Seconds later he's back telling me they only warranty to the "original owner." The "original owner/customer" is a dealer who resold the truck immediately. SO, they DON'T actually warranty their work, do they??? And they really just wanted me to schedule service so they could make more money on their failed repairs to this vehicle. Am I going to take this truck to a shop that doesn't stand behind their work? And one that had to see the truck 3 times before they actually fixed it... AND it's still not fixed? He came to Oregon City, picked up my husband and then they were on the way to Tigard. About 20 minutes later I get a very shaky call from my hubby that the driver had accused him of attempting to "set him up", pulled a pistol on him, cocked it and kicked him out of the truck leaving him stranded in Tigard with 5% battery on his cell and having left his $140 in the truck. I immediately msgd the driver asking what happened and my husband attempted to explain that "yes" the vehicle was in a very creepy part of the town and there were homeless camps around and it was dark but that is where it was parked when we bought it earlier that day and were unable to move or start the vehicle hence we employed him. He said that my husband was trying to set him up by going there and that he filed a police report. I was completely shocked, scared for my husband and then eventually angry, The driver said that the $140 was nowhere in his truck and that was what we "get" for trying to set up outlaw towing.
