Attended for a family get together a few days ago. WAY overpriced. I really enjoyed the ambiance of run down Sears backrooms with a new bowling system shoe-horned into the place. Staff was disengaged. I didn't even touch the food considering everything else I saw. The half-finished paint job that's been there for over 8 months mixed with the 90s food court cup colors really made me feel at home. I also appreciated the broken arms on the chairs, and the random half booth and table. The bar felt like a Mexican restaurant. And don't get me started on the worst Spotify-free music playlist I've ever heard. It was vulgar, completely no-name artists, and was just depressing. Top notch ceiling tiles too. We went here for a birthday party and this was disappointing. We were told they don't do reservations on the weekends, which is understandable. However, the alley was maybe half full on a Saturday. I planned to bring a cake and then told there's a $15 cake fee that offered no paper plates nor utensils. They do serve food, there's a bar in the back along with an arcade and prizes. When we arrived, they were out of pizza, then maintenance had to fix our lane several times because the bowling balls got stuck and the screens froze up. While they do have the essentials for a bowling alley, the alley in its entirety could definitely use some cleaning (the restrooms were filthy) and renovations. read more

The place was incredibly dirty, the service wasn't bad but it wasn't great. They were out of stock in just about anything, even fountain drinks The lanes were old and clearly did not work, the ball return system was faulty and the pin return system would stop working randomly at some points. We could not get a refund on the second game we didn't play, and were told it was because of policy. Absolutely amazing place. The friendliest staff ever, great people. Ms. Denise helped us get our lane ready and was very kind. When we needed drinks, the GM, Ms. Nancy, was super helpful and sweet. They both even came and checked on us at our lanes & even when we decided to have some fun in the arcade to make sure we were doing okay! The prices are great here, the pizza was delicious, and the bowling was super fun and easy to get started. Y'all bring your friends and come relax and have a good time. Worst experience ever. Yelp reviews are more accurate than the Google reviews left about this business. I left the comment below and received a response from the business when I privately messaged via messenger on Facebook. They said someone named Jose would call me, that was Oct 17th. I reached out Oct 30th for a follow up. I have received nothing. I was told Christy Forrest is actually the owner and requested her, still no follow up. Would not recommend for African Americans Church Youth groups. Or black people. My review from Oct 11th 2025 visit : Took a church youth group here of 17 children and 10 adults. First the manager and her people skills were not at work tonight. How do you charge a youth group of majority kids over $400 to bowl 6 lanes and that did not include the food purchased separately. The manager was also extremely condescending and magically forgot that she told me Saturday October 4th at 6:05pm that whatever time we confirmed, we must be there on time or our lanes would be given away. Also she magically forgot that she quoted the shoe rental to the dime which I had notes from our conversation but I see I should have requested it in writing. I do not recommend this establishment for church youth groups although their website clearly states that they discount youth groups. This establishment could use consistent language on line, verbally and better accommodations for large youth groups with comparable pricing. read more

Went today and we had all kinds of problems. 3 of us took 2 hours to bowl 2 games. Many times there would only be 7-8 pins instead of 10. The ball took 3-5 minutes to return. There was very little help from the young lady that was working the counter. We will never go back read more

This was a good bowling alley but no longer. One person waiting on MULTIPLE people on a Saturday afternoon. Shoes were old and stretched out and falling apart - we needed bumpers - had to wait behind 14 people to get them put up after we'd asked once before. Ball return was almost non existent - an actual person could have been faster - lane got stuck more times than I could count. No soap in the ladies room nor paper towels. Will not be returning - we will go to Bartlett- and that's sad because we live less than 10 minutes from this one. Fix your alley and hire more people. read more

Well, I was going to head there this weekend, but I've called multiple times over several days, using the number listed here and on their website, and no one ever answers. It rings until it gets to the voice mail, which of course isn't even set up. If their ability to answer the phone during their business hours is any indication of the quality of their lanes and service, then this is a very poor place to go for any reason. Given that they had to buy fake reviews to bump up their score here it speaks very poorly as well. All in all, there must be better places to go, so don't go to 901. read more

Constantly being switched to different lanes due to equipment failure. Had to wait for them to fix the gates while our time was counting down without compensation. Staff and owner took it as a burden to assist us with this. Overall do not recommend whatsoever. read more

My son and I decided to go bowling at the last minute. I looked up nearest ally and we decided to give funquest a try. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because they need some serious upgrades. The ball return kept getting the balls stuck, its not the modern look like the other alleys around On everything! It doesn't stop me from going but I would definitely take the family more often if it was a little bit more up to date. I think this place has a lot of potential. If they can put some money in it or find an investor that will help them. I truly enjoyed the helpful employees and the family atmosphere not drama from the over crowding. I found the manager was very helpful and I recommend people to visit this bowling alley. They are remodeling and their bowling prices are reasonable. Upgrades look great! We ordered pizza and it was hot and good. My church will continue to visit. read more

Great place to plan an adult birthday party! I hosted my husband's 40th birthday party in the bar area with a fun theme - "80's hair bands!" Thomas at the bowling alley was great to work with from start to finish. He was on the ball during the entire planning process, bending over backwards to make sure it was all seamless. He even offered to help hang our decorations to cut down on the amount of work I had to do. They also created a special cocktail for the evening, which everyone loved. And every team member was so professional and accommodating on the night of the event. Side bar: the pizzas were way more delicious than I was expecting for bowling alley pizza, lol. We just left the bowling lanes and had a lot of fun. Prices weren't too bad, the lanes worked correctly, and we visited the arcade. Friday night 6:00 pm. Lane 24 for 1 hour, 3 pairs of shoes for $30.00. I thought this was very reasonable. I'm not really sure what the price breakdown was for the lanes and the shoes, but I kind of expected 30 for the hour and more for shoes. The equipment, whatever its called, however it works, performed properly, and we didn't lose any of our time we paid for waiting for malfunctions to be corrected. When I got there,I wanted beer. There happened to be a line that seemed to take forever, there were two bartenders, but the good news is that I was able to buy 3 beers at once, and I was given a bucket of ice, so I never had to wait in the line again. The weird thing is, the bartender thought it necessary to remove all the beer caps at once. They checked my id and gave me a wrist band, which I suspect is a way to prevent a purchaser from sharing with underage teens. Or rather,a way to catch underage drinkers. The arcade was very antiquated. There is a photo booth that charges 3 bucks for a single picture. I thought these were obsolete. Who wants a 3 dollar selfie????? The arcade also was small. There were a couple games not working which took our money. There are signs saying you are shit out of luck losing money to a machine that steals because they don't own the machines. This is such BS. I bet they own the money that goes into the machines. Besides, someone owns the machines. Actually I really don't care who owns what, the bottom line is that if there are machines that only take money and do not perform, it is basically theft to leave them open to the public and deny any responsibility without even removing the machine from service. The arcade was also too small and the games were old. There is a bar that is separated from the rest of the building for the grown ups to hang out in. Bad thing is, this would be perfect for smokers, but sorry, not allowed. There was an armed security guard. Don't know how much protection he could actually provide, or if he is actually full time, but there was no sign on the door restricting citizens from carrying their own weapons. I drank three beers. I was unarmed. But I would be willing to bet there were at least a dozen firearms inside. I was able to feel comfortable having children and an infant. I think the guy bowling next to us had something under his shirt. I look forward to returning another night. We did not try the skating. It's been over 20 years, but it does sound fun. read more

If I could give this place a 0, I would! Never in my life have I ever experienced an establishment like this. When we were trying to get there, we couldn't even find it not to mention the fact that once we got there, most of the doors​ were locked! We headed to the counter to get a lane and even though an employee was just standing there at the computer doing nothing, they just ignored our existance. Finally got our lane after many minutes of waiting. After we put out names in the machine, the lights were off for the lane so we weren't sure if it was even working. We decided to just try it so we started our game. Once we got started, the game was running smoothly for a good 5 minutes before it all started going downhill. The lane broke down multiple times and when we asked for help, the workers did nothing. Some people's turns were skipped because of the numerous malfunctions that were going on! Even the vending machine was so awful. I wouldn't recommend this bowling alley to anyone. We left before we even finished 1 game. Disappointed is not even the right word to explain how bad this place was. Never coming back! read more

This is not a bowling that you want to check out. We've been here a few times and it just doesn't seem to get any better. I took the family for night out. The pizza was burned and the pitcher of drink was leaking because it had a crack in it. We spent more time waiting for them to retrieve our bowling balls than we did actually bowling. We finally got them to move us to another bowling lane that actually worked. If you have issues with your bowling lane, and you probably will, it takes forever for someone to come the counter to help you. We rented the lanes for 2 hours but we ended leaving early because it was a waste of time and it just wasn't fun. This is an ok bowling alley but not one that I would recommend. I would recommend any of the other 4 bowling alleys in the area before I recommend this one. read more

Edit to my original review: I am downgrading this place to a 1 star review. The last couple months at Funquest have been HORRIBLE! It took them months to get their air conditioner fixed. The end of summer was miserable if you tried to bowl there. The new manager of Funquest is a horrible horrible person. The lady apparently hates making money, and she apparently loves cheating people out of their money. We recently went to Funquest on a dull Saturday evening. We entered at 10 PM as a group of 7 people. The sign on the door clearly stated open until Midnight. We were each charged for 2 hours of Cosmic Bowling. At 10:45, the manager approached each group in the building, and told them they had to leave by 11. We, as well as 4 other groups, approached her at the desk with our receipts that showed we were charged for time until midnight. She told us we all had to get out. She refused refunds, and threatened to call the cops when we kept insisting an hour needs to be refunded to us. This woman is a crook who does not care about her customers. She also stunk of alcohol that night. This woman should not be in any sort of management position. If you want a fun night of bowling, please, choose somewhere else. Do not give this place your money as long as this manager is in charge. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First off, I am an avid bowler. I visit Fun Quest on a weekly basis. The staff is very nice and the lanes are well kept. The last month Fun Quest has been awful to visit though. Their A/C was knocked out during a storm, and they have been without it the last 4 times I have visited. It is mid summer and way way too hot to be bowling without A/C. I leave there absolutely drenched in sweat. They need to get the A/C fixed ASAP. It is hard bowling when you cannot get your hands dry from sweat. Other than that I love FunQuest. We also love going during cosmic bowling on the weekends. The prices are good and it is a lot of bang for your buck. The pro shop there is also super helpful! Great family spot for a good time. This place is very family friendly and a good pick for those that are serious bowlers or those just going for a good time. Lanes work well, facilities are clean and neat. There is a bar for those wishing to have a nice beverage. I particularly like that they sell more than beer. Food is good too. The staff and service are great. If you have the pleasure of meeting Nancy while there, she is the best. She has always taken great care of my family and we look forward to our weekly visits. Ok...so if you like a fun and malfunction free game of bowling with attentive workers on hand this is definitely not the place to be. Upon arrival, there were no workers on hand...at all...anywhere. After 10 minutes a guy comes in and says, "what, do you need something?" "Uh, yes please...a lane and some shoes for three." "Oh, you wanna bowl?" "No, I'm here for skeet shooting!" We got a good deal for three, shoes and lane for 5 a piece for 1 hour. However, a good bit of time was spent searching for a worker to fix the messed up pin setter and to retrieve stuck bowling balls. We needed a kids 6 ball and guess what? Yup, no workers around. I finally found all 5 of them in a break room on cell phones. I seemed to have agitated them for some help. So sorry to take you away from your Facebook and phone games in the break room to help us! Food, nah...it looked really dirty and dark and oh yeah, NO WORKERS available...skipped it. We made the best of it and our 6 year had some fun. We decided to check out some Laser tag. We paid 15 bucks for three games and no one seemed to know how to work the the Laser vests. Haha. I showed him how. He didn't know how to set the course up either. Hhhmm, "I asked if he was trained." He says, "nope, not for over here." Wow!!! I say, "really, then why are you working here?" He kinda mumbled something incoherently. We finally get in the room and our guns don't work. The guy says, "I know we have a vest or two working somewhere." To which we change and then a second time around, no workie for the vesties. At this point we are done. We need a refund, no manager, haha. He is on the other side. We are told by him, second hand, that all guns and vests work. Curious, because six vests just really didn't work out in two separate tries. Oh well, money please. "Didn't you pay with debit...because I don't know how to do that...will you take cash back?" "Sure, your drawer will be short but I wanna leave." So we do. Please don't go here. It's dirty, run down and not clean. Games don't work, lanes don't work and shoes are horrible. Haha. The cooking staff is great but there is a red headed girl that works in the front that is sarcastic and not working/ on her phone the whole time . She needs to find another job where she is happy and enjoys working. The lanes are great but the bowling balls do not have big finger holes. I do not get the rule of the teenagers can't have bumpers and can't have the 8 pound ball. This is close to my house and that's the only reason I go. These people need to remember that they are the face of the bowling alley and there actions reflect their business. Their no refunds thing is terrible. My kid wasted 5 bucks in the arcade with the machines that didn't work. This could be a great bowling if they made these little changes that make a big impact read more
