so close by and will definitely be going back often. I would definitely recommend this place.

I love it when there's a Dominican restaurant right near the neighborhood of Cutler Bay. The food is so good it just feel like home in Dominican Republic. Being in the restaurant I had lo cinco golpes, the 5 hits! Mangu, scrambled eggs, cheese, salami, and Dominican sausage (longaniza). Mmmmmmm I just feels like home. Very delicious. Too good to describe. The ladies who run the place are very sweet and cook with love. So when you know the cook with love, the food is going to be delicious. Nuff said!

Finally A REAL DOMINICAN SPOT!!! Cutler Bay just became more livable. I'm tired of eating the same garbage take out due to the lack of choices. This restaurant is your typical hole in the wall gem. I happened across it while searching for Dominican food because I was feeling home sick. The food is fresh and authentic and so is the owner. Everything tastes good, which is a staple of Dominican food. From the appetizers to the entrees and fresh tropical beverages. This is my new favorite place eat. I almost didn't want to put them on Yelp so I wouldn't have to share! This place is too good to be kept secret... Enjoy!!!

Amazing food and excellent service. Very clean and safe during these covid times. The place is very small but it makes up for its fast service. They have a TV playing Spanish programming. They are also on Grub Hub.

Vegan plate (Stir fried onions and green peppers, rice, beans maduros and tostones on the side) Must ask for it like this.

Omg. It's hard to find good Dominican food and when you find it you have to stick to it. This place is great! Everything tastes super fresh the women there are so sweet. The food is so good I fou up li literally eat it every day. I'm a vegan and they were able to customize a delicious dish for me with no problem.

I randomly found this place on yelp and was not disappointed. I was in search a Dominican restaurant for breakfast and got exactly what I was looking for. The food was delicious, the service great and the prices are very reasonable.

First things first, the DJ was ON POINT didn't stay on one genre too long, just kept the energy flowing perfectly. It was a rainy Sunday so it wasn't as packed or hype as we expected, but honestly? Even if it was just us and the DJ, it still would've been a whole party. The inside has a dark, moody vibe with cute spots for pics, definitely a vibe. Parking was $11 in a small lot right outside, which wasn't bad. Now let's get into the important part... the FOOD & DRINKS whew!! I had a passion fruit mojito and a passion fruit margarita, both were SO good. Like... real good LOL! The wings were flavorful, and we also had fried tostones topped with shrimp in this sweet sauce that paired perfectly with the savory. SO GOOD. I also tried two different sushi rolls with steak, and babyyy... every bite had me like "hmmmmm" no exaggeration at all. They offer both a brunch menu and a regular menu, and everything is displayed on tablets which was super vibrant and easy to browse. I don't love driving all the way to Miami, but for these vibes, the music, and the food? I'd definitely make the trip again. Good food, good drinks, good music, good vibes. We had an amazing time!

I ordered a cafe con leche, a Cuban sandwich and a Media Noche sandwich. Everything was delicious. Especially the media noche sandwich. I've had plenty of media noches in my life, but never as good as this one. Not sure what kind of bread they use for their media noche, but it was so soft, just the perfect amount of sweetness. I recently tried their iced Cuban coffee with sugar and milk, and it was such a delicious addition. The passion fruit juice is also fantastic. I finally tried the grilled lobster plate, and WOW, it did not disappoint. Honestly, you might need to walk around the block a few times afterward because everything is just THAT good, and you're going to finish every last bite. Puerto Sagua has been serving Miami Beach since 1968, and it is still standing strong, serving incredible Cuban food with so much character and history. And whatever you do, GET THE OXTAIL STEW!

The guarapo (fresh sugarcane juice) is refreshing and authentic, which is rare to find done this well. This place has the food down right. Unfortunately, the customer service ruins the experience. I asked for a pan con lechón and a pan con bistec, and the woman at the counter flat out said, "I'm not cooking." Barely toasted bread. But, good fresh bread. Not only was it dismissive, but it was also said directly to a local executive chef -- someone who knows and respects good food service. It's a real shame because the kitchen puts out quality food, but the lack of basic courtesy makes it hard to enjoy. My advice? Go for the food, but don't expect service. Order, take it to go, and skip the tip since service is non-existent. If they ever fixed their customer service, this spot would be five stars all the way. Ambiance ruined by customer service.
