They had a location close to the hotel and easy drop off right in our lobby (literally so easy). The staff at Kristi's was so friendly and our daughter especially loved Shadow (the sweetest black lab mix). You can't beat the ROI on the rental price to fun ratio. This allowed us to have one of the coolest experiences ever with our 3 year old daughter. I highly recommend renting a sled and trying it yourself and with your kids. She just rode with one of us. We personally had way more fun with the sled and would rent 2 sleds and skip the board if we were to do it again.

First off, the store is massive and has just about everything a Coloradan would ever need for outdoor festivities. The mission: rent a sandboard for Great Sand Dunes National Park. Consider the mission accomplished! I spoke with three different people over my two visits (one to rent, and the other to return) and they were just so damn friendly. Knowledgeable, helpful, and encouraging for a first time sand boarder like myself. You can rent sand boards or sleds for $20 a day. Totally worth it, especially if you're staying in Alamosa.
