So first staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The torta was good but honestly the star of this place is indeed the CHURROS. We got a dessert to share and like a sundae with churro pieces and fruit and man it definitely made me think of fresh churros from mexico they were delicious. Warm and just the right amount of sweetness plus the fresh fruit with ice cream made it that much better. Definitely will recommend and be back to try more desserts. Tons of seating available in the mercado ,if you're in the area and craving some dessert give them a try you wont be disappointed.

Of course, after dinner one must get dessert. Since this food court is filled with Latin food shops, I walked around and checked out what each was selling. 702 Churros caught my eye for their churro sundae. The sundae is ice cream topped with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, and it had two warm churros stuck into the ice cream. I think it was one long churro cut into two peices. You can get different ice cream flavors. I chose to stay with vanilla. This was such a nice way to end my visit to El Mercado's food court. Their sundaes also get larger thanone large scoop of ice cream. Some are in large cups with a churro ring that looks like the sundae has a doughtnut stuck to the side. I'll be back to this food court. There is such a variety of Latin food and it was all enjoyable.

Everything gets better with churros, it's hard not to resist them! This awesome place makes the best traditional fresh crunchy churros and offers yummy fillings of strawberry, vanilla cream, and cajeta. The flavors are amazing and not overly sweet, you gotta try them all! There's also dipping sides for nutella and dulce de leche. I love that they offer churro sandwich where you choose your ice cream and it's snugged between two crunchy churro disks, it's so good! Located on Maryland and Twain at The Boulevard Mall, you'll find 702 Churros inside the food court of El Mercado. Look for a huge Christmas Tree and El Mercado is behind it. The entrance to El Mercado is like walking inside a beautiful little village, the place is so vibrant and full of life! You will discover many Latin shops selling all kinds of wonderful merchandise. At the very back is El Mercado food court and there you will find 702 Churros next to Lizzy's Cuban Cafe and Sabor A Mexico. The Mercado food court is new and so magical, it's like a dream galore filled with all kinds of Latin foods! They just opened two weeks ago. 702 Churros menu offering includes churro sundae, milk shakes, and ice cream churro loops coated with your choice of sprinkles, chocolate & almonds, white chocolate & oreos, or fruity pebbles. They also have savory items like tortas with fries, hot and cold sandwiches, quesadilla, and burritos. I definitely enjoyed the mini filled churros especially with cajeta which is a silky caramel made with goat's milk, it's so yummy! The churro ice cream sandwich is a big serving, it taste amazing! And the tortas here are incredible. I had mine with turkey on a telera roll filled with mayo, sweet tomato, onions, and fresh avocado, it comes with a side of pickles and adobado jalapeños which gave it a nice spicy kick. Their telera roll is fresh and they stuffed the tortas real good! I had to do a happy dance, the turkey torta with the spicy green sauce was so savory and delicious! Breakfast Burrito is also very good! Fries are served hot and crispy. All in all, this is a cool casual spot for delicious churros and tortas. Service is fast, friendly, and the owners are nice! Sebastian is their son and he is so kind and attentive. He assisted me through the ordering process and answered all my questions about the menu. I felt safe dining in, the table seatings in the food court are spread far apart, there's enough space and room to enjoy a good meal. On weekends, they offer live music performances which is so cool! This place totally brings a lot of joy. I'm happy to see such a great community!

The food is delicious! I got a carne asada burrito and carne asada fries... like you can't go wrong with that. Plus, adding the churros and a churro loop with ice cream?! I was on cloud 9! The food wasn't too greasy, it was super flavorful and filing. My favorite was the traditional churros. It's located in the Mercado section of Boulevard Mall. What I like about this section of the mall is the culture that thrives. There is food from all over the world, primarily Latin America. When we went, there were singers! This place has a friendly vibe and is super inviting. It's definitely a breath of fresh air, especially during these times. The tables were spaced out due to social distancing and hygiene guidelines because of COVID and attendants were periodically cleaning spaces. I hear the tortas are their specialty, besides the churros, so I'm definitely coming back to try those!

This was such a fun place to try! It's located in the middle of the mall and it's wayyyy in the back of a store so it's a little hard to find. There was only one lady working the shop and she was nice. The shake was pretty good. Not great. It tasted like a milkshake from Del taco. The churro concept is really cool, but unfortunately it gets coated in melted chocolate in order for the Oreos to stick. The chocolate made the churro soggy, and the chocolate tasted pretty cheap which was a bummer. Overall it was a fun place to try and it's nice to be off the strip. I don't regret trying it, but I don't think I'll come back.

Let me start off by saying I never knew the Mercado exsisted. I went straight to the food court passing up the whole swap meet. I had to circle back and start at Bath & Body Works then went straight to he back and fell in love! I mean they have so many vendors!! I made my way to 702 and there was no line. The menus are sitting out. The lady working the front and back was very patient. I ordered the strawberry Sundae and the Turkey Torta. Mind you, I have never had a Torta, I know strange for a L.A. girl, but I hadn't. The sundae was great! A little smaller than I imagined but great. The Torta I could have passed on. It just wasn't the sandwich I was expecting so I won't be ordering another. The bread was great but I need my sandwich to be fully loaded with lettuce, sauce, etc. Overall, great experience but a bit pricey.

The best way to get to 702 churros is behind the boulevard mall at the El Mercado entrance. It's under the same roof as the mall but a completely different entity in itself. The second we walked through the entrance I felt like I was back on vacation. walking through the market place in Ensenada Mexico. We ordered two shakes that were really good and a breakfast burrito and fries that were good as well.

Mood- Something sweet Upon entering it was a sincere walk. On the maps it has it pinned in the main part of the mall. However this establishment is in the newest addition to the Boulevard Mall known as El Mercado. And this is complete with its own food court. Once we figured it out and made it to the back - we were asked if we had any questions re: the menu. You walk up to the counter, place your order, pay, find seating in the food court area, and they bring your food out to you. We opted for ( 2 ) Churro Loops - one with almonds, the other with oreos. Both were prepared wonderfully and great for taking those amazing photos that everyone is seeing pop up all over. The walk up counter was neat with all of the toppings and decor right there for easy access to see how they are creating your food. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend - pricing is fair, would def come back to try other churros with fillings. Location is El Mercado Food Court - Maryland Pkwy/ DI - ample parking

The matcha parfait was good with a nice creamy texture and flavoring. However, I have one complaint. When coming with two others where we are lactose sensitive and with one having an allergy to oats, they wanted to try the matcha latte's and we asked if they can make with almond milk . The female worker said they don't have almond milk and only do oat or whole milk which was odd, and I asked again to confirm and was told no. They ended up having to do whole milk despite being lactose intolerant and was bothered. I look through here from comments by the owner saying that they CAN substitute with almond milk, which is confusing and a little annoying that we were told they don't substitute almond milk and was never told a reason why. That's one complaint for those who might be allergic to oat milk or are lactose sensitive: There is barely any option to accommodate and for that I give three stars. I probably would not come back again nor recommend because of the lack of accommodation for those who cannot have oat/almond milk. However despite that it is good to try once.

But once you find the beautiful, ornate wooden door and step inside, you're transported into a charming little wonderland. The interior is unlike any other café in Las Vegas, with a greenhouse feel, small trees, unique décor, and plenty of cozy spaces to relax. The atmosphere is airy, whimsical, and fun. My favorite drink is the Iced Butterfly Latte, a delicious banana-flavored latte that's both unique and refreshing. I've also ordered the Berry Ricotta Brioche several times, and it's always amazing. The menu offers a great variety of pastries, sandwiches, desserts, and specialty drinks, so there's something for everyone. Pro tip: Find a table before ordering! This place gets very busy, and seating fills up quickly. If you're with friends or family, have someone save a table while the others order. Overall, Gäbi is one of my favorite cafés in Las Vegas, and I continue to bring friends and family whenever I get the chance. Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

There was a time when I came almost every week,…read moreand whenever my friends had birthdays, I would preorder their cakes here because I genuinely love the quality of the desserts. My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.
