Steak and Cheese
Cyrus A.

I wish there were a dozen Parlor Sports in Cambridge, this place is fantastic. It's a cozy sports bar, so get there early to guarantee a seat before games! The drink selection is great, with lots of craft beers and cocktails. And the food is fantastic -- not just for a sports bar, but in general. I was really happy with the hot dog, and my friend's steak and cheese was lights out. I'm definitely going to try the nachos next time, they caught my eye every time they came out of the kitchen. Even with the great food, drinks, and ambiance, I think the best part of this place is the staff. Super friendly, they get to know names of repeat visitors, and they are incredible at their work. They've got a great thing going! Update 10/5/2019: fish tacos were FUEGO and the service continues to be outstanding. A solid crew here, and a solid business :)

Parlor Sports is the kind of gem you pray you stumble upon. It's incredibly unassuming from the outside and certainly won't draw you in with any sort of flashy signage. But if you're lucky enough to have someone take your there (as I was) or you decide roll the dice and head in on your own, you'll find one of Somerville's best sports bar. Parlor has all you need in a good sports bar along with a refined, tight knit, friendly atmosphere that is perfect for watching whatever game it is you're looking for. When it comes to staples of a good sports bar (TVs, beer, food) Parlor excels. There are plenty of TVs located around the bar and nary a bad seat in the house. A huge plus is that the bartenders actually appear to be sports fans and are incredibly responsive to requests for specific games. The menu is typical bar food during the week with a brunch menu on Sunday. I went with a burger when I decided to dine there and was not disappointed. When it comes to the beer selection, they have everything from the latest craft beer to High Life. Parlor is a great option for watching any sort of sporting event or if you just want a beer and a bite to eat. I've enjoyed my time there and plan on continuing to visit. Check it out when you get a chance.

Parlor is the best kind of sports bar... 1. There are TVs everywhere, EVEN in the toilets! 2. They have a gong (I mean, come on) 3. They play all sorts of competitive events (including such fare as the Bachelor) 4. They have a sick drink menu that's uncommonly delicious for a sports bar, along with plenty of local beers 5. They're friendly and unassuming All in all a great neighborhood spot that I highly recommend for watching the game, whatever that means to you. PS - they have corndogs!

OMG Mac and cheese with bacon and arugula.

But it was super clean and had a genuine, chill vibe. To my surprise, every single person there -- from the staff to the patrons -- was incredibly friendly and warm. It caught me off guard how kind and attentive everyone was. The service was EXCELLENT , and I'd easily give five stars for both cleanliness and hospitality. As for the food, it was okay. I ordered the calamari, and it was decent. I should have tried the spice bag because the folks seated next to us ordered it and it smelled delicious! The espresso martini was absolutely bomb, and everything coming out of that kitchen looked and smelled great. The service and atmosphere made the experience memorable. I could definitely see myself going back for a couple of drinks or to catch a game -- especially because it felt good to be treated with such genuine warmth in a space where I didn't necessarily expect it. I think our server was Samson, maybe, and someone else served us, I didn't get his name- but thanks for your hospitality.
