I really wanted to like this salon as it has a lot of things going for it. It's clean, modern, they serve drinks if you like, the hair salon section was great, but the nail salon section was not, except for Kim. The others were rough and argumentative. The one guy spent more time on his phone than he did caring for my nails. He twisted my fingers so roughly that it hurt. The next time I went, the woman was so rude. I did not want to put my hands in her almost boiling bowl of water and was told, "it's not too hot" several times. So then she poured her own personal bottle of water into the bowl to cool it off. Yuk. I've never felt so uncared for as I have here. Oh, and my gel manicure chipped after two days. Will never go back as life is too short to accept this type of treatment. read more

I was glad I was able to walk in for a dip manicure. I was not expecting to have my old dip clipped off my nails and in the process was cut four times in the process. Then while finishing off my nails the technician filed into the worst cut (she had previously done) on my cuticle! The last straw was when she knew I had cuts she used rubbing alcohol to clean my hands and fingers. Most people would have said something to the manager about the bad service but I was hoping after each cut that that was the last one, I was speechless. It has been more than 36 hours and my thumb cuticle is still sore. There is no way I am going to go to this nail salon ever again. read more

The NORTH location needs training on customer service. Aveda is Aesthetically pleasing, cleanliness is nice, and the chandeliers we're beautiful ....But I went in twice and sadly to say was let down both times. the workers that do your nails seem to not want understand what we tell them and just does whatever they want and have poor customer service. They asked what I wanted and I told them how I wanted my nails Full set with gel nail polish same color as my toes to match my hands. Before we started my pedicure they told me to pick a color so I picked out the color I loved and gave it to the lady but was told "no this color better" and handed me different off white color with shimmer even after I declined 3 times she STILL put the color SHE picked out instead of the one I picked out saying it was better than the one I picked out ... Then when the gentlemen did my nails i had told him I wanted my nails to match my toes but he only did a regular manicure with no acrylics and a totally different color I had asked! It was just a plain MATTE WHITE And when I told him that's not what I wanted he told me that they were out of the color and that they just used on my toes! Did she said it was better color just so they can finish up the nail polish bottle? The level of frustration I had was tiring though I was trying to be understanding because of the language barrier it's hard when they just walk away from you right after they are done and just have you sitting there for a unnecessary 20 min thinking I was just an unlucky customer I decided to try again I know my mistake but I'm all about second chances so I came in a few weeks later but with my husband ... but still got the same treatment/problem as last time. this time I had asked for a clear full set with just ombré sparkles to match my toes (which the color was again not my choice because "this other color was better") shocked yes I know from then I already knew my nails were going to be a struggle ... again I asked for a clear full set with just a little gel nail polish but left with frosty coffin nails with NO gel polish just a mixture of PINK and sparkly acrylic powder ... Sigh* fooled me once shame on you but fool me twice shame on me. So for anyone who wants to get their nails or anything here I'd suggest you come with a translator or you'll come out getting over charged for something you didn't want and they can't fix it cause they "have no time" smh if I can give it no stars I would because me and my husband going in was only a few days ago and my acrylics are ALREADY coming off. First off, the new location of 7 Wonders Nail Spa and Salon is BEAUTIFUL! No complaints with the aesthetics or cleanliness. My sister and I went in for pedicures. We chose package 2 and we're looking forward to an amazing experience. My experience was terrible. TERRIBLE. I had to ask, not once, but twice for the technician to cut my toenails. She didn't shape them, nor did she clean under my nails. When clipping my cuticles, she cut me and I bled not only during my pedicure, but for several hours after. When polishing my toenails, the polish didn't cover well and needed another coat. She didn't want to apply another coat and went to ask someone else what she should do. Eventually I agreed to add a darker color to cover the original polish I selected. I asked my sister how her pedicure was, and she said she didn't have her callouses tended to. I asked her technician to take care of that. And he was upset that he had to do that. My technician was Carly and my sister's was Xay. When we were leaving, I told reception that I wasn't happy at all with the service, and she said those two techs were very good. Then she took my name and number and said she'd have the manager/supervisor call me. I waited for 7 hours and decided to call the manager myself. The receptionist put me on hold, came back and said he couldn't find her and he took my name and number again. No call back. If all you're interested in is a pretty place, this would be ok. If you're looking for quality services, this is not the place to go. Deserves no stars. read more

North location is AWFUL. No customer service. They rush you around. You don't get a chance to pick your colors. They do it for you most of the time. I was charged 80$ for lumpy, sideways nails that were not the design I asked for. After being told my nail "goes sideways" when it does not. I was not told the price of my nails prior to paying. I had to call my bank and ask what I was charged which was 80$. And instead of the design I asked for she threw on 4 stickers one being a Chinese dragon. Not a snake, which was very clearly in the photo. Oh and don't think about asking to sit next to a friend. They sit you across from one another backs facing each other and then tell you to turn around and talk. But then complain you need to stop moving to talk. My nails started to burn like they were on fire after the acrylic was applied and when I said this I was met with "that's weird" and she kept going. Awful service. Very rude staff. And I felt extremely rushed. For how nice of a place this looks I left feeling so angry and disappointed. 7 Wonders completely ghosted my request for Bridal hair and makeup services. I had an initial phone conversation with a bridal consultant. I never received a service quote after multiple requests. Several days after the phone consultation I received a "Bridal Contract" instead. The contract didn't include any of the information I already provided and didn't include prices. It did however request a credit card number. Which is ridiculous to expect me to provide without ever telling me how much it would cost. I filled out the contract, leaving my credit card info off. I went there in a group of 4 to get pedicures. I was put in the second massage chair in between my boyfriend and best friend. Immediately I noticed that my chair did not​ work. We let them know multiple times and we were brushed off, they had no concern that I was not receiving my favorite part of the pedicure experience. My 3 other companions had female pedicurists. I had a male. While the others enjoyed their chairs and foot massages, I did not get either. The gel paint job was horrible, I looked ridiculous compared to my friends. It started out fine but two people in my party were treated poorly because they only wanted regular polish not gel, two people were left back and not included with the rest of the party for the manicures. And one of our bridal party was yelled at because her fingernails were not drying fast enough. Some of us were given colors we did not not chose for ourselves. This was my first visit to this salon for a manicure - using nail dip. I have had this done on a regular basis at my winter home out of state and expected a similar quality. Nail Dip evidently is not something the technician at this salon does, nor has been trained to do. I was very disappointed for what I paid. Nearly every nail was chipping at the tips ( I have very short nails ) by the 3rd day! Normally nail dip if done correctly will last me almost 3 weeks. Then the receptionist accidently charged me twice on my credit card which I was not even aware of until my bank notified me of the duplicate charge. I called to get this corrected but it did not go through and I had to go back to the salon to get the extra charge reversed. First, if a client schedules an appointment for a #4 stylist and show for the appointment on time don't hand them off to a beginner, and not mention she's a recent graduate. She missed on many points I requested when talking hair cut. I wanted an even cut with texturing. And a large brush blow out. I got no texturing, and the blow out left my hair frizzy. I had a date and had to restyle my hair when I got home. I realize my cut is grossly uneven. she did not check to see if her last cut section matched the next. The back was cut like a block, not rounded and one side longer than the other. I have long hair that now poofs out at the ear level to my chin because the top layers are longer than those underneath. I didn't wash my hair that night, but by the next day I found my scalp irritated, and felt like a layer of conditioner was not washed out. Went in for a package 45 min massage 45 min facial + mani pedi. Loved the massage the guy (I think Damon) who did it was great and the girl who my facial Elena was awesome. Where it went wrong was the mani/pedi I don't remember her name but it felt rushed. She didn't do a decent job at all. Didn't clean the dirt under my nails or toenails. Barely scrubbed my feet. The scrub was rushed. Didn't clean up my cuticle area on my toes at all. And didn't put any lotion on my feet which you would expect with a spa pedicure. My nails. She told me it be additional charge for the gel polish. Which the package was a gift so I made triple sure the mani was included but the gel would be additional $15 and I agreed. I told her my cuticles on my hand were bad as well but she didn't even clean the dirt from under my nails and again the whole felt rushed. Before my toenails were done drying she was already taking the towel from under where my feet sat and replacing the plastic liner in the foot spa. My brother in law who booked the package was told it would be bottomless drink but when I asked for a second glass of champagne should told me they could do it. Which is fine if it's against policy but don't lie about it over the phone and say it's included. Also I forgot to mention the mani/ pedi she did not use new/ sanitized nail files and I do not recall the other equipment coming out of sanitized paper/ plastic bag things. At the end when I complained about the additional $50 for a service which was included they did refund me. My husband bought me a gift certificate for Christmas. I had a pedicure and the service was excellent. I have tried calling for appointments repeatedly but they never have nail technicians working. They also transfer their calls to the north store location. I called the valley location and was told I could walk in now for a pedicure. Arrived and they said " oh sorry, the north store answers our calls and sometimes they forget to say what location they are at. We don't have any nail technicians in today" very frustrating and a complete waste of my time. I would not buy a gift card for this business because they are never available. read more

Took my daughter to the North Side location today and it was beautiful!! However, the pedicures we got were less than desirable, especially for the price we paid! The technicians could not have cared less about our experience, it felt like they were in a race to finish. Out of the advertised, "All pedicures include foot bath, cleansing, shaping of toes nails, cuticles work, foot scrub, callus removal massage with warm towel wrap, and regular polish of your choice" We got a lukewarm towel...that was it! I don't even know why they ran us any water. I did pick "a polish of my choice" but then was told I wouldn't like it and "I would like another color better" which I don't. At one point my technician just left and came back with the bill. When I asked her about my massage that wasn't completed, she said that she wasn't done she just wanted to give me my bill then she proceeded to put some lotion on one leg and walked away. When I arrived for the appointment I was told it had been rescheduled for sometime in May (2 months out) because another client had add on services. I am giving 2 stars only because the color service was decent. I came in to have my weft extensions lifted. I was there 6 1/2 hours the first day for a root touch up and extension lift. However, my 5 week old extensions were removed and placed back in my hair in the wrong place. Missing stitches, painfully sewn in. Now I have never had extensions, so I had nothing to compare it to. I called the next day and was able to get in to have them moved again. But because they were moved to the wrong place, my extensions were cut to fit the new placement. My $400 dream catcher wefts were cut and sewn back together. Within 4 days, the whole left side of my top weft had come off the beads. The entire bottom weft was sewn into 4 of the 15 beads. I called the salon who said they couldn't do anything for me that night but a manager would call me in 24 hours. Nope! I had to go in 5 days later. I got a call that night and $250 service was refunded. I asked for $400 for the hair. Again someone would call me about the rest. It's been 8 days, no call from the general manager still! I went to the north location and they were prompt in getting me seated for my pedicure. The website specifically says all pedicures include foot massage, callous scrub and hot towel wrap. I didn't get any of that. My technician barely spoke English and told me if I wanted my feet scrubbed more than she did, that next time I need to upgrade the service. She seemed new and didn't seem to know exactly what she was supposed to be doing. I will give them another try, but honestly I came home and spent 10 minutes scrubbing my own callouses and applying lotion. She styled my hair in cute beach waves, and after I got home, I decided to rewash to make sure the sides were even, and my suspicions were validated. I'll start this next section by saying my hair is very fine and is thinning badly. I thought by cutting my hair it would give it a chance to grow in at the scalp. I think we took 3-4 inches off. Ibe done gel nails, acrylic and most recently went with a friend to get a pedicure. not exaggerating one bit when I say our $40 pedicure was 10 minutes max. !!!! the nail tech painted my toes and said ok when dry you can leave and left. they didn't touch my feet my legs, NOTHING! my nails are always rushed and come out with bubbles or super thick. my coworkers have complained about same experiences. this place is a nail Mill and it's a huge waste of your money and time. go else where. read more

Awful. Ruined my hair for the low price of $400. I literally went and had it cut off elsewhere, from my mid back, up to my chin, trying to get rid of the damage they did. I told them I didn't like it while I was still in the chair, and was told to come back and they'd fix it. When I called to make the appointment to fix it 2 days later, they told me no, they wouldn't fix it unless I paid again. The color was supposed to be just a brighter version of my natural color, to a darker color (ombre), but she bleached all my hair and it ended up an ugly color yellowish orange and fried. I even went to the BBB and this place refused to even respond. Absolutely the worst service I have ever had, especially from the manager. She needs to learn to manage her attitude before she should manage any customer based service, not even an apology. Worst service I've ever had. read more

This was my 3rd time coming here after another tech I was seeing moved out of the area. I came back because I thought being with such a big brand I would have pretty good results but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I'm 99% sure that after every time I have gotten a gel manicure that the polish has lifted on multiple fingers less than five days after application with normal day to day activities. I called to get the two that were peeling to get them redone but I didn't end up going, I was told it was a possible bad polish but it seemed like each polish I had chosen was a bad one. I feel like they should use higher quality polishes for the price at this salon. I was really disappointed in the outcome of the application because of the nail polish that they used. read more

Three hours of awkward silences, watching another stylist rooting around in the drawers for a certain pair of tweezers for another client (can't you afford another pair for what your charging). NOT full AVEDA products. They were in a generic bottle, so I have NO idea what they were. Tried contacting salon with my concerns and was ignored. Sketchy at best. Made no efforts to make it a relaxing experience. More like people straight out of training struggling to get experience. I will not ever go back here! I went in on September 2nd to the North Side location to get a pedicure and have my nails done. I had my nails done with a dip powder. On September 3rd all of my nails began to chip, bubble and/or was pulling off of my nail. I went in on the 7th to have them fixed and she fixed all of my nails because all of them had something wrong with them. The very next day on September 8th they once again were bubbling and half of one of my nails had completely came off. So I went back in on the 11th to ask for a refund, she stated they do not have a refund policy and do not do refunds because people don't have picture or video proof of the nail damage, as soon as she said this I showed her the pictures and videos I have of the damage of the nails. As soon as I did this she came up with excuse after excuse even going to say that they don't do refunds because people don't like their nails, which was not my issue. I loved the nails but did not want to continue going in to have to have them repaired them because of the damage to them. She eventually asked for my name and number and told me that a manager would call. I waited until today September 21st to call because nobody called. I spoke with someone and she would not tell me she was a manager and just asked what the issue was. I explained everything to her and she said we could give you a voucher to get your nails done again but no refund. I do not want to get my nails done there again because I do not want to have to deal with them chipping I would just like my money back for the nails. read more

Went to the new salon up North at the Y and the place is beautiful, friendly staff, etc. That is where it ends. My sis and I got a 45 dollar (5 dollar tip) Pedicure. It lasted maybe 10 mins. She did not clip my toenails or shape them at all ( I was later told you have to ask, but I have never had to anywhere else) She haphazardly sort of touched my heels, but didnt actually do any dead skin removal. Two days after my pedicure, my nails were chipped and the polish a mess. I am out 50. and have to go get my toes done for real somewhere. I am not sure I would trust them with anything more invasive like hair or skin care. read more
