    1 scoop guayaba con queso

3rd review here it goes So I can't say enough how much I love this place! When you type flor de Michoacán maybe a lot come out because it used to be a family owned chain. This one has been having new ownership. All ice creams are made in-house and their food is amazing but most importantly the service is so nice! They get busy so be patient! We've had the chance to meet the owners & talk to them a little and they are the nicest most humble people! Definitely my favorite ice cream place I always get guayaba con queso, my husband gets like piñón & pistacho.

Back again, this time to try their savory items (and more ice cream of course!) We were intrigued by the Tlayuda, a Oaxacan speciallity that looked like a pizza-Baked tortilla, black beans, cheese, onion lettuce, tomato, and avocado topped with a piece of carne asada, and chorizo. We also wanted to try one of their Hot Dogs. They had a Chicago style one, one called the Titanic, and another one called Chupale Pichon which means(according to the urban dictionary) "Suck my d**k"...Now why would you name it that when kids come in here too? Kinda awkward if a kid asks his parent for that!?!? Oh well... Of the two items we got, the Titanic Hot Dog was the better one with bacon, onions, avocado, and sour cream. I'd probably get this again. The Tlayuda had good taste, but the tortilla had a stale texture instead of a nice crunch I was expecting. Not something I'd order again. Our ice cream treats kinda made up for it in the end...whew! ALOHA!!! YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2013-(78/100) "Street Dogs and Sweets"

    Fresas con crema

I love it here and the fresas con crema are my favorite! Only problem is the last 4 times I've gotten fresas con crema they have given me nasty old strawberries that are turning brown/yellow and taste like chemicals so I end up only eating the crema and ice cream. Please use fresh strawberries, the fresas con crema are pretty expensive to be coming with bad strawberries.

    Corn in a cup

Last night we went to get some corn from this place and when I got home I saw how brown and old the corn was, I tried calling the number on Their website but it was not in order. I did find a number that matched the location but for some reason gave me a different store name (weird). My wife and I both called and they had asked if we could take the food back but I had other things going on so said if we can just go back tomorrow (today) and get our money back. The man said yes and took my name and number down because I had paid cash and they did not give me a receipt. Today my wife went to get our refund the they denied her the refund and said they will give her new corn instead, we did not want corn anymore let alone from that place, and why would they tell us one day yes then the next day no? The guy then told my wife if you want I can give you store credit but you can only get it when I am here. My kids could have gotten sick if they ate that and this guy expects us to only go when he's is there? We are not on your time, we are paying customers and the service that we got was horrible. For them to see their corn like that and still have the nerve to give it to paying customers is not okay. This place should get shut down for trying to sell old rotten food to people without care.

Here at 8:50pm told they are closed.

Outside the store tells us they are closed with time plenty to spare. Terrible employees at this establishment. Plenty of people wanting to work , they have lazy people here. Got here at 8.50pm told they are closed.

Woah man, fresh ice cream! Crazy flavors! Normal ones too! This place is the real deal. All their ice cream flavors are rich, complex, and utterly realistic. Most of the ice cream names are in Spanish. They let you try before you buy. My favorite flavors are Chongos (idk what kind of tasty magic they put in it, but I'm under its spell), and the orange one. Don't remember what it's called but it's the orange one that doesn't taste fruity. I'm sure if you ask for that description they'll know what you mean. They also have rose flavored ice cream, with little bits of petals in it. Tastes just like they smell...rosey. Definitely an experience and a delicious one at that. This is my favorite ice cream place in the whole wide world.

So good! I come here at least once a month for ice cream or chamango. I love the Popsicles too! Not too fond of the food, they should just get rid of that and just sell ice cream.

    Chamangos!
    Katherine O.

Chamango heaven! I had my first chamango in San Diego, where all Mexican food is truly authentic since it's steps away from the border. I never thought I would find anything like it here in Vegas, but La Flor de Michoacan proved me wrong. I tried it once before at the Boulevard Mall location, but I didn't like it there. Too much chamoy and the flavors were off. But I gave it another shot and tried this location, and I was surely impressed. It was muy deliciouso! They ask you what flavor ice cream you want, I opted for mango to be on the safe side. Then they top that with plenty of mango slices and drizzle chamoy and finish it off with some tajin. I'll be back next time to try their ice cream. They have flavors I've never seen in my life. Soursop?! I asked for a sample of it, I wasn't sure what it was, but it was pretty darn good. I saw pickled cabbage and salsa on a table and thought to myself, "they serve pupusas?!" Then I looked at the menu and saw that they not only serve pupusas, but more Salvadorian food. So this place is great for dinner & dessert.

    Chamangoes!
    Mica C.

I finally got to try the infamous chamango! I was a little nervous because I thought there might be a little but chamoy and I wouldn't be able to eat it, but that was def not the case. I took the first bite of the mango and it was delicious! To be on the safe side I got it with mango ice cream. It was a delicious dessert I would def come back for! Another plus? The service is super friendly! Good food and a good atmosphere, they def know what they're doing!

First stuff yourself next door at Momma Maria's With the best chili Verde in LV. Then take a swim in any ice cream concoction they have a picture of. It's all good! !

    Alex L.

Really horrible customer service. Mal servicio al cliente. They put the receipt on top of the corn, I asked to for an exchanged and the owner refused to exchange it. Even worse manager said they were closing at 9pm they kicked us out. You can see the time of the purchase on my receipt . So I left the whole corn out there and I left.

Awesome banana split and delicious tostilocos!

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

A simple frozen margarita was around $20, and the menu seemed pretty limited. I've since heard they're mostly known for their giant tortas, so maybe that's what they're best at. Sadly, the nostalgia wasn't enough to make up for the food, and I don't see myself coming back.
