No more spinach and artichoke dip was a disappointment for sure, but still had good appetizer options. Different menu, but had a lot of GF options! I was surprised and happy to see that they still have a dedicated fryer for GF so no cross-contamination! Fries were excellent! I got the ahi tuna bowl, and my friend got the Fish and Chips! Both meals were 10/10! Same patio seating was nice. The hostess sat a larger party right next to us, and the seating was a little cramped with a 5 top right next to our 2 top. Service was good and the seating area is comfortable and spacious. They have an outside dining area. My friend celebrated his birthday in the private room, and it was the perfect quiet space for our group of 10. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the California Burger with a side of broccoli--both were delicious! The private room is spacious and can comfortably accommodate two large groups at once. You're also welcome to bring your own cake, which is a nice touch. As a kind gesture, the restaurant brought out a slice of cheesecake for the birthday celebration, though we were surprised to see it added to the bill. It would have been even nicer if it were complimentary, but the thought was still appreciated. I didn't try any drinks this time, but I'll definitely be back to explore their beverage menu. Nice sports bar, spacious and can easily accommodate large groups. Food and service are pretty decent. The crab cake appetizer from the Mother's Day menu was very good. Very, very disappointing. For years, over many visits, this was one of my family's go-to restaurants where the menu was interesting, there were gluten-free options, the food was well-prepared, and reasonably priced. Recently, however, the last three times we've been there, the menu has changed and, most of all, the quality has nose-dived. The salmon I ordered was dry and tasteless. The"Garlic Broccoli" was overcooked and naked, with zero garlic. Sadly, we will not be going back - a big loss. read more

The server immediately took the burger away when we alerted her to it, and did not ask if we would like it remade. When we got the bill we were charged for the burger, and when I asked about this, the manager told me "well we remade it for you so we have to charge you." He had 2 bites of the new burger and would not have asked to have it remade, but again, we were not given the option. My friend and I had a good dinner at 730 Tavern. I ordered the Mexican Burrito Bowl, and it was flavorful and rich, and the portion was great - it was very filling. My friend ordered the Impossible Burger and said it was okay, but she really enjoyed her side of French Fries. She did not enjoy her mocktail as much, she said it was too sweet. I also have to praise the presentation of the food - it was all aesthetically pleasing. The restaurant itself has an elegant vibe, but the lighting is a bit too dark for my taste - I think it would be fitting for a date night though. We had a lovely lunch this past week and our waitress was excellent and attentive. We read the reviews and ordered the special which was the chicken bowl, that was flavorful, with cilantro, and a very good size portion. The only hurdle is having a conversation, with TVs everywhere very loud with various sports' events playing. The food was great and our waitress exceptional. There are tables just at the front of the restaurant that allows you to feel the nice breeze coming in. Lots of selections on the menu at reasonable prices, but after reading the reviews everyone suggested trying the specials. One of my go to places in central. Great place to watch a game, grab food and drink beer. Unless it's playoffs, it's easy to just walk in. I think theit food options are diverse (nachos to burgers to pasta) and pretty satisfactory. Their beer selection isn't bad, my go to is wachusetts blueberry. We took the T from one stop away to watch the final US Open round on Sunday and have a Fathers Day round of drinks. I'm glad we picked this spot!! We found a couple seats open at the bar, right in front of one of the TVs and they graciously put the Open on for us. The bartender was super attentive and the place was really busy (most watching the Sox game of course). I ordered the ahi tuna salad and hubby had a Turkey club sandwich. Everything was delivered very quickly and was super tasty! I always have a hard time finding good ahi, so was pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for a solid spot with a vast menu, you have to check out 730 Tavern and Kitchen. It is one of my go-to spots in Boston! They have a large menu with something for everyone. They have a vast selection of appetizers, flatbreads, crisp salads, sandwiches, and burgers. I have never gotten a thing here that wasn't phenomenal. The portions are very large. My personal favorite is the Reuben Sandwich with Truffle Tots! The sandwich is ginormous, plenty to split with another person. The Reuben comes piled high with juicy corned beef, melty Swiss, Thousand Island, & tangy Sauerkraut. The marble rye toasts well and holds up to the ingredients of the sandwich. We also are a huge fan of the California Burger. The burger is HUGE. The burger is topped with applewood smoked bacon, sriracha aioli, and avocado. They also have a solid selection of sides included with your sandwich or burger! You can pick from fries, tots, mashed potatoes, salad, rice, coleslaw, Brussels sprouts, grilled asparagus, and garlic broccoli. Our personal favorite is the Brussels Sprouts. They are phenomenal. My only complaints are burger temperature & take-out packaging. The burger was a bit over cooked, I ordered it medium rare. The truffle tots that came with the Reuben were a touch overdone. As for the to-go packaging, they really need to improve on that. They use the plastic containers which trap in the heat leading to soggy tots and a soggy sandwich or burger. I've heard good things about this place ( and it's always so full whenever I walk by ) but I'm sad to say this experience wasn't very positive so I'm hesitant to try it again. Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning and the place was packed. Our party of 4 was seated quickly nonetheless and the service was kind, but the food took so long to come out and overall wasn't very delicious so it felt disappointing when we did finally get to dig in. The mozzarella sticks were okay - the cheese felt very stiff but the sauce was okay. The bed of lettuce the sticks were on felt very lackluster - a dissatisfying touch. The eggs Benedict was all right as well - hollandaise wasn't bad and the mix of flavors with the potatoes and fruit salad was good as well. One of our party's food came out incorrectly ( wrong sandwich ) which only added to the poor experience. Waiting even longer to eat felt a little frustrating on top of everything else. Overall, I hope to come back for a non brunch meal and hopefully have a better meal. We'll have to see what happens next! read more

We came on St Patrick's Day and we were sat immediately without a reservation. They have a nice drink and food menu with a variety of options to fit everyone's tastes. Pretty decent overall. The food gets four or four and a half stars; the rib basket with fries was absolutely delicious and my Cobb salad was as well. My fiancé's steak bites and garlic broccoli was very good too. Our only complaints were about the service. Though the staff was nice they were a little mixed up; we had two or three different servers all try to take our orders and none of them were on the same page. The restaurant was closing early for a NYE party which was fine, but at the door they told us to be out by 9:30 and then later they came up to us and said to be out by 9:00. I ordered a hot tea which they asked if I wouldn't mind getting to go, but they put it in three plastic cups which later melted through and spilled on me on the walk home. I always come back for the Wisconsin cheese curds as I lived in WI for a few years and they are actually pretty good here! The cocktails are not spectacular. The appetizers were all solid, especially the potato skins and their wings. The beer prices were all reasonable for the 16 and 20oz options they had on draft and everyone that ordered a cocktail seemed to really enjoy their drinks. We asked for bottled water and he came back with tap water. When we asked for bottled water again it took several minutes for him to bring it to us, so we missed the window to order off the regular menu. We got the late-night menu instead and had the margherita flatbread, burger, and guacamole and chips. It was all mostly forgettable. I did enjoy the lively atmosphere.
