I booked a 1-hour deep tissue massage and was really disappointed with the experience. I asked multiple times for more pressure, but nothing changed throughout the session. To make it worse, my feet weren't massaged at all, which I thought would be a standard part of a full-body massage. I also added on the 60-minute scalp spa, and this was even more unsatisfying. For $78, I expected quality products and a relaxing treatment, but they used Head & Shoulders shampoo and Pantene conditioner -- basic drugstore items you can buy anywhere. It felt cheap and not at all like a spa experience. Overall, I left dissatisfied and wouldn't return. For the price, you expect professionalism, better technique, and higher-quality products. My mother got me and my husband a couple massages here for my birthday. My husband set up the day and time. We were the first customers of the day as they don't open till 10:00am weekdays. From the view outside it's nothing too special, but I've been in places before that looked the same but did an amazing job! When we walked the sitting area was small like a nail salon, but we didn't need to sit as we were greeted right away. The lady at the front dark was nice and looked up our appointment quickly. She did seem kinda confused and spoke in another language with a coworker as we gave her our certificate. As they rambled back and forth we provided them with a paid receipt. Then seem to make them happy. The Second Lady walked us to the second room which was right across from the front desk. The door was already open as so were all the other doors too. She ran through the lay down under the sheets with us. And didn't provide a basket or box for our belongings, so I put them under the only table in there. ( no chairs ) The room was small and the beds didn't really fit, it looked like the workers would have a hard time walking around the whole bed. I had to ask to use the washroom, most places offer before starting. Once in the room and getting ready to lay down I noticed it was very cold! No steam, or heater at all. No wax burner, candles, or incense. When the two ladies walked in only one of them greeted us. I can't speak for my husband but my lady seemed very off. She didn't speak other than asking if I was ok because she push hard on the bottom of my ribs and she also asked me to take a few breaths ? Her massage was definitely rushed! No pressure at all other than when she pushed down on my ribs. She didn't spend more than 3sec on a spot and oddly enough she didn't even do my right side !!!! Yes you Hurd me right she only massage my left side ?!?! And that was the side too close to the wall ?!?! Also they wipe you down with a cold towel at the end !!! Like it's already cold in here and now you add to it WTF?!? I felt like I came in and got petted rather than a massage. Very nice clean and quiet massage studio. No distractions and minimal decorations. My therapist did a good job messaging my shoulders and back. She also had very good communication skills and was checking in with me during the massage. My muscles felt much better. They have very nice massage chair specials. Great service! I scheduled a 90 minute hair scalp spa with deep cleansing, hair wash, neck and shoulder massage with fumigation. The entire experience was fantastic. It started with a 30 minute neck, back and shoulder massage. The massage was wonderful...perfect pressure. The masseuse worked out all of my knots. Then came the scalp treatment. I had two relaxing hair washes with scalp massage that lasted for 30 minutes. Then came the fumigation which consisted of a warm scalp shower and scalp steam. While I was enjoying the scalp treatment, the masseuse massaged and stretched my legs. Afterwards, my hair was quickly blow dried. I also received one last neck and shoulder massage. The entire experience was so relaxing. I'll be back! One quick note...your scalp and hair are washed and not conditioned. This is a scalp treatment and NOT a Japanese hair spa. I was disappointed in my massage and masseuse. First, I was never asked the type of massage I wanted. I spent 50 minutes of the massage on my stomach. At first she massaged my back for 5 minutes with the sheet on my back until she finally took it off. She massaged my back, arms and the back of my legs for 50 minutes. Then she told me to turn over. Wanted to try it out, and I had a great experience. I asked for a female over the phone and when I came in they instantly knew and had me in the massage room within a few minutes. I am an athlete and I lift weights, I got a deep tissue massage. I would recommend this for everyone even if not an athlete regardless on your age. This masseuse was an expert and really got into the muscle well. She asked how the pressure was so you can always request harder/softer. We all are often sitting for most of the day and we can experience lots of built up tension in the back/neck area. Too rough. Requested a deep tissue massage. From the beginning, my masseuse was to rough and rushed. She dug her elbows into my back. When I cringed in pain, she complained that I didn't seem to be able to handle a deep tissue massage. She proceeded to dig her elbow into my shoulder blade but I was too embarrassed to ask her to be more gentle. I was in pain for much of my massage and I woke up in a world of pain today. I found a Groupon for this spa and just had a wonderful 60 min Swedish massage which also included hot stones at the end of the session. The deal was $55 online but the regular price was only $10 more so either way you can't go wrong. The massage therapist was female and very considerate of how much pressure to apply. She didn't talk much and that was fine since I've got three little boys so the peace & calm was worth the $$$. So when I'm wrong I'm wrong, and in this case I'm happy to be wrong. Management called me and explained the error and we sorted it out- their foot 'scrub' is a vigorous scrubbing motion massage. I was happy enough with the explanation, but they very generously offered another hour long massage for me to try it again, I said I'd be content just having a half hour foot massage- they even followed up to schedule it. My husband and I got a 60 minute deep tissue couples massage for $130. It was excellent. Probably one of the best massages I've gotten. Both of our masseuses focused on the right areas that were tight without us having to tell them where. They're legit and are good at focusing on knots. The place is also very clean and nice. The people there were very nice and friendly. The massage was super good and couldn't have been better for the price. They said they will extend the promotion price to me for me next visit.
