From the moment Katie arrived, she was warm, non-judgmental, and helpful. She literally dug into my wardrobe and helped me take a hard look at all of my items. Kia is a Vivid Hair Specialist who has transformed my hair from its natural brown to teal, then pink with extensions, and now purple with a silver money piece! She's super sweet, and she's always been very realistic with me about what kind of maintenance certain colors or cuts need. (Despite how it may seem, I like low maintenance even though I still want fun colors.) For the time and service she provides, her rates are very reasonable. I've looked forward to every visit with her, and I feel like my self-confidence has grown not just because of my beautiful hair but also because of her positive and empowering outlook! Ariel is an amazing nail artist! I was never one to get my nails done regularly (low maintenance, like I wrote), but when I was getting my hair done, I'd see Kia's nails (always done by Ariel), and they were literally fantastic. So I gave it a whirl and got some fancy nails for a business trip. And then I asked for some fun nails for a wedding. The more I visited the salon, the more I enjoyed the ladies that worked there and the energy that I felt, and the more I wanted to come back. Now I come every 4 weeks for Ariel to do my nails. I purchased a Groupon for Bradley and emailed for an appointment. I learned that Bradley only works…read moreon Saturdays so please be aware of that before purchasing a Groupon. Bradley and I agreed on a date and time. A few days later he sent a confirmation email. The email had the wrong date (it was a week earlier than we had agreed on). I reached out to Bradley and he confirmed that he had me down for the week after at the agreed upon time. He told me to disregard the confirmation email with the wrong date. We agree to see each other in the agreed date and time. Shortly after, I received a second confirmation email with the correct date and time. There were instructions to call and notify Bradley if there were cancellations. On the date and time of my appointment I went to Sola to Bradley's studio. It was locked up and dark. I reached out to Bradley and he stated that since I never confirmed my appointment he never came down. I believed we had confirmed when we discussed the date and time being incorrect during the first confirmation email. He never stated at that time that I needed to confirm beyond what we had already agreed on. The confirmation email did not indicate that I needed to re-confirm after receiving the confirmation email. He said that I could disregard the confirmation email so I did and I showed up. It was extremely unprofessional of Bradley to put the blame on me for not confirming an appointment that I had in fact confirmed. I only work in Ventura and I am not there on the weekends. It was extremely frustrating to make a special trip out, only to be stood up for a hair appointment that we had agreed upon. Bradley does deserve at least one star. He never mentioned it when we were emailing, but he is very responsive via text. If you are willing to give him a try, I would strongly recommend keeping in touch via text. I wish I had known that prior to planning an entire Saturday in Ventura for a hair cut. I hope you have a better experience than I had.

Bradley is a friend of mine and a colleague. He does my color all the time but this last time he…read moredid so good. First he finally bleached all of my hair instead of just and ombré. He then used 2 different pinks and 2 different purples. He used one of the purples to do a shadow root and after that he alternated doing one panel of each color in diagonal back sections. When he dried it it turned out having more dimension than when he had previously done it. I am so beyond happy with how it turned out.
