New local Indian restaurant alert! Went there with few work colleagues & enjoyed a quick lunch there. Mostly a good experience & their samosa chaat & chicken malai tikka were bang on! They served chai with gur/jaggery which was a nice treat. But their papri chaat was pretty sweet since they used sweetened yogurt in it. I would probably ask them to make it not so sweet next time. Went back few more times for t/o and it turned out to be a fair affair. Their creamy gravies are bit heavy for our taste but rest of the food is great. They add a surcharge on the displayed menu prices so just be prepared for that. Overall a good option new in the neighborhood. Ambiance: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Food: 7/10 Music: 9/10 Seating: small indoor seating Parking: Ample, free parking available Price: $20-$25 per person

We were in evergreen area and were hungry and this place showed up as nearby Indian restaurant. So we thought of giving it a try and omg! It was hands down one of the best Indian places I have been to. It's not to flashy , very regular looking place but it's a hidden gem . First about the food: We ordered meat samosa ( it contained chicken filling ) , masala chai , chicken tikka kabab ( which came in sizzler tray ) , butter chicken which came with one butter naan ( with additional $2 for naan) , garlic naan , jalebi and boondi... I absolutely loved each and every dish . The Indian style sizzler is something which I never found before in Bay Area , the way they serve back in India , so I was overjoyed to see the sizzling kabab . Samosa was also really yummy and so was butter chicken .Everything was mouthwatering delicious . Staff was very friendly and they prepared everything fresh which was very inevitable due to taste and looks of the food . Multiple parking in the complex, not hard to find at all . The inside of the restaurant was very clean , well maintained . Had multiple seating arrangements and I did see some seating outside as well . The restroom looked ultra clean . They had a variety of Indian sweets and ice cream but we were so full that we couldn't try them. I think I will go there soon again to try them . If you are in the area , don't miss out on trying this place .

Meat samosa's are very Good!. Most unique flavors! When I am here, I am family !

Nostalgic flavors from my childhood in a gelato format? :)…read more I came to Marco Polo on a Friday evening and ordered two small cups for my partner and I. This is my third time at Marco Polo and it really hit the spot. The location is in Vietnam Town, on the far right side, next to Pho 90. When I went this time around, there was no lines but there were still people sitting in the store eating their desserts. Parking here can get tough because of the plaza itself so just a heads up to folks who do not frequent the area. What makes Marco Polo so special is their Asian gelato flavors that you cannot really get anywhere else (that to say a lot of places are now expanding their selections). This was the first spot where I could finally get my hands on durian gelato and it was absolutely delicious. The store itself has around 3 tables for you to sit in and is pretty bare boned. It is good for a grab and go but with the limited seating inside and outside you could spend some time here. Service is quick and you are able to try out some samples. This time around I ordered black sesame and Pandan, while my partner got mango and lychee. It was near close so they ran out of mangosteen unfortunately when I went. While the flavors were great, stood out, and were bold, I will say texturally it was a bit icey for my liking but that might have been because they started crystallizing from being out for a while. Overall, this is a small business I will continue to support!

It was definitely noticeable in the soft serve and made everyone else around us notice it too. The soft serve was smooth and creamy, not icy like cafeteria quality soft serve. The durian flavor was custardy as if it was still in fruit form. It didn't taste like there was only durian essence mixed in, it tasted like there was actually durian blended into a smooth cream that is then frozen and swirled into this nice frozen delight. The ambiance of the shop was cool too. It had a giant mural like painting of a big soft serve in a cone for photo ops and the colors were painted light with blues and pastels for a calming vibe inside the shop. I must come back and try their waffles next time!

The flavor options also cater to the asian palette, in addition to them not being super sweet. My favorites had to be the strawberry and matcha flavors. I tried a plethora of vietnamese desserts as well as some drinks. The matchas were solid and not too artificial tasting with the ube or strawberry combos. Overall great ice cream that i'd highly recommend! Owner was really nice when we went! She's super open to feedback and reminds me of a nice aunty who loves to give you treats lol. Definitely check it out if you want dessert in the area! Plus the place itself is so cute!

The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, and I really liked the decorations inside. It is a comfortable place to sit, chat, and hang out with friends. Our group ordered the avocado smoothie, soursop green tea, and durian soy pudding. The durian soy pudding had that distinct durian smell, but the soy pudding made the overall flavor a little bland. The ratio might have been slightly off. Two of my friends ordered the avocado smoothie and thought it was okay, but they wished it had a stronger avocado flavor. The appetizers were the highlight for me. The popcorn chicken was definitely the best item we tried, and the curly fries were also good. We also ordered a combo with fried fish balls, lobster balls, and fried tofu. It was decent, but nothing really stood out. They have a large menu with several items that caught my attention, so I plan to try something different during my next visit. Overall, Sweet Corner is a nice place to relax and catch up with friends, with good snacks and plenty of drink and dessert options.

The decor feels…read morevery European--there's a large mural with Paris-style buildings and even the Eiffel Tower--but then you look at the menu and it's a mix of both European desserts and Asian chè-style options. It's an interesting blend that kind of works, even if it takes a second to figure out what the "theme" is supposed to be. They offer a wide range of desserts and drinks. On one side, you've got items like tartufo (chocolate, cappuccino, limoncello, pistachio), sorbets, and cheesecake slices in the display case. On the other side, they have traditional Vietnamese-style desserts like sweet soups (chè), grass jelly, black-eyed bean pudding, and combo desserts with things like cassava, jelly, and coconut. There's also a solid drink menu with milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty coffees. I ordered the latte with matcha foam, and while I don't usually go for sweet drinks, this one was definitely on the sweeter side--but still really good. The matcha foam added a nice earthy balance to the coffee underneath. My friend got the three-color iced drink (the one with layered beans and jelly), and if you're into that texture and flavor profile, you'd probably enjoy it. The service stood out. The man helping us (possibly the owner) was very friendly, patient, and took the time to explain menu items, which I appreciated since some of the desserts aren't as familiar if you haven't had them before. The display case also looked well-stocked and clean, with everything neatly packaged and labeled, which made it easy to browse. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're in the area and want something a little different from the usual dessert shops. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is because the concept feels slightly all over the place, but the quality, variety, and service definitely make it worth checking out.
