I highly recommend 7B! We had a very short notice local move and Maurice was able to round up an excellent crew for us! Taylor, Travis and Ryan were on time, extremely careful, professional and good natured, despite the long hours, heavy lifting (upstairs laundry room, grand piano & 8 ft solid wood table) and my own tendency to be 'overly helpful' in a way that is probably more annoying than anything. They kept their smiles and their good humor until the very end. They were also very conscientious, pointing out a broken foot on a cheap Amazon dresser that I'm certain was broken for years. Nonetheless, they weren't about to try and conceal the potential mishap. Owner, Maurice is a really standup guy whose integrity is his top priority and it shows. as a local to Sandpoint born and raised here I was really excited to use this company for my local move. I'm really sad to report that this has been a really awful experience. First they were 30 minutes late to showing up. They were in such a rush to get done for the day that they broke two pieces of my furniture. Their truck got stuck in my landlord's yard making big holes in the yard that have to be fixed. When I wrote an email I got zero response when I called and spoke to the owner. He said that he wanted to make things right but has yet to do so. I have not heard a word after our last communication two days ago to say that I'm disappointment is an understatement. I highly do not recommend this company and I will be sure to mention that to anyone asking. I would've had a better luck with high school kids and it would've been much cheaper. I have used 7B movers many times, and was always happy ,but NO MORE! The company has been sold and is under new management. Hired them last week. They showed up at 9:30 am and did a small moving job for me. They were done at 11:30. When done they told me I owed them for 3 1/2 hours of work. I said you arrived at 9:30 and worked 11:30 that's only 2 hours. He said my assistant started at 8 am and you owe us for the time we left our warehouse this morning. So they said it took them 1 1/2 hours to drive to my house. It was a local move and my home is less than 10 miles from them. So they charged me $175 an hour for 3 1/2 hours, $612.50 for 2 hours of work. I paid it, but they lost a repeat customer who has used them exclusively for the past 3 years. I will never call them again!! read more

Ian and Kai have done an outstanding job! We were moving furnitures from an apartment and a large storage unit into a 5BR house, and had a few very heavy and delicate pieces. The entire job took 7.5 hours from arrival to departure. They arrived on time, were very skillful in handling furnitures, took extra care in every piece they handled as if they were their own, and were extremely efficient in re-assembling them. Ian brought with him previous experience (and tools) from furnitures industry and fixed many problems caused by previous movers. When they left, the new place already felt like home! What happened? It started out so good abs ended very BAD. On day of our move a text was sent saying the lift on the truck broke. They could get everything but our safes, which was always part of the move. So we had them move everything else. Crew arrived early, were professional, and respectful of our belongings. Delivered to new house in a timely manner. They did everything right. Ian said he'd call the next day (Friday) to update us on truck lift and reschedule the move of safes. Friday-no call. Monday-Thursday- sent a text everyday and never got a response. Called the office- no answer and VM box full. What is going on???If you don't want to move the safes just tell us, but this is not how you run a business or treat people. Good luck to anyone wishing to use this company. read more

We hired 7B Moving for a move on Oct. 2, 2021. They sent two employees with a truck on time and ready for work. Their names were Ian and Kai. They started working after talking with us as to see what we wanted done. They never stopped working until the job was COMPLETELY done, not even for lunch! They were very careful, secured everything even though we were only going about 1 1/2 to our new home. Everything we asked came back with a response yes sir or yes mam. Total respect.
