    Garlic naan
    Brian T.

Found this place looking for food in this plaza. Spacious area and look like they have a lunch Buffett. Came for dinner and wasn't busy m. Quick service. Started off with Pani puri, the sauce and inside was good but the shell was on the thicker side. The garlic naan was fluffy but didn't really taste the garlic flavor. The butter chicken and masala was tasty but flavors can be stronger. Chicken was tough and dry. Lychee was an interesting taste in the masala. The dosa was the best part. Huge and all the flavors go well all the sauces. Would come back for the dosa. Lots of parking in this plaza.

Ambiance is very warm and the food tastes great. I wish the garlic naan was cooked more to bring out the flavor. Service wasn't the fastest (10+ minutes) and the restaurant wasn't too busy at the time. I would come again. The food in the picture are chicken samosa, tikka masala, classic butter chicken, and goat curry. I left feeling pretty full. If you're a big eater (double-double order at in-n-out + animal fries), you could probably down two orders of traditional curries.

The restaurant is very clean and there are many vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The meats were cooked to a tender point and most of the dishes have a mild heat level. They also have lots of different desserts. There is a mango one that was pretty good. I also enjoyed the unsweetened tea. The goat curry was pretty good. Parking was simple and service was decent. My table was routinely cleared and my water was constantly refilled. It was a comfortable experience as the inside was spacious and easy to move around.

Cozy, good service, plenty of parking, and very delicious food (reasonably priced). About $15-$20/person. Arrived about 5 PM for an early dinner and beat the dinner crowd. This was my first visit but it seems like a popular, local place. The paratha is much better than the naan. Naan seemed dry and not soft. Save room for dessert! Butter chicken and saag paneer are flavorful and not to be missed. Server is kind and efficient. Bookmarked this place because I want to come back and explore more of the menu.

I'm still a regular here, but now I am just loving their buffet. I usually order 2-3 entrees when I come here with my wife. Now I feel like I can have 10+ entrees. Their buffet options are great for vegetarians and meat eaters. They always have one goat and at least a few chicken options. One great standout feature of their buffet is fresh made dosa or naan. For $17.95, their lunch buffet is a great price too. Service here is always excellent. The decor is elegant with many Indians dining here which is always a good sign.

We had them catered to my company and man their jeera pulao and tandoori chicken hit next level. Extremely tender chicken with so much flavor to it. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Their butter chicken is standard fare as is their butter paneer. I'd come back specifically for their tandoori chicken.

I've always seen 8Elements passing this plaza and now I finally got to try it! My boyfriend and I came on a Friday night. It was packed so I already could tell this was going to be good. We ordered the masala dosa, lamb kebob and classic butter chicken with basmati rice. The masala dosa was BOMB and it was so BIG! This was my first time trying it so I'm not sure if this is the usual size but it was big for us! We enjoyed the 4 different sauces. My boyfriend favorite was the coconut (white one, second to the left) and mine was the last one on the far right. The lamb kebob was also delicious! It was cooked well and I always love it with the mint chutney. Of course, the classic butter chicken was classic! This place is definitely my go-to Indian spot. The prices aren't too bad either!

My family has been going to this restaurant for many years. They are our go to catering vendor. Their in restaurant food is amazing. I love their masala dosas and their sambar is very well made as are their chutneys. This is the place that I like to take friends to eat when in the South Bay. I have not tried their buffet, but if it is anything like their catering food then it must be amazing. We always get both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes when we have hired them for catering. They always give us good quantities of food and everyone loves the food. I would strongly recommend both their restaurant and their catering services.

Maybe we didn't order the right things but our experience was just so-so compared to other peoples reviews. The dosa was not as expected. The ones I've had in the past are crispy, this was soft and mushy, almost like a doughy burrito. And the chutney selections were just ok. Paneer Makhni was supposed to be in a creamy tomato sauce but was not that creamy. Kind of watery. Similar situation with the Tikka Masala. The best dish was the garlic naan. I wish I got more of that.

How much is the lunch buffet?

What is the cost of the lunch buffet on Saturdays?

I want to say it was around $20 per person

    Do you have Lunch Buffet?

I have never seen a lunch buffet on offer here

I just dined here yesterday for the very first time and I wanted to know what is the most asked for dish on the South Indian menu? I love how big the portions are. Is there any right or wrong way to eat it?

I wood recommend Dosa but ask them to make it crispy, usually they serve it soft

    Is there big portions?

I would say normal portions like all other restaurants

    Do they serve halal meat?

Yes we do. Lamb, goat and chicken.

Do they have Dosa night every Thursday? The website says so, but when I called they said they don't have Dosa night

    nope

Food we ordered: 1. chicken wings: FYI these are like fried chicken wings, not like buffalo wings. I didn't have any but hubby likes\d them. 2. cheese pizza: there's only a few plain cheese pizzas worthy of a 10 and this is one. The cheese had great pull and I loved the flavor. Crust was so good, and sauce makes or breaks it and this sauce is just so delicious. 3. Butter chicken, but we got ours plain...only got the butter chicken with sauce and the cheese: I think was the favorite thing for both of us. It was so good, but because our favorites were the cheese and butter chicken, the fell to third but it was yummy! We've only recently discovered Mehak of India and decided to order a variety of items for takeout. Their service is impeccable! We ordered Dal Makhni, Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken, Jeera Rice, Garlic Naan,Gobi Manchurian and since I've been on a street food kick lately, some Panipuri. Everything is hands down a 5/5. The butter chicken had a luxurious, creamy sauce , the dal was smooth and delicately spiced, I couldn't get enough of the palak paneer, it was so rich and thick, and I loved the unctuous bite of the cheese. The Gobi Manchurian was a huge hit, everybody said it tasted just like orange chicken. Delicious! My mom and fiancé have a low threshold for spice and had to mention the spice level was tame for them. It was enjoyable for the whole family so that is a major win in my book. Noura is one of the newer Indian restaurants in the Evergreen area, and we decided to give it a try. Overall, I thought it was a good meal with some room for improvement, and I'd rate it around 4 stars. Food (4 stars) + Butter chicken was the standout dish of the night. The flavor is a little different than most other Indian restaurants and has a unique taste that we really enjoyed. The sauce was rich and flavorful. (4.5 stars) * Palak paneer was very good. The curry was creamy, there was a generous amount of paneer, and it tasted freshly made. This was easily another one of our favorite dishes. (4 stars) + We ordered the house specialty, Noura Chicken Curry, because anything with the restaurant's name on it usually deserves a try. The flavor was good and I enjoyed it. (3.5-4 stars) + Kids chocolate dosa is a great dessert for the kids. It was the first dish that came out so next time we'll just ask for it to be made later. ~ The only issue with the Noura Chicken Curry was that the sauce was a little watery. My wife noticed it right away. It didn't bother me as much, but I can see why some people may prefer a thicker curry. - Even though we ordered the butter chicken mild for the kids, it still came out fairly spicy. We asked them to remake it, and while the second version looked a little different, it was still too spicy for one of my kids. Adults will probably enjoy it, but families with younger children may want to ask exactly how mild "mild" is. (3 stars) - One thing we underestimated was the rice portions. We ordered a couple of sides of basmati rice, and it still didn't feel like enough for two adults and two kids. Next time, we'll probably order at least three servings, maybe even four depending on how hungry everyone is. Service/Ambiance (3.5 stars) + The restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms were surprisingly nice. + We arrived around 9 PM on a weekend and were seated immediately, which is always a plus. - Service could use some improvement. The food took a while to come out, and it was difficult to get the staff's attention at times. I ended up getting a few things myself instead of waiting for someone to come by. Overall, I think Noura is a solid addition to the local Indian food scene. The food shows a lot of promise, especially the butter chicken and palak paneer, and I appreciate having another local Indian restaurant in the neighborhood. There are definitely a few things they can improve on, but I'd happily come back and try more of the menu, especially the naan next time around.

The sizzling hot beef plate served with veggies, rice and a salad was unbelievable. add on a lemon and some more greens sauce and you're in for a treat. the rice alone was so flavorful and it tasted like there was meat drippings on top. the beef was so tender and fell apart in 1 bite. I was blown away with the dish the chicken wrap... man. I'm not sure what kind of bread, pita was used but it was fantastic. a huge wrap with lettuce, onion chicken, sauce and other veggies. It was so messy and hard to eat with your hands so we resorted to eating with a fork and knife. Unreal. Unreal. massive portions again which are a theme here. But holy smokes this was so good. The chicken has a nice char, but is also juicy and saucy. the spongy pita neutralizes the bombardment of flavor from the meat, and the veggies compliment everything with some crunch and texture.
