This is as absolutely worth a detour. After being on the road for 5 hours, I wanted to get dinner and churros at a restaurant only to find out they were out of churros today. I found this spot and had to make a 30 minute detour and boy was it worth it! These are the most amazing churros!! Even better than the churro carts I've had in Mexico near the border. They are not your average churro batter. It tastes like there may be some buttermilk in the batter... tasted reminiscent of my favorite buttermilk bars from a shop in LA.
