Parking is available in their small garage but only for 3 hours (validated online with a code Yuan Spa provides). Otherwise there's street parking. Arriving early is a plus to use the washroom or relax in their lounge area with snacks (wasabi peas, banana chips, and honey pretzel sticks) and hot tea. Shoutout to Jessica and Emma for our massages. They were extremely comforting and the hour flew by insanely quick. Hydrotherapy is self guided between a hot pool, cool pool, steam room, and dry sauna. All are soothing but many gyms have these as well, so I'm torn whether it's worth it. However, definitely a nice supplement to other services here in the same location, which is a fair argument. One thing I hate is the check out process. After checking out, they'll ask if "you'd like to add a gratuity" which I always feel is just a darker practice in the social moment. A good massage deserves a tip for quality service, but hydrotherapy feels like an interesting gray area. However, it's easier to just give a percentage on the total amount. On the flip side, I love how they also provide up to 30 minutes buffer after hydrotherapy (maybe also other services, but we ended on hydro) to shower and leave. Passing that half hour mark would result in a charge rounded up to the next hour.

I honestly didn't want the massage to end. The therapist really focused on the muscles that were sore from my workout. I was 100% sure I'd be in pain the next day from how deep she worked, but surprisingly, I left feeling relaxed, had a great night's sleep after dinner, and woke up the next morning feeling even better. No soreness at all. They use unscented oil, which is a big plus if you have asthma or allergies. Plus, they are still running their opening specials where prices are discounted for all different massages. Located in the Overlake Square Mall in the Bel-Red area, it's right next to Dough Zone. I called when they opened and was able to make an appointment for a 90-minute massage that same day, for the late afternoon. For the body massage, you're in a private room and can strip down. However, they also offer foot massages in their main room in a shared space. My masseuse was Jeff and he was very, very good! I lift weights and box everyday, so my muscles are always really sore. Therefore, I really needed a deep tissue massage to get some blood flowing to my muscles and help loosen up. Before Jeff began he asked what level of firmness I wanted and he made sure throughout the entire time I was okay with the pressure. It was definitely what I needed. With COVID-19, all staff were wearing masks and in the private room, the client does not have to wear a mask since they're mostly face down on the massage table. But everything was very clean and they change the sheets and blankets as soon as the client leaves the room. For 90 minutes, it was $75 and for an hour, it was $50 for a body massage in the private room. Great deal! At checkout I was given a complimentary bottled water and a stamp card where after 10 massages you get a free foot massage. I'll be racking up on that stamp card!
