Then they sent me a quote for thousands to clean up the damage. I hired a different pest control company from Essex Junction that worked with a local contractor to resolve it for much less. It is also annoyingly difficult to reach the Williston office by phone. If you're reading this right now, go ahead and try to give them a call. You will likely get a recording saying they're busy. The only way I could get them to call me was to call the national number, select the 'new service' option, and then ask them to have the local office call me. I strongly recommend you find a different, more reliable local pest control company.

A few weeks following their initial pest inspection and treatment I still noticed the two issues I had called them about had not really been reduced, let alone resolved. I called on a Saturday afternoon and did not receive a call back until Monday afternoon. By then I had reached out to a different pest control company, who by comparison, indicated that they were far more competent and accommodating. When I called to cancel Fox indicating this failure in their SLA, they charged me a hefty cancellation fee (about 4 months of the monthly service fee) and told me that they are closed Saturday afternoons and Sunday so it is unreasonable for me to expect anyone to call back until Monday. My current pest control service has an answering service 24/7 so at least someone receives my phone calls when I call with a pest problem on the weekend. The home is a rental, so this is important to us. Further, the technician who serviced our home did not have any experience with the type of pest we were having and treated for the wrong thing.

The products he uses have been effective for my carpenter ant and hornet issues. We had a very wet spring, which may have impacted the ant treatment. He came back out to re-apply at no charge to me, and said that the product was under warranty. Then, on top of all of this, he's very transparent about the services. What they will do, what they won't do, and is honest about recommendations that make sense for the consumer, rather than attempting to tack on unnecessary services. They came and explained it was a satellite site and they'd help me break it over the next 12 months. Their pricing is very reasonable. They come once a month for a year and they spray inside and outside. They then suggest coming the 4 months of ant season to avoid future issues. I saw tons of tiny baby ants immediately by that patio door. Over time, I have seen fewer. They have also helped with those asian ladybugs that are not actual ladybugs. Safe around pets, too. No odor and doesn't affect my sensitive skin to have it in the house (I have reacted to other pesticide products). Very pleased with their services.
