The employee told him he would get fired for selling him tobacco. He is a successful black man and was rudely refused his purchase in front of other customers . He is well know for his kind, peaceful attitude and loved in this community. This is a classic case of racial prejudice. When I entered the store and approached the restrooms there were signs on the restrooms that indicated you needed to ask for a key. I approached the cashier and she looked at the clock and said it's after 8 PM and the rest rooms are closed and not available. I pulled up and noticed they were pretty busy, and started the process of entering in my data into the pump. A short time passed with attendants walking by without assisting me, so I began pumping myself since it appeared they were too busy to help. Once I did that, a young man decided to confront me about it and when I informed him I was trying to be helpful since they appeared busy - he scowled and began behaving like he was angry and became confrontational about the situation. He continued to press the issue with me, and then decided to pull the nozzle and tell me to leave. He then decided he would take a photo of my license plate and then proceeded to tell me to get my "beat up ass truck" out of there, and he was going to make sure I couldn't get gas there again. As I was trying to leave to he continued his harassment from across the station and at that point I took a photo of him which then triggered another employee to get involved and they both continued to attempt to intimidate me with a show of force. I will be sending the photo and this review to whomever operates that station. It's a bummer because I really like a few of the people who work there and have become friendly with them over the years.

I was so confused why this man was asking me for my card and what gas I wanted, but after he explained that he pumps the gas for me, It made sense. He was super friendly and helpful which is what prompted me to write this. That was such a weird, but nice experience. I figured it was an Oregon thing but the next two locations I stopped at, I had to pump the gas myself. So I very confused as to when I'm supposed to let someone pump the gas for me vs. me doing it myself. But overall, great service, cheaper prices than most of the other places I've driven through, and they pump it for you.

I quickly looked on my phone at my bank account and saw that a $50 charge had been declined just second before at the gas station I was getting gas at. He then went on to explain that a $100 hold was to be expected to be ok my card now. I questioned him why would that be, I'd never heard of such a hold on a debit card due to a decline at a cash station. I then asked why was there intact a $50 change attempt from him instead of $15. He denied trying to charge $50 and then asked if I tried the new burger joint across the way. Strange and very sketchy. Never have I had a bad experience prior or with any other employee at this gas station but I will be weary of this particular employee and choose another gas station when he is working. I will be returning another day to personally report this person so hopefully this mistake can be cleared up.

That is $29.99 @ month, so I've been charged a total of $179.94 for a service I canceled and can not use. If they respond quickly to me here or the message I left through their website, I will give a better updated review. Makes me so angry, I can't sleep and it is now past 1 AM. OK update, they called me back and told me that they will refund me all charges for the last 6 months. How is their car wash facility? It usually work well, but not great. Sometimes they don't always scrub manually with those brushes and may have to go through a 2nd time. I wish all the bugs would come off but that may be asking too much. The vacuums have pretty good suction and having an air nozzle to blow out nooks and crannies is something nice that not all car washes have.

After the carwash I walked back up to get my correct change and the attendant immediately said "no you handed me a $20". I told him I was sure I handed him a $50 and he said "no, I remember you handed me a $20". He wouldn't even check the drawer to be sure. On my way home I called the carwash and there was no answer. I called again about 10 minutes later and a woman answered. I explained the situation and she responded with "yes, he checked the drawer and found the $50". So I drove back across town to collect my change. I intended to give them the $9 back and get a full refund for my trouble, but the woman came out, handed me $30 and said "there you go. Have a nice day." Not even an apology. I will not be back after this experience.
