I love this place. It's my go to spot for Indian food near where I live. I usually go for their lunch buffet. I get to have foods I would normally order and try foods I often would overlook if I wasn't at this place. I do appreciate that they take the time to put the vegetarian options in one area. I definitely appreciate a staff member coming to give me a fresh naan. They also tell me what the food is if I'm unfamiliar with it which helps me educate myself on Indian cuisine.

Found this place looking for food in this plaza. Spacious area and look like they have a lunch Buffett. Came for dinner and wasn't busy m. Quick service. Started off with Pani puri, the sauce and inside was good but the shell was on the thicker side. The garlic naan was fluffy but didn't really taste the garlic flavor. The butter chicken and masala was tasty but flavors can be stronger. Chicken was tough and dry. Lychee was an interesting taste in the masala. The dosa was the best part. Huge and all the flavors go well all the sauces. Would come back for the dosa. Lots of parking in this plaza.

The restaurant is very clean and there are many vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The meats were cooked to a tender point and most of the dishes have a mild heat level. They also have lots of different desserts. There is a mango one that was pretty good. I also enjoyed the unsweetened tea. The goat curry was pretty good. Parking was simple and service was decent. My table was routinely cleared and my water was constantly refilled. It was a comfortable experience as the inside was spacious and easy to move around.

Ambiance is very warm and the food tastes great. I wish the garlic naan was cooked more to bring out the flavor. Service wasn't the fastest (10+ minutes) and the restaurant wasn't too busy at the time. I would come again. The food in the picture are chicken samosa, tikka masala, classic butter chicken, and goat curry. I left feeling pretty full. If you're a big eater (double-double order at in-n-out + animal fries), you could probably down two orders of traditional curries.

Cozy, good service, plenty of parking, and very delicious food (reasonably priced). About $15-$20/person. Arrived about 5 PM for an early dinner and beat the dinner crowd. This was my first visit but it seems like a popular, local place. The paratha is much better than the naan. Naan seemed dry and not soft. Save room for dessert! Butter chicken and saag paneer are flavorful and not to be missed. Server is kind and efficient. Bookmarked this place because I want to come back and explore more of the menu.

We had them catered to my company and man their jeera pulao and tandoori chicken hit next level. Extremely tender chicken with so much flavor to it. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Their butter chicken is standard fare as is their butter paneer. I'd come back specifically for their tandoori chicken.

I've always seen 8Elements passing this plaza and now I finally got to try it! My boyfriend and I came on a Friday night. It was packed so I already could tell this was going to be good. We ordered the masala dosa, lamb kebob and classic butter chicken with basmati rice. The masala dosa was BOMB and it was so BIG! This was my first time trying it so I'm not sure if this is the usual size but it was big for us! We enjoyed the 4 different sauces. My boyfriend favorite was the coconut (white one, second to the left) and mine was the last one on the far right. The lamb kebob was also delicious! It was cooked well and I always love it with the mint chutney. Of course, the classic butter chicken was classic! This place is definitely my go-to Indian spot. The prices aren't too bad either!

My family has been going to this restaurant for many years. They are our go to catering vendor. Their in restaurant food is amazing. I love their masala dosas and their sambar is very well made as are their chutneys. This is the place that I like to take friends to eat when in the South Bay. I have not tried their buffet, but if it is anything like their catering food then it must be amazing. We always get both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes when we have hired them for catering. They always give us good quantities of food and everyone loves the food. I would strongly recommend both their restaurant and their catering services.

Maybe we didn't order the right things but our experience was just so-so compared to other peoples reviews. The dosa was not as expected. The ones I've had in the past are crispy, this was soft and mushy, almost like a doughy burrito. And the chutney selections were just ok. Paneer Makhni was supposed to be in a creamy tomato sauce but was not that creamy. Kind of watery. Similar situation with the Tikka Masala. The best dish was the garlic naan. I wish I got more of that.

How much is the lunch buffet?

What is the cost of the lunch buffet on Saturdays?

I want to say it was around $20 per person

    Do you have Lunch Buffet?

I have never seen a lunch buffet on offer here

I just dined here yesterday for the very first time and I wanted to know what is the most asked for dish on the South Indian menu? I love how big the portions are. Is there any right or wrong way to eat it?

I wood recommend Dosa but ask them to make it crispy, usually they serve it soft

    Is there big portions?

I would say normal portions like all other restaurants

    Do they serve halal meat?

Yes we do. Lamb, goat and chicken.

Do they have Dosa night every Thursday? The website says so, but when I called they said they don't have Dosa night

    nope

Looks like it typically caters to takeout and casual dining, but don't let that fool you. We were impressed !!! What I Had: - Garlic naan - Butter chicken - Palak paneer - Gobhi Manchurian (appetizer) All 4 dishes were stars!!! The garlic naan was solid; it came wrapped in foil for to-go, so it may have lost a little of the crispiness I personally prefer, but the flavor was still good. The butter chicken was great, good flavor and chicken is not dry. The Palak Paneer had amazing flavor. The Gobhi Munchurian appetizer was the real shine of the show. Somewhat crunchy and mildly sweet yet spicy and flavorful. YUM! Will for sure be back to pick up more food. Price is fair and serving size is pretty generous - great value! Will definitely be coming back to pick up yummy indian food (and more Gobhi Manchurian!) ---How I Rate on Yelp:--- (5 stars): Exceptional!! -- food, service, and atmosphere all outstanding. Both meats were juicy, flavorful, and tender but if I had to pick one it would hands down by the beef steak. One thing to note about the dining experience is that it was uncomfortably hot inside the restaurant. I went on a summer day when it was in the high 80s and the restaurant didn't have AC or a fan... it was a lot warmer inside the restaurant than it was outside. I felt so relieved when I stepped outside.

It did have a lot of sugar, but it was pretty similar flavor-wise to Indian chai (sans milk), so it paired very well with our order. We ordered the chicken suqaar and the beef wrap. We opted for the chapati (sabaayad in Somali) with the chicken suqaar, but would love to try their rice or their version of injera during our next visit! The menu at first glance looks kinda confusing since they have Lunch in big letters on one side with a ton of their dishes and Dinner on the other side with the remainder of the dishes, making it seem like a few items are available during this time... but the Lunch portion just states that it comes with a side of rice, pasta, chapati, or injera (which is the same as Dinner...) so kind of an interesting stylistic choice there, but this is to say that everything on the menu is available the whole time they're open. The meals were so flavorful- the chicken suqaar had a ton of onions, carrots, chicken, green-bean like veggie, and spices, and was served with a green sauce that had kind of a habanero or jalapeno taste to it. The beef wrap was huge and I only ate half of one for dinner- it was flavored so well and the beef was cooked perfectly. This came with a side of the green sauce and a white sauce. I'd love to return and try their injera with chicken, kay kay chicken, beef suqaar or beef steak, and their sambusas! I saw some on another diner's plate and it looked sizable and filling. Jubba is located right next to a VTA light rail and an apartment complex so there's decent foot traffic, but overall, a wonderful place to try and eat!
