I was then followed outside, and the staff member actually got into my car to prevent me from leaving. I had to physically ask her to get out of my car. Shortly after, the payment went through as expected. I understand wanting to confirm payment, but this situation was handled in a way that felt extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable -- especially toward a long-time customer who was clearly trying to pay. She then asked if I had booked a 60-minute massage. I told her I had booked 90 minutes. She seemed surprised and repeated, "90 minutes?" I told her that if 90 minutes wasn't appropriate because I was pregnant, I was okay with changing it to 60 minutes. About 20 minutes into the massage, while she was working on my left arm, I noticed she was using only one hand and seemed distracted. Her phone kept buzzing near my head, and it felt like she may have been texting. A little later, she apologized and stepped out of the room to greet what sounded like a walk-in customer. I heard her say, "Can you wait 10 more minutes?" When she came back, she asked me, "Is 60 minutes okay?" I was confused because we had already discussed that earlier. It made me feel like my appointment was being shortened to accommodate the walk-in customer. I looked at the clock and noticed there were only about 15 minutes left, and my back hadn't been worked on at all. I assumed she was saving it for the end, but unfortunately, she never massaged my back. The one area I specifically requested--both in my online booking notes and in person--was completely skipped.
