I also found out that it was buy one and get one free when she was researching for the product on the Walgreen website. I had to shop for other items so Lucia took the vitamins to the register for safe keeping. My mobility is compromised so I really appreciate the extra help. Lucia's kindness makes me want to make this Walgreen as my go to store. She really gave me concierge quality service and thoughtfulness. 5 stars to Lucia!

With the Rite Aid having closed, I'm sure they are getting slammed with more work and on top have to deal with corporate demands. The Pharmacists is always helpful in making sure we know how to take our meds and the techs are great and very patient‼ I do dislike longer wait times in the drive thru or inside but everyone is seen working diligently. What more could we expect.

I didn't count the change until I got in the car & glad I asked for a receipt. I was shorted a small amount but still shorted. I went back after running my errand & explained. Another person was at the register but the original guy could hear me. They didn't put up too much of a height that I did have to explain the situation a couple times. However, the second guy still do not give me back the correct amount! Just beware and count your change carefully before leaving the counter. Well I guess that should be anywhere, but I can't imagine how much extra money they make on the side if they do this to every customer coming into their store paying with cash.

They do offer the generic soba noodle brands that you see in every grocery store. The store itself is kind of a large size; it's the size of a little restaurant. Bigger than a gas station snack stop I'd say.

Another thing that I don't like that I have noticed is why is it that there are no prices marked on the items? Every time I have to go and ask the cashier or someone to find out the price of a certain item. Take the time people and please mark the prices on the products. It will be very helpful!! And give out an itemized receipt with your purchase without being asked. If I wasn't a regular customer and didn't know Tony, Doris, Thirteen,Eddy, Jeff and Pablo, I would have given them 3 stars. From picking up medication, to dropping off prescriptions, consulting information pertaining to any type of medication, or issues/allergies, side affects. They are hands on and SPOT ON! They will even get in contact by calling or emailing your doctor within minutes. I can't mention any particular staff member, since they are ALL SO GREAT!! I even got flu/shingles shots and they work like a PRO! They are fast, quick, nice, patient, helpful,professional,efficient, courteous, and they all work hard to satisfy everybody's needs. There is always a long line, but their fully stocked employees clear that line in less than 15 minutes. They almost have all medications/vaccines on their shelves; most of the time. I mean you are dealing with people's health. Their automated service is prompt, messages are returned on timely manner, transactions are always completed w/out any glitches. Check. I get alerted when it's ready for pick up. Check. I always take advantage of their free delivery, which is great. I've been having these three prescriptions delivered for a year now without a problem. So, I go to my CVS account online to schedule the delivery. But for the first time, it says I have to talk to a pharmacist about one of them and answer some questions, after which they can deliver. Check. I call. After a few minutes on hold, I get some young woman who sounds like she's fifteen. Check. I said what questions do you have. She says something that makes no sense to me, but I answer all her questions and there were a lot. Check. Mind you, I have never had to answer questions before. Check. She verifies my address and says it will be delivered today. Fine. I ask if there's a window of delivery time, which there always is, as you have to be here to accept the delivery. She gets very irritated and nothing she's saying is making sense to me. Check. I finally get so frustrated that I say, "I'm speaking English here - I know I have to be here for the delivery and am just looking for a window - I've done this many times." Click. She hangs up on me. Check. I get a text saying they have my order and there's a link so I figure my time window will be there. But it wants a code they say is in an email they've sent. No email was sent. Check. So, I just figure it will show up when it shows up or I'll call in the morning. So, I'm about to go to bed when I decide to check on the original link I was sent. And what do I find? This young person has totally and obviously on purpose changed me to a shipment, meaning they mail it and I don't get it until Saturday. Not acceptable. It's two-thirty in the morning at this point - this store is twenty-four hours. So, I call. No one answers - for fifteen minutes. I call and get someone from the front of store and she informs me they're on their lunch break for thirty-five minutes. I decide to drive over there and just pick it up and so I can tell someone what happened. I get there. They're on their lunch until three-thirty. I decide to wait. I'm then told that their system is updating and won't be finished until four-thirty. I still wait. They finally open a window - well, "they" being one newbie who just started to work there. I tell him what happened - he's new - he hasn't a clue as to what I'm going on about. I tell him I just either want to pick it up now or have it delivered but the system is down and there's nothing he can do about it. I will remind at this point that we're talking about MEDICATION here. That someone needs. I may call over there in twenty minutes to see if their system has updated and if he can stop the shipment and deliver. At this point, if they can't stop the shipment they're gonna just have to do it all over again and deliver or, I suppose, I'll drive over there. I wrote a five-star review and noted that all the one-star reviews, of which there are MANY, seemed to be about the pharmacy there. Again, usually I set up the delivery online so I don't deal with them - very simple and works efficiently. But the young jerk who hung up on me? And then changed everything in the system to totally screw up everything on purpose. I don't wish anyone ill, but she should be fired. Sadly, as is obvious, no one from corporate OR this branch of CVS reads the comments. I'll do another update when all this is resolved. EDIT: I finally got someone on the phone at nine the next morning - she was appalled at what happened, cancelled the to be shipped order, scheduled the free delivery order, which arrived thirty minutes later. Thank heaven for a professional. Turns out she knew exactly who'd been the initial problem as they had two pharmacists out and had to bring in two new people. I don't like to get people in trouble, but if you're clearly out of your league, just get someone who knows how it works. I suspect she'll at least be talked to and since they record all calls I suggested they just listen to the call.

He quickly wanted to dismiss my request without even reading it all the way. He didn't want to read it period. Lazy and not helpful at all. I was not asking you to put in any numbers, simply read the instructions on the coupon and follow the prompts, but since you saw a line forming, you decided to dismiss it by saying "it doesn't work" I was annoyed and i wanted to get out of there rather than deal with a lazy worker.

I needed gas. Had passed a few places in the area and thought I could do better. Coldwater Chevron had decent prices. Had to go inside to use the credit card. Ask me how much I wanted. How I am supposed to know, I want it full, whatever that takes. They made me pick a dollar amount, and swore it would be refunded if I didn't use the full amount. I start pumping the gas, and notice per gallon rate is about 60 cents higher than the display board 30 feet in the air. In real small letters at the pump it said that is the rate with the purchase of a certain level of car wash. A complete bait and switch scam. I've never seen that before. read more

I very much need to leave a review about one of the employees working here at this Rocket Center…read morenamed Robert. I've been in retail for over 32 years and I've trained almost 4000 employees. I know that retaining employees of high caliber and promoting the highest value employees depends most heavily upon their character. Robert's professionalism and dedication to efficiency was evident during our short transaction whereby he made the most timely efficient decisions to correct the price of the engine oil even though it was only a difference of 1.40. He made amends to the transaction politely, swiftly and professionally above and beyond the call of service. However this isn't where the story ends with this exceptional individual. I shortly noticed that I lost $200 cash when I went to deposit it and realized that I'd lost it between stopping at Robert's store and the bank. I immediately called the store asking for Robert as I luckily had made note of his name and divulged to him the fact that I had lost the money in or around the store. This was in the hopes that in the incredibly off chance that it could be found, and that by some miracle the person that had shown such an incredible degree of professionalism would ALSO be of the highest quality and caliber and most importantly would also have a noble enough character to embody the constitutional wherewithal to return it to me. I was in luck Robert - is and was THAT individual. I offered to buy him anything I could to show him my appreciation but he very stoically and politely declined attesting that he was just happy that he could help. As stated earlier, I've trained THOUSANDS of employees and I can't tell you how rare the type of individual Robert is. I hope with all of my heart that ROCKET sees fit to promote reward and keep this individual as I'm here to attest that he will rise to a level befitting the character and discipline that he exudes. The entrances are usually a breeze depending on the time of day and rarely are all pumps full. My favorite thing about this 76 is the convenience store. I always get the warmest and friendly attendants and find some great snacks or liquid fuel (body armor, G2 Gatorade, etc). They definitely cater to the area with good fruit, prepackaged meals/bites and a ton of vegan and gluten free options. The have some outstanding health and safety practices in play at the Ventura Blvd/Van Nuys Blvd 76, easy to see why they do well.
