Do not use 833 Dump Pro under any circumstance!!! I sought to get information on junk removal on Google and Thumtack popped up with a selection of companies they have on their roster. I was honest and specific that I needed a loveseat and a couch removed. There were several companies that responded, but 833 Dump Pro seemed reasonable with a quote for $100.00. I selected and confirmed for 9:00 am today, Sunday, October 25,2020. They never reached out per text or phone call, it was all confirmed via email. Two haulers arrived at 10:00 am and upon site immediately said the job was too big for $100.00. They said that was an estimate and normally they preview and quote. They also said they have been having a problem with Thumtack quoting too low and customer confusion upon their arrival. I asked why didn't the company reveal this, and/or fire Thumtack bc it is not the customers fault. I can understand if I was naive as to the current price of hauling a couch and love seat, but neither were they willing to work with me or take into consideration that the fault remained with them and Thumtack and not me! I spoke with Derek on the phone and he was rude and non-yielding! He said his quote of $200.00 was it and final and there was no room to quote lower, even though it was not my fault. I really do believe in good customer service and regardless as to whether my naivite or uninformed cost of junk removal was obvious, 833 Junk Pro's should have made some concessions and satified a customer in need; especially since I disclosed I was receiving new furniture upon the removal of the old within a couple of hours. 833 Junk Pro is a Big Fat NO and full of JUNK in my opinion and I would never give them the time of day. Luckily, a company called Trash Buster came to the rescue within the hour, and for a lower price, hauled my 2 couches. I was more than happy to pay them and tip them for their great customer service. I booked them for 9am on Thumbtack then got an assigned 2 hour range. This didn't work since I had to work during this time. I asked them to text me the price before getting started but they never did. They said that they got permission from my babysitter for the increased price but I specifically told them they needed to have me approve it. Getting approval from someone else does not count as approval. The only reason why I wasn't able to be with them is because they came at a time that wasn't when I booked. I submitted all photos to them ahead of time and they quoted me $100 but I was charged $326.87 without having any knowledge of the increase before they started. I explained to them that I was unhappy and they had time to fix the overcharge before I posted a review but they insisted that this is normal on how they do business and did not apologize or give a refund. They should be more transparent with pricing and communicate it upfront. read more

Updating to ZERO stars. Tried to work out my issue with Business Manager Derek. He was very rude and unaccommodating. When I posted a poor review with Thumbtack he emailed me "No one Cares."" I suggested he grow up and asked that he never contact me again EVER. HORRIBLE experience. read more

I fully recommend 833 Dump Pro! I called them to schedule a quote. They were available to come out the next day. Quickly quoted me. I had what they call a bed load (priced differently than a regular load) so it was pretty labor intensive. And to my surprise they got started right away. Extremely professional, prompt - I wish all services were like this! I called on a Saturday and they said they could come on Sunday and gave me a time window. They called on Sunday to let me know what time they would arrive and it was in the middle of the window. They provided me with the quote before they started. All the pricing is on the website so it was exactly what I was expecting - though I did miss the bed load charge for heavy brick (it's there). The pricing was clearly explained BEFORE they started.
