Biggest complaint is that the fruit toppings tasted stale. I added blueberry's and blackberrys to my ice cream and they had a stale taste to them. I literally ended up throwing my ice cream away after 3 bites because it was so bad. Other minor complaints: - only one person working so it took forever to get our ice cream. We were the only ones there when we came but others came in behind. She took everyone's order and then made the ice cream so it made the wait even longer since we had to wait for her to take the 8 individual orders behind us - menu is very confusing. I honestly do not even know how this place is even in business. The employees are half assed, it shows that they don't even want to be there. They also cant count so don't expect your orders to come out together. The ambience was sub par, employees could care less if the place burned down around them. If the owners got new employees that gave a damn it would be a different story. Meh. The rolled ice cream concept is sweet and all but the flavor is still important - this place falls short there. The process is neat. You pick between 20 mixes of ice cream, watch the workers make it and roll it up, and add 3 extra toppings. This one is right down the road from our new place, so we checked it out today. 2 pm on a Sunday, no wait, two other families sitting at tables eating ice cream. One other reviewer mentioned that this place has a "wet rag" smell/feel when you walk in, and that's kind of an excellent description. My husband said the bathroom was filthy and smelled absolutely awful, so they're losing a star for that overall "you need to clean this place" atmosphere. Girl at the register was pleasant enough but not overly excited with her life, which is fine. They have choices of ice cream/mix ins up on the board - you choose a flavor, and then 3 toppings from the toppings board. My husband went with his standard favorite things - strawberry cheesecake - while I went slightly more exotic with the sexy Georgia (Thai iced tea and peach). Super cool to watch the ice cream being made! As others mentioned, it does take about 5-10 minutes, as it's made to order. The stars they earned are pretty much entirely for the cream - it's really delicious, and they have some unique flavors that I really appreciated. No one would take our order. My family and I went there this evening at 6pm. When we walked in, no staff were visible. Eventually a dark haired girl walked out from the back, did not acknowledge or look at us and went to the cash register where she began doodling on post it notes and looking at her phone. First time going to this location and it was pretty crowded for a rainy Saturday night. There were three ice cream makers and one other person tending the register. There are so many varieties to choose from for $5.99+3 toppings. My grandson got the vanilla with Oreos and they put all of his toppings in another bowl since he's very picky. It was some of the best ice cream I've had in a while! The only disadvantage for a crowded night is there's only four tables and we got fortunate to get a table. Ok, so I've been to this shop before. Today we stopped for a quick treat. This store is always clean. The signs are very very easy to read and comprehend. The staff is nice- as in not rude. They are way more interested in talking with friends and other staff members than being social with customers. I have been to a few other rolled ice cream shops and there is always a little flair... not here. The ice cream is good. It's definitely not a place I would suggest, but I'm always down to go. I love ice cream. They also have shaved ice. Let's talk toppings... the Graham crackers stale, marshmallows stale, the fruit is always fresh which is nice. They have bottled water for$1. They have 4 tables with chairs inside and some seating outside as well. I think they need a little training on personalities and some flair. I have eaten at this location multiple times, and my last time eating here I was so dissatisfied with the product, product availability and customer service. As I was attempting to order the young lady working at the register did not greet me, nor did she bother to say anything at all. When she finally glanced up I asked her nicely if she was ready and she didn't even acknowledge me speaking. This young lady taking orders was also wearing a long sleeve jacket that was completely unzipped with a "crop top" ( if you could call it that) that was nothing more then a black lace lingerie bra. I attempted to order three times, each time I ordered a dessert listed on the back wall they were out of stock of multiple ingredients and unable to make it. It seems like the last 2-3 times I have made the over a hour trek to this location they have been unable to make the things posted on the menu I have requested. I would like to suggest if at all possible the location post either on the door or register or on the menu board what items they are out of stock on at any given time. Because if the individual operating the register is wanting to speak, it would make things much easier for patrons. When I finally settled on a fourth choice and checked out and received my order I remembered that I had forgotten to order any toppings and while i recognize this may have been my fault being blindsided from the inability to order what was on the menu, I do feel like I could have had a better customer service experience from the register by at least reading back my order at the end however the young lady did not care to speak to us so I was not afforded the opportunity. The rolls I did order were okay at best, since I did lack the toppings it could have possibly been better had that also been toppings on the rolls however for the almost 30 dollar price tag for the three orders I was left over all dissatisfied. Also as we were sitting in the shop eating, the said young lady in bra did take her jacket off and walk around the store in jeans and black lingerie lace style bra only. It was extremely unprofessional. I am disappointed to say that the young lady's lack of customer service, and extremely inappropriate style of work attire and underwhelming ice cream has put me off completely from ever returning which is a shame. I have frequented this place over the years and it's just slowly gotten worse and worse. A few suggestions i would make for this place is that if you would like to run and rebrand your business in like manor of attire as hooters, or a adult entertainment venue I would recommend making that more apparent so families and their children would not be blindsided. After all this is a icecream place not a bar. Typically shirts are required? I would also recommend that signs of what is currently unavailable ingredient wise be plainly posted, and recommend hiring employees with the courtesy to acknowledge patrons and walk through a transaction at bare minimum. read more

Demonstration of mixing and rolling of the ice cream which I would assume is part of the flair of this venue, was done in the least viewable location behind a wall and glass trim when clearlg other more viewable demo areas were not in use. Staff working were less than professional and not engaging with the customers but talking amongst themselves personal life drama with less than polite language. Perfect way to end the day is with delicious rolled ice cream. My friends and I dropped by on the way home from dinner. I had the ferrero flavor with coconut flakes, strawberries, pocky, and toasted marshmallow. It was really good. I also tried my friend's purple dream with lychee and mochi. I love taro and the purple dream flavor was sooo yummy. It was packed when we went so the wait was pretty long. The price ($5.99) is a little high I think, but it was a good treat. Some days later we were on Gunbarrel and Bon had a yen for ice cream and we spotted this place. So we pulled in and OMFG, it was an ice cream bar in the self-same vein as we'd been intrigued by! So we dithered a bit at all the choices and I noticed another customer had ordered the taro and coconut flake with toasted marshmallows and strawberries, so I copied her. Bon ordered the Green Tea and Oreo combo and added nuts and Pocky(!). Both were excellent and better than we could have imagined! We had come in during the busy post-church hour, so the line was significant--and the ice cream takes a while because they do all the chopping and other Flavor-Fu when your order comes up, so DO NOT come and think it'll be a quick in-and-out. Our order took around 15 minutes and we considered that reasonable for the effort. UPDATED! Turns out you get free ice cream on your birthday when you show your ID! I used to love coming here... until tonight. We excitedly came in and ordered, I got my strawberry cheese cake ice cream rolls that looked delicious until I took a bite. The milk or cream they used to make the ice cream was expired / both smelled and tasted sour and rancid. I was blown away by how many other people were eating ice cream and didn't seem to notice. Maybe they just made ours from a rancid pitcher but I find it mind blowing that an ice cream place would educate their employees so little that they could smell that cream and still serve it. My wife almost threw up when she took a bite of hers that tasted and smelled the same. I asked for a refund and they offered to make more "base" and remake our ice cream. This is my second time coming to this establishment and I was nervous about coming the first time because of all the horrible reviews that they had received. I didn't have have any issues but today the lady was extremely rude. The worst customer service that I have received in a while. My husband had a local flavor that he used this weekend and my mother had one today and I had one. Since it's been cold we haven't had a chance to come in. The lady yelled ( literally yelling) at my husband and told him that he used his coupon this weekend and almost tried not to honor our vouchers. We had to explain to her that we have our own voucher however she was completely unprofessional with her yelling at him. After she realized that these are two separate tickets and we are different people she began slamming the cups and slamming everything on the counter and refusing to make eye contact. I love ice cream but I can honestly say that I will NEVER come to this establishment again even if they were giving out free $100.00 bills.
