First time here. Nice initial welcome by Enyo! However, we ended up waiting 20+ minutes for our food while we watched them from our car serve 4 customers that arrived well after us (did not looked like pre-ordered) . That did not make us feel appreciated. The food was good though. Their rice & beans with Carne Frita is tasty. The Mofongo with Shrimps and Octopus is also good, as well as the Alcapurria and Pastelillo de Pizza. Parcha (passion fruit) and Lemonade are OK. Good parking but essentially no place to hide from scorching sun. read more

For Father's Day, my wife asked me where I wanted to eat for dinner, and I chose one of my favorite Latino food trucks, 787 Mofongo. I tried their Bistec Encebollado with white rice and beans, and my wife chose the Pechuga de Pollo with white rice, beans, and tostones. 787 was a nice treat while we waited for my wife's car to get serviced. I got the Carne Frita Encebollada (Fried Pork with Onions) with a side of mofongo. I recommend both. I'm used to mofongo being bland, but this had plenty of flavor. The pork was a bit on the firm side, but it still tasted really good. I think I'll give the Pernil sandwich and Tostones a try next time. read more

We had driven past here multiple and times and today we finally decided to stop. We weren't trying to eat a lot so we decided to share a chicken mofongo! The dish came out so quick like in less then 5 minutes and it was nice and hot, juicy and full of chicken with it still only being $11. They have some outdoor seating which is perfect with this weather we currently are having. You can also take your food to go! I wish I had taken pictures but after many afternoons ordering from this place, it has come to an end. Today, I ordered Mofongo with Carne Frita and when I took a chunk of the mofongo with my fork there was a dead fly inside. Yes, a dead fly (mosca). To me and my family, this is the best Puerto Rican food around but a fly (mosca) in your food is out of the question. I guess the open kitchen at the truck is allowing uninvited guests. My family and I LOOOOVE this place. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Puerto Rican food check them out. I can't even count how many times my parents and I have been here, it never disappoints. Their menu has a variety of meals including rice, beans, meats (chicken, steak, etc), sandwiches, desserts and so many other delicious things. My favorite item on the menu is mofongo with shrimp, it's amazing. This time I ordered a beef steak sandwich and it was great, it had lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and onions on it. The sandwich comes with two halves and one is more than enough especially because it comes with a side of fries, extremely filling. I also ordered dessert; I ordered a tres leches and it was incredible! My family members ordered flan, rice, beans, chicken, with a side of tostones - they loved their food as well. Being a mofongo fan [this is my blog name also] I was thrilled to see this truck parked near to my sister's house where I was visiting. We love our mofongo in Connecticut where some of the best is found outside of Puerto Rico. I wanted to introduce her to mofongo because that's what I am always talking about. Mistake. This did not even rate up there at all. The service was good, the setting great, the menu fine...but the mofongo just didn't make it and the churrasco was very tough. We love food trucks & we love Puerto Rican food so we were doubly glad that we could order our dinner from here via Uber Eats. We had Chicharrones de Pollo, mofongo relleno de pulpo, papas fritas, corn fritters & arroz con habichuelas. All were quite good with the (sweet potato) mofongo being HUGE, excellent & the lime on the side added a good balance of flavor to the delicious octopus. In fact, all the portions were generous & filling. The chicken had just the right amount of crunch on the outside & was perfectly seasoned on the inside. On the other hand, the corn fritters were bland & the accompanying Russian-style dressing overpowered whatever corn flavor there was to them. We hope that the next time we travel to Orlando that COVID will have become a bad dream and we, instead, can eat at one of the picnic tables. read more

So this was me and my fiancées first time and very excited to try. Unfortunately, it did disappoint, hopefully the review reaches owners to only improve. We ordered the Mofongo with churrasco and mofongo with bistec with onions, alcapurria and passion fruit juice. All priced at $48. The biggest disappointment was the $18 meal of churrasco... there was no churrasco sauce which is the point of eating that meat and the meat was bland, no flavor and medium rare almost raw. We were never asked how we wanted the meat. The mofongo was a little dry, not the best, which I was looking forward to because the name 787 mofongo....the bistec with onions to me was good, not the best, but it was good and that was $16. The alcapurria was very good, I have to give them credit for that. That was worth the $3.95...the drink was horrible. Overall, if I come back it would be for the alcapurria only unfortunately. The steak was cooked well done, which I appreciated, but I didn't like the way it tasted. I think it was probably just the type steak used. The mofongo was good enough to order again though. I am always on the lookout for good mofongo in Orlando. Before tonight I had been striking out. Fortunately I found 787 Mofongo. I placed an order online and drove over to pick it up. I would say it took about 20 or 25 minutes from the time I ordered it to the time it was ready. When I got my food the guy at the truck offered me some sauces. I picked chimichurri and it was excellent. The mofongo itself was also very good. My only complaint is they don't have an English menu online or at the truck, just Spanish. That made ordering online difficult. The guy at the truck spoke English and was happy to help me with any questions I had. read more

I tried their food for the first time a few weeks ago.... The wait was a bit long but I guess since they make things to order it will make some sense. Will also consider ordering ahead better. Now, I wasn't sure what to order but I went for a beef steak sandwich with tostones and their alcapurria. The alcapurria was huge and a good portion for the price but I could barely taste nor see any meat in it, it was like eating masa by itself. The sandwich, although really big only tasted like mayo ketchup or whatever sauce they put in it and it wasn't toasted or anything (which i thought would be because of a picture they have by the menu) I should have asked what they put in the sandwich cuz the sauce definitely threw me off. The winner of the night was the side of tostones for sure. It was a great portion and DELICIOSOS! I didnt even need sauce to eat them. Solid food options if you're looking for Latin on-the-go. My wife and I each ordered our own meal, but we really didn't have to. Both the Tripleta sandwich and Chicken Stuffed Mofongo, once you factor in the sides, were enough to feed at least 2-3 more people. This is actually a good thing if you want a tasty meal on the cheap. My sandwich was a tad salty, but I know this is common in some of the Puerto Rican foods I've had previously. No biggie.
