I'm typically hard pressed in writing a negative review especially with a business I've utilized quite often over the years. I've always enjoyed my foot massages here and was always on good terms with the owner, and husband. I don't like to complain and I have several times due to biz practices which just aren't right. Don't get me wrong here. Her staff is very, very good. I've covered so many massage places over the years. 8 Spa is one of two that I use. My choice is Magic Hands. 8 Spa is closer to home. About 6 months ago I stopped coming here due to my unhappiness with coming for an appointment and being told, once again.."30 minutes I'll take you." and this happens when I have a set appointment.This has happened too many times. I am very patient and I am a very good customer. I tip very well because the services are excellent. I chose to go back recently, maybe a month ago or so and gave them yet another chance. All had been good etc until yesterday. Coming from the hospitality biz myself with over 30 years managing, I'll tell you what one should not do and that is to not sacrifice a customer and especially a very good customer such as myself, you don't put them 2nd to the almighty $$. With all due respect because I like Wendy but not only does this still continue to happen....yesterday with me..big mistake. I'm kind of feeling insulted with her expecting me to wait, wait and wait because of whatever excuses I was given. Called up was able to book 2x 1 hour Massages, with very little notice. Clean very busy and friendly Authentic Korean massage. I did a deep tissue massage with hot stones the person found my knots and worked very hard to work them out. Hunt had a soft issue massage which he enjoyed as well. My husband and I decided to end our weekend with a couples massage but I had no idea where to go and it was last minute. Naturally I turned to Yelp and found 8 Foot Spa. It received great reviews so I called and they were able to accommodate us right then (which was 5:30 on a Sunday evening). That was the first positive. Of course since it was such short notice I was not expecting to get a good therapist but any massage would do at that point. Let me say I was so wrong! We arrived and were shown to a very nice room with double tables. I had the pleasure of having Kevin as my therapist and he was ahhhmazing! He spent so much time on my problem areas as I requested and made sure I was comfortable along the way asking me if the pressure ok. My husband did not get the name of his therapist, but he promptly fell asleep, so I know he was very relaxed. Afterward, he said he also had an amazing massage too. We both opted for the 90 minute massage and they took care of every single part of your body, including your fingertips and your ears. I was actually on the massage envy wait list, but nearing the deadline of my allotted time to get a massage figured I would try this place while in town! Best decision I've made in a long time! I have not been to see Wendy / staff for a few months because I've been busy getting ready for a move. I am not exaggerating one bit when I tell you my body has been aching from head to toe. I stopped by yesterday for a 90-minute reflexology and O M G I feel energized again. I was getting worried that something was wrong with my body. The only thing wrong is that I have been over-doing it and not taking time out for me. I believe in Wendy and her staff so much so that if I were to win the lottery tomorrow, I'd take Wendy to where ever I go and invest in a larger company for her. I will NOT miss Florida when I move (for the 4th time leaving this state). I WILL miss Wendy and the reflexology. One of these days I know I need the full massage but the reflexology just feels so wonderful! I simply cannot recommend this spa enough. Clean, honest, relaxing, soothing, and the staff get it right every time. If you want them to go harder/stronger - tell them. Don't under estimate the power behind these petite little frames. I could cry, I thought I'd found a perfect place! The 1st time I went I had the best 1hr massage I'd ever had, my body was so achy from the gym and my anxiety, and it felt fixed. I did a foot massage in the group room, they soaked my feet and did body 1st then feet. The 2nd time, I was led into a private room, and it was insanely awkward. Every single touch was painful almost like she was trying to do the most painful massage possible, I was baffled, I thought they were all amazing! It's hard to communicate with them when you say lighter please. They don't know the most important, basic words a masseuse needs. She kept saying You Ok Ok when I'd try to get up and leave like she'd do something different if you stayed, but she'd keep repeating the same stuff, and massaging one teensy spot forever until it becomes super annoying and you wanna say Stop it already! For some reason she then pulled my pants down to try to rub my butt, not neccesary, at that point I left thinking, wtf how'd we go from best ever to worst plus butt touching, nooo it's a nightmare. So I tried one more time just now, and I tried my best to be polite, thinking my back was about to be fixed like the 1st time, when the lady focused on one tiny spot, oddly ONLY my left foot for 90% of the 30 min. I felt rude leaving previously, then I felt dumb staying thru an awful "massage". Never ever ever again. Oh yeah I was forced to tell a rude old lady by me to get off her phone because no one else said anything, ugh. Then felt awkward yet again. So Ridiculous. read more

I tried this place for the first time tonight and it was great. I stopped in the day before to check it out and Wendy was very helpful. I booked this appointment for myself and two friends. We selected to do the full body massage. The massage itself was great...the women were very skilled and really did a great job-we were totally relaxed at the end! The place is clean and everyone was friendly. A few things...they aren't really clear at first if you should undress or not (some of these spas you do...others you don't)...so at first it was a little awkward because we didn't know what to do. Since there is a language barrier..you may want to clarify ahead of time before you go into the massage area where you need to be quiet. I was thinking maybe they could give you a little card with some instructions or something to help. Since I went with a friend, they put us in a private room with 2 ladies...they were great...but they talked to each other a lot which made for a little less relaxation. Next time I would want to be alone to avoid this. The only other minor disappointment that I had was that she didn't touch my feet! I was really looking forward to getting my feet rubbed...maybe next time I will just do feet. I really liked it-and I would definitely give it another try. read more

SOOOOO AMAZING. I went for my first time yesterday around 5pm ( I usually go to bellagio foot spa but I was fed up with the workers and unprofessionalism). I had the 60$ full body massage and boy do they do your WHOLE BODY. The woman at the front desk was sweet, made me feel very comfortable before the massage even started and the woman who did the massage was attentive and thorough throughout the whole time. I was able to try the hot rocks and loved that as well. I will be back for sure. read more
