We stopped in today and visited many stores; Kendra Scott, Bloomingdale's, and the toy store to check out jelly cats. This mall is fabulous and the Christmas decorations are great. We'll definitely come back to check out other stores.

The Northern Cali Girl is in Downtown Chicago at 900 North. Let's jump right into this review. 900 North is a mall with high end shopping. Surrounded by hotels and restaurants. I visited the mall during the Fleurs de Villes, curated collection of signature fresh floral mannequins created by top local floral designers, all inspired by the show - Downtown Abbey - unforgettable characters and iconic period fashion. Pretty cool concept. 900 was my lunch spot getaway. Walking distance from my hotel. Aster Hall is their food court. Quite different from the food courts in Cali. They have an open salad bar and many food options. The mall is asethically pleasing. Very modern and clean. It has six levels. Easy to get around using the escalators, rather you going up or down, it's smooth sailing. The decor and vibe made me a fan. Having lunch, shopping, or taking a moment to sit and enjoy your surroundings are all things you can do at 900 North.

High end shops here. Right on Michigan avenue. Stores are easily accessible and the whole building is beautiful. There a concierge who can direct you to the right store. Parking is not good here. Take public transport or Uber or Lyft. There are parking garages nearby and street parking but you have to pay. Park Chicago mobile app says $4.75 per hour to park on the street. Garage parking is about $15 in by 5pm and out by 1am.

The magnificent building is right across the street from the beautiful Landmark Sears Tower / Willis Tower building, it has high-end Department stores: Bloomingdales Department store, J.crew, Gucci, Four Seasons Hotel, Lululemon Athletics store, L'Occitane en Provence, Maxmara, Banana Republic store, etc shops, I love the interior design it's gold inside with beautiful digital-Graphic Computerized screening roof on six floors, you can tell you in a high-end building. Across the street on Michigan Avenue, there is a Louis Vuitton Store and Roberto Coin Jewelry shops, etc High-end Boutiques, There a Neiman Marcus & Saks Fifth Avenue Department store south of Michigan Avenue ( I didn't have a chance to go inside Saks Fifth Avenue, but I did pass thru Neiman Marcus front door dough get, and the Red Line CTA subway line is very close and there also a CTA bus system nearby as well !!!! P.S.: Make sure you read my review of Bloomingdales Department Store!!!!

Visited this place for an event at Kendra Scott inside the 900 N Michigan shops. Store looked clean and good. Even thought the event was at night there are people cleaning and mopping the floor. I noticed there are several luxury brands in the building including Lululemon, Gucci and more

This is a very luxury, high-end shopping mall found on the famous Magnificent Mile in Downtown Chicago. You'll find many stores like Gucci and Bloomingdale's here. They even have a "New Music School" location which gives music lessons to children and adults, and even sells sheet music for all instruments. Cool! Washrooms are also very clean here and overall, the place is modern and well-kept, just like what you'd expect out of a high-end mall like this one. There is also an excellent food court here where you can order food from anywhere in the world. I decided to have some shoyu ramen while here and it was of very high quality. Definitely left feeling more than satisfied with what I saw here. Don't skip this place. It might be easy to but don't. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

I first came here with Mitch. Then I came with Barbie. Then wanna know why I came to 900 North with Mitchagain? Shops! If you're shopping at any of the shopping centres in the loop in downtown Chicago then you have to have money. That, or you're browsing when you want to basically check out how the other 1% live. I mean let's face it it's not the other half. That wouldn't make any sense at all. I sometimes wonder how there are enough rich people to warrant these shopping malls in the Loop and sometimes this one, or North Bridge, seem a little quiet - but the other one, Water Tower Place, seemed really busy. This one is perhaps the most bougie of all but has been quiet on both the times I've been in here. It feels lavish and elaborate much like I'm all in Dubai or something. I meant a Mall in Dubai, but if I'm all in Dubai with Barbie then we're probably making a ton of money. The main issue for me other than the high prices of everything inside it, is the high price to park.

It is always a pleasure to getting there. The place is beautiful and clean. A lot of brands and a very good food court on the top floor. The coffee downstairs is my favourite.

It has been quite some time since I've been to the 900 N. Shops and let's just say they've had a serious glow up! Beyond chic and loaded with fabulous high-end boutiques and their new food area on the upper level is just brilliant. The anchor store, Bloomingdale's, has also made major improvements. Probably the nicest shopping center in the entire city! A great Chicago experience, and much better than tacky Water Tower Place!

This is an incredibly "upscale" collection of businesses with a new food court. I do love the kitchen and cooking classes at Sur La Table that I have participated in during the past few years. They offer a discount to shop in the store after taking the class which is nice. I still use some of the recipes that I have from the courses, especially the Thai Dumpling/Pot Sticker Recipe on a regular basis. There is a new food court on the top two floors called Aster Hall which offers a variety of food venues include access to "still" or "sparkling" water on-tap. There are leather seats and clean tables surrounding the two levels for patrons to enjoy their meals.

Other levels have 2-3, maybe 4 stores. There is an Asian-inspired food place on the lobby level (I didn't try it). Te'amo, a well-known tea spot is located on level 2. The Hershey store is located on the lobby level as well (separate entrance). Te'amo - Waited about 5 minutes before an employee appear from the back to prepare my order that I placed through the kiosk. The tea was decent. The employees in Akira and the Lego Store was excellent. I was greeted immediately and offered assistance. Even some small talk about what brought me in and offering their name and future assistance if required. For me, there is no excitement to return. Hard pass next time I am in Chicago. The highlight was the Lego store which is what drew me to the Water Tower originally. I am Lego geek. This place reminds me of old Route 66 in the Cars movie #dead.

There's about three floors that are similar to a mall with multiple shopping areas and a food court. There is one sit down restaurant that has a huge bar and views over the river. If you're staying at the Holiday Inn downtown or the Voco downtown, there's a convenient walkway over the street so you don't even need to go outside. The food court has a huge variety of quick service restaurants: salads, barbecue, sushi, Chinese, sandwiches, and fried chicken. Multiple restaurants allow you to order food ahead and pick it up so you don't have to wait in long lines. Most of the building is office space so if you're here around 8 or 9 AM, lunchtime, or 4 to 6 PM, it's crazy busy. There are a couple entrances that have those rotating doors. My first morning here I was entering from the street level through one of those and a lady behind me came and pushed the door really fast. It was all I could do to step out the door without having to go around again. She then rushed by me and almost ran up the escalator. She must have been late for work compared to me, a wandering tourist. If you're in the area, check this place out.

Efficient in layout and clustered on one floor, the showrooms range from spotlessly minimal ro chaotically cluttered, but that's part of the charm. The showrooms at the Apparel Center are staffed by helpful and honest people, and I can often see them within a day or two's notice.
