Came here with some friends on a Saturday night before heading out in downtown San Jose, and it was a great way to start the evening. Parking is what you'd expect for downtown - either paid street parking or a nearby garage. The atmosphere is stylish and upscale, making it a great spot for a special night out. We ordered the mussels, flatbread, Brussels sprouts, and lobster noodles, and every dish was a hit. The mussels were definitely the standout - the sauce was so flavorful and unforgettable that we were tempted to ask for extra bread just to soak it all up. We also really enjoyed the cocktails. To top it all off, we were surprised with complimentary caviar cones from the restaurant, which was such a nice touch. Drinks/cocktails were tasty and I generally liked all the drinks I tried They got two weird rules: 1) Everything must be ordered at the same time so that they can coursify your meal. Def recommend Kofta- not bad. I dunno if the meatballs really went that well with the hummus as it's kind of a dryer dip but I get what they were trying to do. The bruschetta was much better imo Crudo- solid crudo. I've had better quality fish but it still fairly good. Nice dish if you don't want something too heavy and want a lil citrus Scallops- really good but really pricey. Is 2 for $24 . Loved the way it was prepped tho and the wasabi cream sauce. Oysters- also good but also pricey @ $4/oyster. If you hafta make a choice I liked the scallops better Octopus: cooked perfectly. Loved the sauces and flavors as well. I'd skip this Lemon pie: the best dessert. It sounds basic AF but it's really a deconstructed lemon pie using lemon meringue on top. Def creative and tasty. Loukoumades: despite being recommended we prob felt this was the least fav dessert. The dough balls were a bit stale instead of nice soft and fluffy Chocolate sundae: reminded me of a chocolate mojito. It was not bad and the mint created another dimension to the desert but ultimately just way too much chocolate. The ambiance was great - located in dtsj....the place was lively, well decorated, & spacious but still intimate; perf. for a "girls dinner" or "date night" vibe. I came with my girls to celebrate a friend's bday. We had a pretty large group (9 girls) so we made reservations and were seated immediately. Service was great throughout the meal, we got a few comp. Bites and were checked on often. In the end - what it came down to was the food. First off - the menu itself was a bit all over the place - was it Greek, New American, or Asian fusion?? Seemed like it was a little bit of everything...and focused on variety (aka quantity over quality). There was also a good sized cocktail menu - which was a bit more "focused" overall. Let's dig in: (1) Caviar cones (comp) - this was a nice treat, the texture of the cone was good but mousse & roe just became too salty, in the end. (2) Fries - these were ok, similar to steak fries, wish they were a bit more crispy though. (3) Meatballs - also ok, the meatball texture was a bit too mushy inside but flavor was fair. (4) Beets - this was too tart and just too much going on overall. (5) Hummus sampler - this was ok, simple but also nothing stood out. (6) Pork chop - pork chop was cooked well, but over seasoned. (7) Branzino fillets with uni toast - this was odd, the fish skin sadly was not crispy enough, fish itself a bit bland - and then to have uni on that kind of toast...which was just dry & didn't do the beautiful uni any justice. (8) Short ribs - this was not tender and (again) just too salty & over seasoned. (9) Pesto pasta - for so much going on visually, the flavors sadly were underwhelming & a bit mono-tone. Cocktails unfortunately were all also underwhelming- either...too sweet, light (not boozy enough) or tart. Def needed to be more balanced overall. My friends and I heard a lot of good things about Eos & Nyx so we decided to come here for a girls' dinner. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the ambiance was probably one of my favorite parts of the experience. Of course, we had to start off with some drinks. You can never go wrong with an espresso martini and I really liked mine. For food, we started with the pita dip appetizer ($21), which ended up being the standout dish of the night. The dip was flavorful, and the pita was fresh and perfect for sharing. We also got two orders of scallops ($18/order), rigatoni ($45), and a N.Y. strip ($79). While everything was presented nicely and looked appealing, most of the dishes fell a little flat in terms of flavor. Nothing was bad, but nothing really wowed us either. I think that given the price point, it was fair to expect dishes that felt more memorable or unique. The restaurant is great for date night due to its romantic atmosphere. I was impressed at how picturesque this restaurant was. The background looked great in our photos. Oh my fancy. As someone born and raised in San Jose who now lives in Sac and has not visited downtown in a few years, my first thought was, "Where am I? Santana Row?!" When I saw the prices, my expectations were reasonably high (I had to keep asking to see if anyone else would dare to order the most expensive entree -- $79 10 oz NY strip). Everything I ordered (the steak, mussels, tiramisu, beignets) exceeded expectations! I also got to try appetizers that we shared: octopus, pita (with quality fish eggs in the hummus!), a raspberry cream cheese toast -- I know these foods have fancier names, I should have taken a pic of the menu, my bad. But everything was fantastic. Aesthetic, fresh, and a foodie dream experience. They also have palette cleansers!? We had a yummy tea after appetizers and a yuzu mochi bite before dessert. The one entree that did not exceed expectations was the chicken, which was a bit on the dry side. The drinks are also fantastic. The standout dish was probably the raw oysters. The mussels were decent, and the ribs were good, but a lot of the food came out surprisingly cold despite how quickly everything arrived. The kimchi fried rice especially left a lot to be desired. The rice was clumped together and was somewhat mushy and not flavorful at all, which felt disappointing for such a simple dish. The chilaquiles were okay, and the duck leg was probably the strongest cooked dish flavor-wise, but there was only one piece and it wasn't nearly as juicy as I expected. When I saw it was Mediterranean....I was feeling a little biased. I have to say though, I was pleasantly surprised. My friend said it was one of his favorite spots....so went with trusting his judgement. My 2 friends and I came on Sunday around 6:30 pm for dinner and sat in the patio area because my fur babies accompanied us. Would've loved to sit on the inside since it is such a beautiful interior with a chic-low-fi, lounge-y vibe. They brought a cool water bowl out for my pups. Firstly, service was seamless. Our server lady (Ady [sp?]) was amazing. So sweet and checked in with us regularly. She helped set the patio heaters on to our preferred settings any time we needed it adjusted-- so really appreciate that! For wine, I got a great orange-something grenache that had a little citrus zest to make any meal interesting. Secondly, we were so pleasantly surprised when Ady brought out some small dishes/samplers including an Amuse Bouche "Caviar cones". Flavor profile was a creamy rich "sour cream & onions" style with a crunch on initial bite- better to eat it whole, in one bite. She also brought out a "mexican agua fresca"-inspired drink that had mango, pineapple, apple and citrus twist. Was refreshing and not to sweet that it left any syrupy feeling in your throat. Perfect! And the last surprise we got for dessert were cute little round rice crispy treats that wrapped up our meal nicely. From the menu, we ordered the following: 1. crudo daily selection of seafood (tuna)/ curry/ chili/ shallots - we got tuna (very fresh) - a fun play on two contrasting flavors with the sauce. 2. octopus mole negro/ lime/ maiz/ marcona almonds/ coriander - octopus texture was done appropriately (not too chewy or too firm). - The spicy chili adds an exciting kick, but for my spice tolerance level, may have been a bit much - the peanuts add a smoky tinge to the flavor along to the --what I suspect is -- black ink sauce. 3. brussels chili honey/ bacon jam/ tomato/ pickled onion/ house spice - -crisp flakes of brussel sprouds wrapped in a warm flavor of onion and cherry tomatoes 4. n.y. strip 12 oz taro espuma/ black garlic/ bone marrow reduction - this was my fav in terms of taste and visual appeal. We ordered for it to be cooked medium rare. - I've never had a taro-flavored espuma before and what a nice light complement to the tender meat and black garlic sauce. - What was fun was adding dashes of lemon juice over the meat and watching it turn the light purple taro cream into a magenta color instantly. We went here once for our anniversary and they gave us a cute card that was hand signed by all the workers which I thought was very thoughtful! Delicious start! Octopus was 10/10! The sauce was incredible and flavorful! The rigatoni was yummy. I really enjoyed the texture and flavor of the pasta. For food and drink, my boyfriend and I ordered the following: - Old Fashioned & the Jean Claude Pandan cocktail (and later ordered a Paloma) - Beef duo & flatbread for appetizers - Lobster tagliatelle & duck for entrees - Side of brussel sprouts - Lemon pie for dessert My boyfriend's Old Fashioned was great (really smooth, not syrupy), but I didn't love either of my cocktails. I loved the beef tartare and bone marrow combination, but didn't love the rice chips that were paired as I felt the flavor was overpowering and they fell apart easily. If you like the bar, paper plane or mini boss, I think the creators or makers of these drinks have a lot to do with the success of paper plane or mini boss as well. Either have people wait outside entirely or sit at the bar. Server told us the chef recommends ordering an item from each block section so generally, you have a protein aside and appetizer to share with everyone and a pasta/carbs dish. We did exactly that and dinner turned out wonderful. I felt full and satisfied after. The server we had was training and so he had another server stand by his side if he ever needed any help I think the trainee was Korean and had a burn on his forearm. My girls and I came here for dinner on a saturday. We made a reservation and were quickly seated when we arrived. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly. We each ordered a drink. I got the Neon Medusa, and that was so yummy! I love their drinks here and they don't taste like cheap cocktails. My friends got the Jean Claude Pandan and Licensed to Dill, which I thought were both equally as yummy. I ordered the burger for myself and it was pretty good, what you would expect. Overall, great ambiance and great spot for dates, special occasions or just a girls night out. I do have to mention that the food here is pretty pricy but I love the cocktails here. read more

Nice ambience. I made a reservation for 1pm and they gave us the brunch menu, but I was still able to order the caviar cones from the dinner menu since I saw them on Yelp. Everything was tasty and I especially loved the crab cakes. Service was great, they even gave chocolates and a signed birthday card which was such a nice touch. I had come here last year (spring 2025) for my partner's birthday and was very impressed by the food at that time, particularly the lobster tagliatelle and the NY strip. However when I came back for my own birthday this year (spring 2026), I was shocked by the difference in quality. Not sure if they changed chefs, but the dishes are not as good as before and probably not worth the price you pay. This time around, we got the dip trio and the dips were either too salty or not flavorful enough. Then the rigatoni we ordered was dry. Drinks and ribeye were still good though. Had Keep Calm and Crab On, Stuffed French Toast, Chicken & Waffles, Pipikaula Ribs and Flatbread for appetizer. This is more than just eating; it's a dining experience. Keep Calm and Crab On is their version of Crab Benedict. Everything about this Benedict is special and unique. Instead of the traditional lemony hollandaise sauce, it had a brown butter hollandaise. The brown butter's nutty and slight sweetness complemented the crab flavor that you can still taste the crab instead of getting overpowered by the sauce. They use loose real crab meat; not the crab patty type so no fillers. Really good amount of minced crab meat that it's nicely proportioned with the biscuit. Instead of English muffin, they use a big scallion biscuit. The biscuit was toasty on the bottom and the rest was moist with little pockets of honey. The poached egg's yolk was a bit more cooked than the traditional jelly or runny yolk but it did not make this dish any less yummy. Crispy hashbrown on disk shaped. Every part was great. 5/5 stars. The best Crab Benedict I've had and I've had quite a few. The waffle in the Chicken and Waffle was very crispy but at the same time almost flaky. It was not the dense fluffy type but it was easy to eat. It's like a cross between a croissant and waffle. The syrup was lighter than the thick pancake syrup. The waffle is 5/5 stars. The Chicken part of this dish is basically like a Taiwanese popcorn chicken that you can get from a boba place. Bite sized dark meat chicken battered and fried. Served with Sriracha mayo type sauce and syrup. 3/4 stars. The Stuffed French Toast tasted like lemon meringue pie. Sweet lemony filling. The French Toast itself was fluffy but at the same time nicely soaked in custard. Slight cinnamon flavor. It came with a thick slice of bacon which is more like a slice of grilled pork belly that was buttery and umami. 4/5 stars. The Pipikaula Ribs plate had 3 slices of bone in short ribs, kimchee fried rice and two over medium eggs. The short ribs were grilled and looked like the sweet Korean BBQ short ribs but it's more savory with peppery flavor rather than sweet. Tender meat. The genorously portioned Kimchee rice was mostly spicy. 3.5/5 stars because the Kimchee was too spicy to fully enjoy the dish. The Flatbread appetizer had a good amount of mozzarella cheese melted on top soft fluffy flatbread with salty prosciutto slice in between. Topped with perfectly poached egg. Wish they offer fountain soda vs bottled ones. Each dish was eye so pleasing that couldn't wait to dig into it as soon as they landed on the table. Staff, Anna Lisa, was very pleasant and just made us felt comfortable; which was important because it's our first time dining here. Nice comfortable dining room with high ceiling and big windows. Great food with quality ingredients and thoughtfully put together menu, welcoming staff, relaxed ambiance. Will definitely return. read more

Nice location, great indoor ambience, has this rain forest, lush vibe. Food is good with decent price, which is very hard to find in today's Bay Area. Some of their food has a Filipino twist. My favorite is the egg Benedict and duck config. The bread in egg Benedict is crusty outside, fluffy and buttery inside. And the duck is soft inside, and the skin is nicely roasted. What I like a lot is the details they do to get the whole experience elevated. They have the cute happy birthday cards and a hook on the table side to hang the to go bag. The octopus is LIFE CHANGING, literally the best thing ever. Came here on Friday for dinner. It was easy to make a reservation and we were seated quickly. The interior is gorgeous and there is also seating upstairs. The staff are super friendly and attentive as well. This restaurant is very generous, in the sense that throughout your meal, you get lots of free food. For example, we each received a caviar cone, palette cleansing juices, and a dessert jelly cube. The first 2 freebies were very delicious, but the jelly cube wasn't my personal favorite. In terms of food, we got the octopus (MUST TRY), the Brussels sprouts, the ribeye, and the lemon pie for dessert. The octopus had great flavor, was super tender, and was the highlight of the meal. The Brussels Sprouts were good, but very sweet. I was pretty disappointed by the ribeye. Our server hyped it up, but I found it to be very chewy. The flavor also did not come through much. The lemon pie was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. In addition, we also got drinks. They were pretty small, especially relative to the price. Don't remember the name, but the one with dill and yogurt was very good! I'm definitely coming back because the octopus was SO GOOD! read more

Eos & Nyx was such a unique dining experience and definitely one of the most memorable meals I've had in a long time. The service was truly 10/10 -- our waiter gave incredible recommendations, the pacing was perfect, and the overall hospitality was top notch from start to finish. The palate cleansers between courses made the whole meal feel extra thoughtful and elevated. We started with the caviar "mini ice cream cones" and they were adorable, delicious, and such a fun way to kick off the meal. I also ordered the Crimson & Clover cocktail and loved it. For appetizers, we ordered the hamachi crudo special, the meatballs, and the dip sampler -- and honestly, this was the highlight of the meal. Every dish had such unique and well-balanced flavors. Highly recommend all of the appetizers if you go. The entrees unfortunately didn't live up to the same standard. Two people in our group ordered the mushroom burger and all you could really taste was charred mushroom and arugula -- the meat itself barely had any flavor. I ordered the branzino, which tasted good at the time, but if I'm being honest, I did end up feeling like I got a touch of food poisoning later that night. The trout had really unique flavors and was well executed, and the filet had great flavor too, though it was definitely rich and heavy. We also shared the spring risotto, which was super fresh and flavorful, but also very rich and a huge portion. For dessert, we got the beignets and they were delicious. The ambiance was beautiful -- the perfect mix of coastal and Mediterranean vibes. This was my first time at Eos & Nyx and it was amazing! The restaurant itself is beautiful and not too loud inside. The outdoor seating option looked great as well. The food was delicious and I enjoyed all of the bites I had. Our server, Blake, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and friendly - we will definitely ask for him again!
