Her room is located in the back of a beauty supply store and it's very clean. Her website also features an on-line booking system. Her room is peacefully dark with ambient spa music playing. The signature facial begins with aromatherapy to relax you. There's the typical steaming/cleansing/extraction routine and then she selects various treatments and masks based on your specific skin type/condition. Usually while the treatments work on your face, she gives a wonderful head, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands massage. After years of getting facials I wasn't sure what good vs bad was. My face always glowed and I normally fell asleep after each one and as long as that happened I was satisfied. I've been looking at this place for a while and coincidently there was a groupon for a 40 dollar microdermabrasion. I made an appt with lina. I mention to her that I had a groupon but she continue to ask me what facial I wanted. The facial was ok and massages weren't really relaxing. She told me the total was $89.00 and I told her again I had groupon she subtracted the 40 and still charged me $49 bucks! I generously tipped her 15 and realized I spent over 100 dollars on a facial that I assured I was only spending going to be spending 10 minus the groupon. I've had micros before in other places and this was just a short soft touching of the face. My 1st treatment was followed by a mask, no massage whatsoever. I almost cancelled my appointment but I'm glad I didn't because after all was said and done, I left her little office feeling very comfortable and very satisfied with Lina's service. She's very friendly, professional, caring, and very flexible with my schedule which is a plus! I have seen her a couple more times since my first appointment and will definitely be going back to her in the future. I also really appreciated that she recommended I take an ibuprofen or aspirin about a half hour before the appointment since I have expressed to her that I have a pretty low pain tolerance. I took a couple and I must say they definitely helped.
