Things to consider: They had good dark lighting and music to set the mood for relaxation, but you can still hear traffic outside. This didn't bother me, but if you're someone who doesn't want to hear that I recommend earbuds. There's a dispensary downstairs and you can smell it lightly, so if you're sensitive to that be aware you can slightly smell that. Not their fault, just is one of those things. The price is pretty great. I shopped around and I saw how massages can range quite a bit. This was on the lower average scale. After we were done it felt really awkward though because there was no side chat of any kind. It was just okay you owe this much. We paid and I was waiting for a receipt, but she was just like "okay". So, we just sort of turned around to leave. I must have said thank you like 4 times between the end of the massage and paying lol. When we were leaving my husband's masseuse gave us some water and said "have a nice day" and that was the end of our experience. It was all fine, but not overly welcoming. I was then lead through a locked door, then into the first door on the right. when she left me to get myself comfortable i noticed an open cabinet with a bottle of astroglide (intimate lube) which was 3/4 of the way gone next to a bottle of regular massage oil. If that wasn't strange enough, the massage was unprofessional and the atmosphere was just plain awkward. When the massage was over, i began getting dressed and noticed the mirror on the wall. I did the "no space leave the place" test, where you put your fingernail up to the mirror and if there's no space in between it's a two way mirror, and there was NO SPACE. The mirror was fastened tightly to the wall which caused even more alarm. I went out and asked if i could see the womans' masseuses license and I.D. which she provided, however, the scenario was waaaay too strange and i informed the Port Hueneme police department.
