Unfortunately, the only station I found was probably the one charging the highest gas prices in the area. I had no choice at that point. The station was clean, but the gas pump handle I used had gum on it. I have no idea why someone would place their gum on the handle other than to be a jerk! Do not purchase the monthly car wash! I regret to say that I signed up for the monthly car wash over a year ago and I have never been able to use it! The only way to be able to use it is to show them your bank statement. I put it on a card where I do not have access to the bank statement and I wish they had told me that before I signed up for it. And it's nearly impossible to even cancel every time I go they say that the owner needs to be there and it's during the daytime while I am working. I would never go here for gas, the prices are ridiculous, but I went for a car wash and when the guy came to help me get my card in the slot he tried three times to get me to choose the highest priced wash, which I didn't want. When the car came out the superficial dirt was gone, but it left a layer of gritty dust and one of the brushes scratched up the paint on my trunk. I'm going to have to rewash it myself tomorrow to actually get it clean. If you have a nice car, don't risk your paint job at this place! read more

Unethical business - avoid at all costs. There was a small accident that took place outside of the station. Insurance suggested I get a hold of video footage from the cameras. When asked to obtain 30 seconds of video footage the site manager requested $500 CASH - in his words "as per corporate policy". They would not even attempt to check and see if the video footage was viewable! As a privately owned business, they are welcome to share their camera footage for a fee but this was distortion and a way to blame the Chevron corporation. Beware. This gas station on Coldwater and Riverside is sneaky. They have 2 prices here. The big signage will show 1 price to lure you in, but this turns out to be the price if you pay cash. Credit card price is $.10/gallon higher. I went inside to question the mis-leading signage and the cashier points out there is a smaller sign on the ground which shows the 2 different prices (cash or credit). Since it is located right off the freeway, it is convenient but they take advantage of that and the prices reflect it. They do have a food mart, so got can grab some snacks inside. They do accept the vons discount, but that has to be put in forest before you lost with your card. There is a discount for chevron cards and cash as most gas stations these days. I usually found that the chevron on ventura and van nuys is cheaper, so I would wait a few more exits of it was you. :) read more

In short, this is the WORST gas station that I've been to in my entire life. The staff, particularly a brute by the name of AU, was unconscionably rude and nasty when I entered the station. Throughout my transaction he was antagonizing to the point of being malicious and I could not get out of that place fast enough to separate myself from that jerk. On Christmas day 2015 the clerk would not let my 60 year old mother use the restroom. I pulled out right in front to buy gas at the pump she went in because she really needed the restroom. He stopped her and said she could not use it until she bought something. She said she would buy something (even though we were already buying gas) but was uncomfortable and needed to use the restroom first. He would not let her and she came back to me very upset so we left. So this guy was mean to an older woman on christmas day... I recommend going to Shell across the street. If I could give them less than one star I would. I stopped there Tuesday, August 5, about 7:45 after a long road trip. I went to the ladies room first before filling my gas guzzling SUV at the pump. When I came out of their filthy bathroom, two of the employees YELLED at me that the bathroom was for paying customers only. I counted the exact amount of money I was pre-paying twice ($57) before handing it to the cashier through the deposit drawer since it was late at night. The pump stopped at $50 so I went back to the cashier to get change thinking the tank had just filled up. He insisted that I had only given him $50 and turned into a belligerent asshole about it shouting at me and telling me to "go on and complain to corporate." I agree with everyone else that this gas station is pretty shady where they advertise a lower cash only price but then when you want to use a credit card they jack it up by 10+ cents. Due to that reason I've stopped coming here. I now visit other gas stations that are more honest and aren't trying to nickel and dime every cent from you. The convenience store is decent but pretty overpriced. Sometimes they have a sale on redbull or rockstar but that's about it. read more
