Finally a truly authentic, delicious and reasonable PuertoRican restaurant. Service by Janelys was caring and professional. The Alcapurria de Jueyes was exceptional. Huge and very tasty Mofongo Mariscos (lots of seafood), and plentiful Mamposteao de Gandules. We washed it down with genuine Parcha and Tamarindo natural juices for a delightful lunch. The music inside is good, but a bit too loud though. We ate again at home due to the huge portions. Will be back here many times.

Hands down! They can cook! Food is very good. Unfortunately, my complaint about the rice coming out lukewarm vs hot was the same experience. Someone please get the memo- we want all our food hot. I had the avocado relleno de camarones (shrimp) in Criolla sauce. My wife had pollo relleno de arroz. Very delicious. However my wife's dish came with cheese on top. Not a fan and we didn't ask for the cheese. When we get the bill- they charged for the cheese, which we didn't ask for. They charged for the shrimp in criolla sauce. Who charges for the sauce being extra? That's a typical dish that most Latino establishments wouldn't charge. If you're not careful they will slip extra costs in. They will automatically charge you and if you're not paying attention you be paying more than what you should. Sadly, they won't even give tap water. You have to buy bottle water! Why? I have no idea but they won't give you water! Now for a lot of people they won't complain because they aren't paying attention or already planning to pay more no matter what. But some of their policies and perhaps workers should be working in integrity. If it's going to cost extra - say it from the beginning.

I can say enough good things about the food but Ivan was awesome. excellent service. We was always very attentive and professional

Where do I even begin with Casa Vieja. La comida es riquísima! So pure in the Puerto Rican culture. I felt like I'm with family. They had live entertainment. Of course there was a little bit of a wait but it was worth it. I never mind waiting for amazing food. The restaurant was decorated with items true to our culture and was decorated like San Juan. All of their employees were extremely nice and welcoming. The food did take quite a bit to come out. If you don't mind waiting for food then this would be the place for you. Both of our meals was pure in flavor. Since we came on Father's Day it was so cute to see all the fathers dancing and singing with the dj. I absolutely can't wait to go again. Also before I forget the parking gets packed, but they have people directing you on where to park!

This is my second time here and the food does not disappoint. The flavor, seasoning is truly taste like home. I have recommended this place several times and when people go based off my recommendation it's always a thank you. Keep in mind everything is cooked after ordering so it may take some time for the food to come out and if it's busy it will take longer but I promise worth the wait. I do feel the waitress could be a little more attentive. The environment is amazing especially if you love the feel of feeling like you're in Puerto Rico.

Casa Vieja could be so great! It was super busy when we decided to check it out, but thankfully we did find parking. It was super loud inside with the music blasting which made speaking with the hostess challenging, especially with a language barrier. Eventually we were seated outside at a picnic table with a small umbrella that did not provide much shade and it was pretty toasty out. We definitely got thirsty pretty quick sweating in the sun. We had to wait quite awhile before anyone came to help us. We admitted most of us spoke only English and thankfully we had my brother in law who speaks Spanish because all servers prefer Spanish. We ordered some drinks and it took awhile before the drinks came out and they were definitely watered down. At that point, we were ready to order food and went with this huge fried platter to split between us all. The food took some time but we did not see our server again until the food was ready and we were able to order more watered down drinks. I know staff shortages are a thing so I understand but it was still a little much and it did seem that other tables were being tended but not ours. The platter was huge. It was plenty of food for the 5 of us! It came with 2 types of fries, yuca fries, chicken wings, tostones and sausages. Probably more carbs that anything else but it was a good amount of food. The quality was ok... most of the fried items seemed a little cold and and could use a little fresh fry. Loved all of the sauces it came with though! Overall, giving 3 stars for average drinks and food and less than great service.

This spot is one of the best culinary experience's I've had. They serve Puertorican cuisine and everything that was served was top notch and exceeded our expectations . The service was incredible. Our waitress (Isabel or Isabela ) was kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable of the menu. If you ever go there ask for her. I found this place because of a YouTube content creator called "boricua foodie" I will trust every reccomendation he ever gives.

I kept following and seeing the posts for this restaurant online so i decided to' invite my co workers and soldiers then on taco Tuesday because of a WhatsApp community message I received earlier in the day that they were offering $2.50 tacos. When we got there we were greeted right away and sat in a table. We ordered drinks and they were very eatery mentioned that to the server, she didn't say anything about it. Asked for the taco special that they had announced on their social media, through the WhatsApp community and outside and she said they didn't have any tortillas to make the tacos because they were busy on the weekend and they haven't had any since yesterday. How can a restaurant run a "special " and then not offer it. As a business owner anytime I ran out of anything at my restaurant I have to go and buy it and make sure it's available for the customer not only use an excuse that is not offered. We ended up ordering mofongo con carne frita, mamposteado and chicharrones de pollo. The food took forever to come out like 45 minutes. There was only like 3 tables in the restaurant. We asked about the status of food and they said they had issues with the computer system. Then they brought out half of the food and they said because of the issues the kitchen didn't received the other half of the order. After another 20 mins they brought out the rest of the food, didn't even apologized or offer any type of compensation for their delay. Food tasted good but I will be scared of going back or recommending the restaurant to anyone because of the wait and the bait and a switch of daily specials. How can they announce daily specials and not have them available.

Churasco , yellow rice & beans , shrimp inside of an avocado . And a side salad. This dish was $35

A lot of love was put into cooking all the food, just like going to your grandma's house for gathering. As for the staff, they make sure you get a generous portion on the food you picked. It's your fault if you leave hungry. We'll definitely be back when we're on the area.

Their service is great and fast, but more importantly their food is mouth watering good. It always leaves me with a craving to come back and a full stomach ready to tackle the rest of my workday. My favorites have consisted of a Cuban sandwich which is full of pork and sauce and toasted nicely. It also does not fall apart when eating which is a plus when you are trying to stay looking presentable. Their pork is amazingly juicy and just falls apart in your mouth and has been worth every stain I have accidentally caused on my dress shirts. The white rice is fluffy and simple and good but their yellow rice is much better with many items. Their chicharron de cerdo is crispy and breaks easy and it's never been hard or chewy. Their ropa vieja is also delicious and I can't help but devour the entire plate. The rice and beans paired real good with this! My favorite sides have been the avocado salad and their macaroni salad! Both very light and balanced well with light citrus flavors in the avocado salad. I'll keep coming back here because the food honestly reminds me of so many great dishes my family use to make at home and after eating at so many places around Orlando I had yet to find a better place to get Spanish food like this!

A disaster. Not Recommended for Large Groups…read more We made a reservation for 15 people and called ahead. They asked for a $10 per person deposit ($150 total), which we paid without complaint. My wife even got the name of the person who took the reservation--Josymar--who was actually really nice on the phone. Too bad that was the last nice thing about this experience. When we showed up, the greeter acted like they had no idea about any reservation. No tables were ready, and the whole vibe was "ugh, a big group." You could just feel the annoyance rolling off them. Our server, Stephanie, was an absolute mess. She was scattered, had this bar-attitude energy, and seemed completely uninformed. Here's just one example: we ordered appetizers that took forever to come out. When they finally arrived, one was missing. By the time the main dishes started showing up, we told her to cancel the empanadas. Her response? "Sorry, I can't cancel them now--the kitchen might already be working on them." Really? We had to push back and told her we were not going to eat it. We also ordered the Mofongo with Churrasco and specifically asked for the garlic sauce on the side (which, by the way, doesn't even taste like garlic). She flat-out refused and said the sauce had to come on top. No flexibility whatsoever. Pretty much everything came out cold--appetizers, sushi, you name it. We constantly had to chase her down for drink refills. Eventually we'd had enough and asked for the manager. Amanda came over and was polite, but she basically defended all the screw-ups. The only person who actually helped us was José, a server in training who wasn't even assigned to our table. He went out of his way to bring food and drinks while everyone else seemed checked out. The appetizers were a total rip-off too. They push an "upgrade" to add pork chunks, but it's really just fatty, chewy bits that were cold and unappetizing. Oh, and they only allow 3 checks for the whole group, with just one server for 15 people. Of course they add the automatic 20% gratuity for big parties--so why bother trying when the money's already guaranteed? This was hands-down the worst service we've had in years. Complete disaster. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else if you've got more than a few people.

When you walk up to the truck you are greeted by the friendly workers who advise you to place your order on the screen and if you need assistance they are more than happy to help. Once your order is placed they will send you a text message when it's ready. They do have a little canopy area with tables and seating, but it's so hot to be outside I opted to wait and eat in my car. We waited about 30 minutes before receiving our food and once we received it you could tell everything was freshly made. We ordered a combo that came with 2 pinchos, 2 pieces of bread, 2 orders of loaded fries,2 mofongo balls. And 2 drinks. The pincho meat is big meaty chunks and well seasoned. These were some of the biggest pinchos I've found in Orlando and the price was really reasonable. The loaded fries were ok, just typical fries with bacon and cheese. These mofongo balls had good seasoning, they weren't dry at all, and the perfect portion. The garlic bread was good as well and was soft. Overall everything was great! The seasoning on all the food was perfect, the portions were more than enough, and the prices extremely reasonable. The only negative I have to say is that it took long for us to receive the food but everything was freshly made and I appreciate all the hard work they do during the extremely hot fl summer.

The restaurant itself is beautiful inside with great vibes and a nice atmosphere. Our first visit was mostly good, but I would not recommend the tripleta. All you taste is the burnt tortilla, and it wasn't like a typical tripleta sandwich. The second time we went was for a graduation celebration, and sadly most of the food was a miss. The grilled chicken and sauces were especially disappointing--expensive, bland, and not something I'd order again. The drinks were also disappointing and tasted more like sugary syrup than actual cocktails or fresh drinks. We chalked it up to maybe being an off day. That being said, we also ordered catering for the graduation before the unfortunate dinner, and the catering was amazing. We ordered pernil, leg porchetta, arroz con gandules, and roasted whole chicken. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well done with no complaints at all. I just wish the dine-in experience matched the catering and food truck experience better. Overall, I would still recommend Crocante because when they're good, they're really good. The service was okay, nothing special, but not bad either. The space is beautiful, the vibes are great, and some items are definitely worth trying.

I'll be transparent..we spent about $80 for the two of us, and it was absolutely worth it. I was hoping I wouldn't be disappointed, and they truly delivered. We started with the fried cheese bites with guava sauce, and wow... what a perfect opener. The outside had this delicate crisp, the inside was warm and creamy, and the guava sauce added that perfect sweet‑salty balance without feeling heavy. It tasted like the kind of appetizer you savor slowly because you don't want it to end. It set the tone beautifully for the rest of the meal. My mom ordered the passion fruit juice, and the moment she took a sip, she looked at me like she'd been transported straight back to Puerto Rico. It was bright, refreshing, a little sour, and so full of flavor, not watered down, not overly sweet, just pure passion fruit goodness. It honestly made me nostalgic too, the way certain flavors can bring you home. For my entrée, I ordered the grilled chicken with a small mofongo on the side, and it was incredible. The chicken was juicy and tender which is rare because most places overcook it and it had this beautiful herb flavor from the peppers and cilantro. You could taste the freshness in every bite. The mofongo was smooth, garlicky, and perfectly seasoned. I've had a lot of mofongo in my life, and this one is easily one of the top. It had that perfect balance of texture and flavor that makes you want to keep going back for another bite. My mom ordered the mofongo with shrimp, and the shrimp were huge, plump, and juicy ..not rubbery or overcooked. The sauce tied everything together so well, and every bite felt like a memory of being back on the island. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The wait was long, but honestly, it was worth it. Our server was attentive without rushing us, checked in at the right moments, and let us enjoy our meal at our own pace. The whole experience felt intentional and warm. If you're craving authentic Puerto Rican flavors that make you feel at home, this place is it. I would definitely come back. And next time, I'm trying even more from their menu.
