The next morning, he drove me 160 miles from Blythe to Scottsdale, where Land Rover said they could not take my car, and he was kind enough to wait for me to figure out my next option. Best towing service I have ever had. Our tow truck driver Thomas was awesome. My SUV broke down on my way back from Lake Havasu on the SR 177 @ 8pm on a Saturday night. One of the worst places you can possibly break down, so time is of an essence. We called AAA and the dispatcher was also very awesome. We gave her our info and location and she gave us an exact ETA when our driver would arrive. Our tow truck driver Thomas arrived right on the dot when our AAA dispatcher told us he would arrive. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the situation. I live all the way in Indio an 2 hours in the opposite direction from where we broke down. He drove my car all the way to my house and dropped it off right in my driveway where I requested. Thomas made a horrible situation very bearable. Thank you A TOE TRUCK. Car broke down outside of Blythe and called AAA. They said a tow company would respond within a few minutes and they did. Toe , yes it's called Toe, responded within 5 minutes of that and said tech would be arriving within 30 minutes. Within that time the tow truck driver showed up. Eddie was so thought full and worked quickly and professionally to get us to a safe area. He even called to see if he could take us 90 miles away. He did exactly what he said. If you are looking for a tow truck company, odds are you are already in an unpleasant situation and the prospect of having your vehicle towed in the middle of nowhere is somewhere on par with swallowing a glass of broken nails. When my BMW X5 broke down outside of Indio, CA recently, I had the opportunity to deal with not one, not two but THREE different tow companies to get my vehicle back to Phoenix, AZ. My experience with the other two companies was not entirely unpleasant but also wasn't anything to write a Yelp review about. It was pretty much exactly what you would expect from a tow company operating in the middle of the desert. It just so happened that AAA put me in touch with tow companies that couldn't do what A Toe Truck could which was tow a fully loaded up SUV, stuck in Park, 200 miles across state lines. My experience with A Toe Truck Towing and my driver, Eddie was above and beyond what I would expect from a tow company. The truck was well kept, up to date and blew cold a/c (not something that could be said of the other two companies.) What was really exceptional was my ride with Eddie. He made the experience much better then it could have been. Eddie is very knowledgeable and was just generally a really nice guy. A little friendly conversation goes a long way on a day where you have spent 14 hours trying to get home. I am very grateful to A Toe Truck Towing for being there to provide professional and courteous service to me in my time of need. And to the owner, I think a bump a in pay for Eddie is in order.... read more
