    Yuzu raspberry espresso tonic

Finally got to try 7th day and it was so nice! I got one of the seasonal coffees - yuzu raspberry espresso tonic. Small offerings of pastries with yummy Korean salt bread sausages. Love the Asian inspired flavors they offer, will definitely be back for the ube dream.

The blueberry cardamom matcha with soy milk was delicious! A great space to chat with a friend or study. The staff are friendly and gave a great recommendation for a first drink here. Would come back again.

My cousins and I went to 7th day coffee after lunch. I got the matcha einspanner, my brother got the ube dream coffee, and my cousins got the seasonal blueberry matcha and the lychee matcha. All were good but my favorite was the blueberry matcha. I saw an employee smashing them at the entrance so you know the blueberries were fresh. It was so unexpectedly good.

This was such a beautiful cafe with excellent coffee and matcha (the lychee matcha was really good and actually tasted like lychee!). It was a very minimalist, trendy interior with friendly servers and very quick to make the drinks! We also tried a Korean saltbread bun and it was excellent! Perfect for a nice study date with quality drinks! Will definitely be back soon!

Strawberry Matcha Latte & Earl Grey Matcha

We have tried a lot more drinks from them in the past year: * House Matcha Latte * Earl Grey Matcha Latte * Strawberry Matcha Latte * Matcha Einspanner * Cloudscape (coffee w/ foam) * Banana Matcha (has cinnamon) * Kinako Matcha Einspanner (eh) * Honey Oolong Hojicha (eh) However, my two favorite drinks are still the earl grey matcha and the matcha Einspanner. What I love about them is that no matter how busy the shop is, the drinks are always consistent, I never had a bad drink from them. They remodeled a bit and changed out the interior so it is a lot more spacious and have more seatings now. They also open on Sunday now (they didn't before) so give them a try!!

Ordered a hojicha latte. It was average, nothing made it stand out that makes me want to come back. Parking was a pain & for some odd reason, the bathroom was locked for 15 minutes with no answer.

As both a coffee and matcha enthusiast I can safely vouch that this place knows how to make their drinks. My friends and I got a wide variety of drinks: Ube Dream coffee, Earl Grey matcha, Jasmine matcha and (i forgot the last one). However everyone got a taste of everything and our ratings ranged from 7.5-9/10. The service was also very patient and friendly as we were taking time looking at the menu. Ambiance of the place is very contemporary/minimalist, and a lot of people come here to study and socialize, so it was pretty packed when we came on a Saturday.

7th Day definitely has one of the best matcha lattes in DFW The matcha they source is floral without any astringency I love their seasonal flavors, my current obsession is their cardamom date matcha latte. The syrups are flavorful and somehow the drinks still maintain the matcha essence which can be hard to do Drinks are pricey but worth it Love that they are open super early, I go right before work and the baristas are super friendly They also have fun baked goods like Thai tea cake and salt bread!

Delicious! I tried the strawberry matcha this time and it did not disappoint. The focaccia pastry was also amazing, can't wait to have that again. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. Definitely one of the best matcha spots in town.

I thought the drinks here were alright. The coffee was good and the matcha had a nice, vibrant green color, but overall I thought the drinks were okay. Service is pretty quick.

Coming from California, I thought I'd have high expectations for matcha. My cousin recommended this place so I went to check it out. Earl Grey Matcha (5/5): Wow! This place just blew my mind. It was perfectly sweet and blended well with the matcha.

The matcha scene in Dallas has a stronger presence than Houston! Saw a lot of reviews for this place, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the jasmine matcha, earl grey matcha, ube dream and houjicha latte. We loved every single one! Not a single complaint. I find that earl grey drinks are hard to nail, but they got the flavor down! I can see why it's one of the signatures. Depending when you go, there might be a line, but service is pretty quick! It's a nice place to study or catch up with friends. Lots of seating! I actually hopped on TikTok a couple days later, and saw some comments saying that this place is overrated... I know I'm not from Dallas, but I'm so shocked because I really enjoyed it here and would love to come back!

Cappuccino is very good. Rich and creamy and the temperature is perfect. Also had a croissant. It was flaky and buttery. Service was good. Pricing was good. The coffee shop was simple and cozy. We will be back back

There are a lot of auxiliary seating areas too, so you can move around and set up wherever feels right. It didn't feel awkward at all--people bought a coffee and comfortably stayed for four or five hours without any pressure to leave. Everything felt smooth and natural. I had both a coffee and a matcha, and they were great. Overall, it's definitely a very good place to get work done. They have free, unlimited internet, lots of different spots to settle into, and parking was relatively easy. The chocolate croissant was good--slightly on the heavier side considering I planned to be sitting for a while--but still delicious. The crowd skewed younger, which was refreshing since so many places lately feel more heavily older-populated. All in all, great environment, great energy, and super conducive for getting things done.

I always get a little envious of how every suburb of Dallas seems to have such a cool town square,…read moreand Plano is no different. Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.

The baristas are all super friendly and were happy to answer all my questions. It's also super cozy with dim lighting, and the music isn't super overpowering or loud. There's mostly comfy couches but also a few tables and high top seating. Just a little chilly, so I'd recommend bringing a jacket. I was able to comfortably complete some work on my laptop, with working wifi. There were also people here socializing in the morning. They no longer serve breakfast tacos, so I opted for a bacon cheddar scone at one visit and a lemon blueberry scone on another. They were both delicious! The baristas told me that their chai leans toward the sweeter side versus the spicier side, so I opted for an iced sugar-free vanilla latte, which was not overly sweet. I also tried the beez neez (latte with honey and cinammon) another time and enjoyed it! They offer 2% milk, which I don't always find at coffee shops. Since it's in downtown Plano, there's street parking, which wasn't difficult for me since I came at 8 AM. I believe there are parking garages located nearby. Overall, I've greatly enjoyed 1418 Coffee and will most definitely be visiting more throughout this month while I'm working in the area!
