The owner/baker met with my husband, daughter and her fiancé for a lengthy meeting about wishes for cakes for the wedding. She is the kindest most caring person and we felt we knew her at the onset. We had tall orders for both the bridal and groom's cakes and she delivered! The cakes were magical, exactly what we all talked about and we were beyond delighted. So many compliments! No one wanted to cut them. They were very large and personalized. Well worth the money we spent. I would highly recommend Sweet Angel cakes for any of your events. You may not want to go as elaborate as we did, but whatever you de ice with her you will love it.

The red velvet brownies are moist flavorful, and made me wonder why I've only had regular brownies. The thumbprint cookies remind me of one of the thumbprint cookies my favorite bakeries from my childhood. Thumbprint cookies and vanilla(?) Icing are thought to find... in other places it's chocolate or fruit or the icing is hard, but not at B's! The cookies and icing are soft and delicious! Get a lemon bar, get a cinnamon roll, and definitely get a salted caramel cookie (especially if you ldont mind the stickiness of caramel in your teeth) I wish I got one of the King Cakes this year, I bet B's would do a fantastic King Cake. I probably go too often, but I'm excited for all of the new sweets I still get to try!

It should not be on me to followup on invoice. I will not ever be be back as small business I get mistakes happen but this was just poor communication and service. I planned weeks in advance thankfully Baskin robbing supplemented and was even able to personalize cake . I do get mistakes happen but there was no communication . It was dry and tasted artificial(?) - def not moist as tres leches should be. I had to serve it at the party because I didn't have a backup cake. With 10 people present only half the cake was eaten, with a lot of it left on their plates. I don't feel I can call to express my dissatisfaction, due to the language barrier. (I love the Hispanic culture and I know I need to take the time to learn Spanish.) Nothing personal, but this cake was very disappointing, and a bit embarrassing to serve to our guests.

But, on to the service: we decided to give it another shot, we go in, and the cashier tried to start a political argument with my husband over his benign, apolitical t-shirt that triggered her for some reason. No matter how hard he tried to deflect, she kept insisting on a response. He was nicer than he should have been and didn't let it escalate, but we aren't in a bakery to discuss government policies with a random cashier. The pastries certainly are not good enough to suffer through the proselytizing of the stranger swiping your credit card.

Since everything in the Bluff View Art District's hours are limited, make sure you call first to see what their hours are for the day. They have a fabulous assortment of fresh-baked and delicious breads and sweet treats. My favorite is the challah bread. It's so soft, fluffy and very pleasant tasting. Rembrandt's Coffee House around the corner from them also sells their breads and baked goods, so you have a second option if Bluff View Bakery is closed. You have parallel street parking and there is also a private lot beside the store. Delicious adventures await!

Arrived in Uber to discover the manager gave us the wrong address…read more Next was looking place a bottle of champagne (that was not provided by the inn) no ice machine exists in the building that was staying at. Was told have to goto a separate building to find ice. When I arrived at the next building the ice machine was empty. So this is just the beginning! So woke up the next morning and no food or breakfast is located in the three or more buildings. You have to walk about a city block away. When you arrive for breakfast your food is delivered in a cardboard box - which was actually gross ! You will NOT wake up to fresh coffee, orange juice or anything in the common area. You will find all areas are locked except for a very cold room with an actual church Pugh bench in the common area. Next I return to the room and the maids were outside. I asked for extra bathroom towels and was told "can only give you more towels in exchange for your dirty towels. I also asked for another blanket to sleep with and the maid states " now I have to goto the other building for that". Later that day I turned on the shower, the shower knob was stuck on all hot, and could not even take a three minute shower. The actual room had a small television in the wall, behind the television was a curtain. I moved the curtain back to find a huge hole on the wall (where and old tv was filled with dust). Tony's pasta restaurant (onsite) was a sodium filled nightmare. Tried the pasta- over cooked , the meatballs were unetiable. This bakery has every little Debbie treat you can think of! This place looks like a small store…read morefront with their yellow, red and silver truck parked to the side. Will say the Christmas tree Debbie's are only holiday (people have posted that they're year round here and they are not). But to have some fun treats, free box of little Debbie with your purchase, free samples and merchandise is something fun we will remember for years to come. Also a block away they have the little Debbie park which is a small kids play area but has 4 large Debbie snacks throughout the park which is a fun touch to add to your Little Debbie Day!
