They showed up and worked 4 hours straight and left the condo in immaculate condition! They were polite and professional. Stel's team did a fantastic job on my house. I've been struggling to find quality housekeepers ever since the people I used to use moved away. I've tried 4-5 different people recently and all of them have just done a very mediocre job . Stel's team arrived exactly on time and left my house looking phenomenal. There were even things they got clean that I thought were permanently stained which I have tried many times to remove and they did it without me even pointing them out. My roommates and I have our house cleaned by Stel Housecleaning times now. First two times were not too bad but the third time was definitely not a charm. We paid $120 just to have 4 rooms cleaned - kitchen, living room, and two SMALL bathrooms. Well, the last time they cleaned our house last week, you couldn't even tell that house cleaners had come at all. Nothing looked cleaner than how we left it. There was a random stain (that would easily come off with cleaning) on a kitchen wall that was still left there, many paw prints from our dog still on the sliding doi that they obviously didn't wipe down whatsoever, dust bunnies all over, dust on top of the ceiling fan (not on a high ceiling), and many more areas that did not get a good cleaning. We don't pay to spot clean - we do that ourselves. We pay to get our house cleaned to have these sort of things done for us. When my roommate emailed about the cleaning being way less than up to par, they offered to have the cleaning crew come back. Why would we want the same crew who did a half-assed job coming back to clean our house? When we said no thank you to that offer and asked if there was another way to make this better, they simply sent a PayPal receipt. Both an unprofessional way of handling our disappointed and not a great service. We won't be getting our house cleaning service done from Stel Housecleaning again. UPDATE 1/14/19: Apparently I can't reply to the owner's reply so I am putting my response here. It is also relevant to note that it took 5 months for the business owner to reply to my negative review. That is not "great customer service." I clearly noted in my review that I am a roommate of Danielle so this isn't new news. I live in the house and helped pay for the service. I obviously know what a poor cleaning job was done and can tell you that my roommate (who I talk to on a daily basis) was also NOT satisfied with the service. Regardless of what story Stel Housecleaning wants to tell, they still lost us as a customer and we will never be doing business with them again. read more

I purchased through Groupon a special 2-hour Housecleaning services thru Stel's Housecleaning as a treat for myself. I scheduled for housecleaning at 8:30 a.m. the other day. At 9:30 a.m. and I got a call that they can't find the place. After confirming the address and directions it became apparent they initially wrote down the wrong street name ( which sounds a little familiar in that both streets start with the same letter, and that's all that's familiar ). They were 5 minutes away and 20 minutes have now passed since the call ended. Hmmm 1/2 hour later one person from Stel's housecleaning showed up to clean, not two. After 2 hours she told me she had gone over the 2 hour mark and it was time for her to leave. *None of the waste baskets had been emptied. *The bed sheets were not changed ( I had put a fresh set on top of the bed and the existing comforter and sheets pulled back, almost off ). I discovered the comforter on the bed had been pulled up and when I pulled them back the sheets remained in a crumple underneath near the foot of the bed. *The toilet was not cleaned. *Entry by front door was very poorly vacuumed, with stuff all over the carpet still remaining. *The living room was never touched, she didn't even go in there. ( It badly needed vacuuming at very least ) I am shocked and greatly disappointed at the level of service received. They charge more than most in the area and this is what you get, I am glad that I didn't pay full price via the groupon deal. I still feel ripped off. I do not recommend using this housecleaning service. read more

Stel Housecleaning has been cleaning my house during my recovery from cancer. I usually clean my house myself, but during this time I accepted their gracious offer to do it as community service. And I am so happy to have the housecleaning off my mind! And right now, house cleaning is plainly too physically exhausting for me. The maid who has been working on my house listened to my instructions, and did exactly as told. She is very friendly and works non stop. She had to clean my windows on the inside and did a great job on that. For the next cleaning, I am going to tell her to vacuum the baseboard around the house as well, as the baseboard was not in my original instructions. I like that I got an email and a text reminder of the next appointment. I am looking forward for the next cleaning in a month. read more

Got a Groupon deal to check them out. Got the 2-hr, one-time deal, which is, of course, two people for one hour. Told them, honestly that I wanted to check out their service as I am looking for housecleaning to replace the former ones. I told them to use my products and left them to go about their work. They spent a lot of time chatting while working..not really that big of a deal, but it's disturbing to me that they didn't manage to get the top of my fridge or under my sofa? Scheduled my cleaning 3 weeks in advance, a Groupon deal, to help me out after a planned surgery on my shoulder. The day before, I called to confirm and was told they didn't have me down and it would be a month before they could fit me in. I had to clean with my arm in a sling, in pain! Weeks later, one girl came out Not two and when she left I saw the toilet was left uncleaned, bathroom trashcan unemptied. The vaccuum she brought was poor or maybe she didn't bother to use it.
