Tried to scam me. I went inside to let the teller know the credit machine wasn't working on Pump 7. He said I could pay inside. When I saw my receipt, he added a 50 cents fee for paying inside. I insisted he cancel it and moved my car back 6 feet to a working machine. Not only did he try to sneak the extra (albeit small) charge past me, I had gone inside to HELP by notifying him of an issue. I *HATE* this business and its owners. The customer service is HORRENDOUS; it actually doesn't exist. They don't let you use the restroom EVER. They lie and say it's out of order, but that "Not In Use" sign has been on the door there for months or over a year. The owner *just* told me, "sorry, no public restrooms," which probably means that he lied for so long about the restroom not working, that he felt he had to change his story. They charge you a fee for using credit/debit cards, which just makes me CRINGE. I could understand if they charged a fee for using American Express, which charges businesses a higher fee, but this place charges you even for debit cards, which I truly believe does NOT charge the business a fee--they're just greedy and selfish. They charge 35 cents for any purchase under $3. I know that's a nominal fee and why should anyone care, but why nickel-and-dime your customers? Why PUNISH your patrons for their BUSINESS? EVEN if the business gets charged for debit purchases (which I doubt), their products are priced so much higher than cost, they're STILL making a profit! The ONLY reason why I come here is to charge my car, which averages about 45 minutes a visit. I used to go in all the time to try and use the restroom and buy a drink or snack, but now I've completely stopped. The same owner I've dealt with in every visit is pretty awful. He doesn't give a shit about the people who give him business and keep him and his family afloat. He just wants you to spend money and get out. So I go to the gas station today and I'd buy a $.99 Arizona tea. The cashier he was on the phone taking a personal call. So I pay for the Arizona which I'm thinking is $.99 because the canned says $.99. My receipt says a $1.10 and the guy charges me twice for CRV. Then before I I bought my ice tea I was in there 20 minutes earlier filling up my van. So I come in a second time asking to use the bathroom and he states it's for customers only. I look at him and was like man I was here 20min ago and you help me out. I don't understand their pricing (inflation) and to be on the phone ringing me up and being rude is f up. The most ridiculous customer service. My tire was almost FLAT, I asked for the air in the nicest way. The cashier said specifically "No. I can't, the owner is strict." I even asked if I could buy something to get cash back, he continued "if you don't have that small of cash you cannot use the air. This location is convenient, but the gas pricing is higher than average, and the convenient store is astronomically higher than most places. Typically an energy drink will run at two dollars each, or special if you buy two it's 350 or four dollars. At this location they are three dollars each. They don't care about the LAW or human decency. Attendant informed me that to put air in my tires there was a fee unless I was a customer. I requested to pay for $2 of gas. Attendant said "no" and then said there was a minimum purchase of 10 dollars for free air. When I questioned the legality of this he said "maybe 5 maybe 10" but wouldn't give me free air for less. The biggest damn scam I have seen. Rented a truck from UHaul and was asked if I had parked on the street. I said I would but I parked in back. He said no problem. I then DOUBLE CHECKED with the "manager" on duty at the 76 station. He said fine. Bought a drink and headed out. Came back put $9 in the Uhaul truck and then noticed my car had been towed. I was furious as the CREEP named Sayed didn't respond to my question of why he had my car towed after he said it was fine. IT IS A SCAM. He called the tow people almost as soon as I had left the first time. He started yelling racist outside trying to attract attention. (This is two days after the San Bernardino massacre). I retrieved my car from the tow yard ($223). They are in the scam too. No doubt there is a "kick back" here. Really, really a bad place. read more
