I came in and they wouldn't honor it because I had been there before, even though there aren't ANY restrictions or exclusions on their card. When I asked how I would've known that exclusion by looking at the card, the older woman with the dark hair didn't have an answer and said that they just leave those cards out; it was left over from the old owners. (Apparently, new ownership took over in November 2011). When I went to look for a tanning lotion, their selection was very limited and the woman and the young girl at the front desk were too busy talking to help me. When I brought up a lotion packet to the desk to pay for it, they told me that the one I chose was for after tanning, not before. I asked for help and they directed me to a basket they had at the front desk with lotions in small plastic containers, unlabeled, at $3 a cup. They assured me they were all good lotions and when I asked what they were, they both didn't know. Another small note, the old owners used to put a small plastic table-topper on the bed noting that it has been sterilized. New owners don't do that. Or maybe I just got a dirty bed?

Unfortunately, I recently had an uncomfortable experience with one of the employees (I'm not sure of her name, but she was petite and wore glasses). I came in specifically to use the P9S. Another customer was already ahead of me, which I completely understood. However, I was then told that someone else was next in line because they had just made an appointment--even though they weren't physically there yet and weren't expected to arrive for at least another 10 minutes. From a customer perspective, that didn't feel fair. I was already there and ready to tan, and it left me feeling like my time wasn't valued. When I expressed that, the employee responded with, "I'm sorry you feel that way," in a tone that came across as dismissive rather than understanding. I only come in for the P9S, so being offered a different bed wasn't really a solution for me. It was a disappointing experience because I've always enjoyed coming here, and I left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I'm hoping this was just an isolated incident because I've otherwise had great experiences over the years. I truly appreciate Dan and would love to continue supporting the business.
