The experience today at this place was HORRENDOUS. This place has deteriorated so much. The vaca frita was not shredded but it was huge boiled chunks of chicken with no seasoning, that tasted like boiled cardboard. It had a weird orange color and pieces of the skin that were soggy and slimy. DISGUSTING! The whole thing looked like a plate of vomit. All the food was cold and the ripe plantains were burned on the outside and raw on the inside. Service was slow and deficient although the place was (not surprisingly) empty. I complained to the manager whose name is Michael and he was totally unreceptive and unapologetic coming up with ridiculous excuses about their food. Not even slightly apologetic - never once saying he was sorry. He kept staring me down and giving me these dirty looks afterwards (childish behavior) until I left the place. Mind you, I am an elderly lady. This used to be a nice place with good home cooked meals. Not any more. It is terrible. This Michael guy should not be working with people much less be a manager anywhere. I wonder if the owner knows how terrible it is there. I will never set foot in that place again and will make sure to tell everyone I know about it. I wish the owner would contact me. read more

Management/ownership changed and this place has gone downhill. The last 3 times I ordered online they didn't make my food until I got there. Today I ordered at 2pm, they said it would be ready at 2:30 and it's now minutes to 3pm and it's still not ready. When I got here they said it's not ready yet and I just asked again for them to check and now the girl says they didn't have the order in the back but they will rush it now. You know what they say...three strikes you're out! Won't be ordering here again for sure. read more

Only giving it one because I can't give zeros. Been ordering from there for years because it's very close to our house, but this was the sorriest, most flavorless, and completely inedible Cuban Arroz con Pollo. Literally came with 3 maduros, 3! Tiny pieces of green pepper when obviously there are more veggies, and it was a small thigh and leg. Basically paid $13 for a lot of flavorless yellow rice. The sopa de malanga was also pretty flavorless but expected, and the sopa de pollo was ok. Either the cook isn't Cuban, they're getting stingy, or both. Anyway, not going there again. I'd rather make it at home from now on. As a matter of fact, would rather drive a few blocks up and have Thai or Japanese instead of this. read more

Ordered from this place from Uber eats. I ordered the pollo vaca frita, and it was horrible. It was chicken drumsticks chopped into pieces with no flavor. Literally the skin of drumsticks was in the food. I got for my kid calamari and they were soggy. The chicken soup my girl received had no chicken. This was not good Hispanic food. Delicious food, waiters are very attentive, and super nice atmosphere. Plus it's all at an affordable price. We do take out least twice a week from the specials menu (1 portion feeds 2 adults). Latin food restaurant in Richmond West area/neighborhood, Food was fine but what they have in menu as Bandeja paisa(typical Colombian dish) could be named instead as Bandeja Rincon Latino or something like that since it is not a real Bandeja paisa, it didn't have chicharron , no arepa, no avocado, it came out with Cuban style black beans instead or the red beans of the Colombian original dish. We also ordered Rinconcito fuego, it said it has Churrasco steak ,grilled chicken and yuca but the steak was cut in tiny pieces and was just a little bit of meat. Cheese flan was very good. I ordered the linguine pasta with shrimp & white sauce. It was disgustingly salty and drowning in sauce. It also didn't even have a lot of shrimp & the ones it did have were tinyyyyy. This meal looked NOTHING like the picture online. It didn't even come with any bread & I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be, but who doesn't give bread with pasta?? My husband ordered a breaded steak & the breading fell off completely as soon as he cut into it. He ordered congrís & was given arroz colorado. I've been coming to this restaurant for many years and have seen steady evolution of the dinning area and menu. All have been good. Visited last night after many years. The food was still good, but they've changed some policies. Bread. It's a Latin restaurant, but you have ask for bread. The bread was warmed in the microwave oven, so it's a rock after sitting out. Soft drinks. No refills and they switched to miniature cups loaded with ice. Ordered an ice tea. Sorry no refills on ice tea. I hate when restaurant owners start playing games. We have been going there for a while. The last three times the service was Extremely bad. Today 1/1/2020 we went around 11:30 Am. I asked for a Cuban toast when it got there no butter well it took two times and still no butter. I asked for a Orange a juice never came. The manager says it was because it was really full. What a poor excuse . We loved the place and I'll tell you the food is amazing but unprofessional I give I a 1 star. read more

My mom and I went here on Saturday 3/27 and we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the service here. Our server was Natalia and she was very sweet and attentive with us. The manager was also around attending to customers and he was very attentive to listen to our positive review. The food here is excellent, and you will definitely get what you pay for. We spend the winter in Miami, yes, we're snowbirds. Love going to restaurants where the local Cuban peeps eat. Rinconcito Latino III was a wonderful discovery, thanks to yelp. First time we tried the regular Cuban Sandwich for lunch and it is outstanding. Sitting at the bar, you can watch them prep the sandwich and complimentary buttered bread. We inquired about a soup a lady was eating and they promptly packed up a container of it to take home and try - no charge. Finished our sandwich and the soup for dinner - yummy! A few days later we came back for dinner. My husband loved the whole snapper, I had the breaded chicken cutlet Parmigiana; it has marinara sauce, ham and then Parmesan on top grilled under the salamander for a few minutes. Such a huge portion it could easily feed two. They were out of French fries for the moment (Sunday nights are extremely busy with take out meals), so we decided on different sides. While we were enjoying our meal, they brought a huge platter of piping hot French fries, even though we already had our sides. The Flan and cortaditos topped off a delicious meal. Thanks for helping me with my Spanish - I'll have all winter to practice. read more

This place has been around for many years, but about four years ago they had a fire and a couple years later reopened new and better than before. On their grand opening they had live music and fed everyone for free. Food is very good, portions are very generous and price is moderate. Highly recommend this place for latin food. read more

I placed and order for Arroz Imperial yesterday for 20 people and what i got was yellow rice with ham and cheese. It's incredible to think that an establishment would omit the chicken on a dish that clearly is all about the chicken. I basically paid $140.00 for yellow rice and ham unacceptable!! I have tried to calling the manager several times with no luck in getting him on the phone. I would definitely not recommend ordering the Arroz Imperial!! read more

I've been coming to Rinconsito for the past 15 to 18 years or so and the food is great, consistent just like home. However, they have a evening shift Manager by the name of Javier who is disrespectful and makes fun and mocks the customers which I believe is disrespectful; inappropriate and a lack of professionalism as Manager. I'm quite surprised the new owners of the restaurant decided to keep him on board. Instead of mocking and making fun of your customers Mr Javier you should make them feel welcomed to the restaurant and make sure they will return. Unfortunately it's the employees who destroy a successful business if the owners are not cautious on who they hire to represent their business. read more

2 words for you : Super Appetizer.. it's loaded and is a great treat for get togethers and events at home as it comes with everything. What's everything ? Tostones, steak, chicken, mini tacos, cheese, retried beans, pork chicharron,sausage, cabbage salad, sweet plantains and popusa( quesadilla concept with refined beans and pork).. Really dissapointed with this place, I've been here before , the service seems to be worsening every time . I come in sit at the bar stools area , there are several waitresses eating on the table , it took 10 minutes until I decided to finally ask to be served , their excuse was that they thought I was being serviced , how could I be serviced if all of them are eating on the counter , not good restaurant manners. It's dissapointing because the food in this place is really good and because of customer service like this is what drags restaurant down from getting proper stars . Would have to think twice if I would return to this establishment . read more

There is a parking lot right on the side of the building, but if that lot is full, there is also street parking, and parking across the street in a lot behind the Citadel. The service here was great! All of the staff were very nice and welcoming. The set up of the lounge is also very cozy. There is plenty of space for people to sit whether you're on a date or with a small group, but seating is first come first serve, so if you're coming with a group it's better to get there earlier in the evening so you have a space comfortable enough for the size of your group. There is also indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There are many wines to choose from and they also have a decent menu with light bites. We opted for the Dino nuggets and caviar which were a hit, the fried olives and some meats and cheeses with some cornishons, fig jam and a sliced baguette. Overall this place has a great vibe to it and I heard they host events every so often. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice space to chill with some friends and enjoy a nice spot in Miami.

I'm not a white wine or sparkling wine lover but their Blanc de Blanc is my personal favorite. It is simply delicious. I like it in both a Mimosa as well as plain. Our second favorite is the Lux Meritage, followed by the Super Tuscan as I truly am a Red wine lover. I recently tasted their alcohol free wine and was shocked to have liked 2 out of 3 flavors. The Strawberry Elderflower was yum and so was the plain. I forgot what that was called...Vivente maybe? Not 100% sure on the name but it was tasty too. So if you have non drinkers or any preggers in your crew CH have you covered. Now to the food my favorite appetizer is the Chicken Potstickers, the Asian salad that the potstickers sit upon is sooooooooo good! The wait staff always comments on how we're usually the only ones who eat the salad. That's sad because to me it's the best part! Asian egg rolls, flatbreads meatball apps are also good. My favorite dishes... Brunch: Breakfast Gnocchi Carbonara, Chilaquiles and the French Toast Dinner: Braised Short Ribs with Root Vegetables and Braised Short Rib Risotto are ties for 1sr place. Dessert: Their chocolate cake and key lime cake are also tied for 1st place Although. Sadly, they do much better in the dessert category with their monthly chef specials! We had him take care of us single handed in 2024 and he did such a phenomenal job we requested him for our 2025 dinner. Both party's were great and Linear was on top of everything. I love that he now waits in the main dining hall as well because now we can request to sit in his area and be properly cared for. Another Super Star server is Yolanda! She's so good it's hard to get seated in her area because her other guests always request to sit in her area as well. Finally, the manager Sam, he always stops at our table when he sees us in the restaurant. He makes us feel very welcome and he's always on top of everything ensuring that all Patrons are enjoying their meal and dining experience. I can't say enough good things about the Doral location.

The food and wine are always delicious - never a complaint there! This visit I had Dana's Parmesan Crusted chicken with the recommended wine accompaniment. I limit my visits to this location mainly because of the parking.
