Seemed expensive and a long lead time, but fine, they are highly rated so I went with them. During the job, they came out 4 times to measure the windows. 4 times! Also, took 3 installing visits to get it right. Again, things happen, so was just glad when the job was completed. Got the final bill. It was $1800. Called the office to ask why. Got the owner. Told it was for travel surcharge to the island. I said it wasn't part of the original quote. She then in a very patronizing way went on to tell me they sent an email in January (that I don't have in my records) telling about the surcharge. Again fine. As I was ending the call, said they need to be careful. It won't always be this busy and people will remember how she treats them. Her response was to say "she wasn't going to listen to me school her on her business and she was hanging up." And she did. Unbelievable. I wanted to tell her I also have run very large businesses, and when a customer wants to give you feedback, listen!!! Anyone who is looking to open a screening company, come to Fort Myers, FL. The largest competitor is arrogant and has no interest in listening to paying customers!

There is a shortage of propane tanks everywhere and we are new to the state of Florida and didn't realize having a propane tank is going to be important... My wife went to this place for two 20 lb propane tanks and they took advantage of my hospice, RN wife. My wife doesn't know the average cost of a propane tank... This woman charged my wife $90 cash and gave her a receipt for $70 which my wife didn't notice till after she left.. and then the store says that they didn't take credit cards and my wife was out of cash so they allowed her to do a Zelle transaction and charged another $90 for a 2nd tank... Then when we called them out on it, they denied it.... This place is run by liars and thieves.

Paul ordered the exact amount of tile we needed, it took 2 weeks like he said it would and it was delivered to our Boca home within a few days after that. We were able to coordinate with his driver and our contractor for a seamless delivery when we were not there. *Never saw him after initial estimate meeting. *I couldn't…read morecommunicate with workers due my inability to speak their language. *He sent a 4" roof vent ( for shingle roof) instead of a 6" roof vent ( for tile roof) so the workers just cut off the tiles so it would fit. That resulted in water above the vent to run into the attic. *They did a tear off and much of the debris fell into flower beds and killed several plants. *For weeks after completion nails were found in the lawn, resulting in three flat tires for my lawn maintenance man's tractor. *Martineau refused to go on the roof until after final inspection. There were problems I wanted to show him. *I talked to the inspector and showed him my concerns. This resulted in a one month delay, as the roof failed inspection three different times. *The material used as tucking did not match the tile. Each batch they made was a different color. The whole look of the roof ended up looking like a patchwork. *I did not approve of the owners language. *He refused to compensate my lawn maintenance man for tire replacement. * I would never wish to use DR Martineau for any type of work.
