Overall, a great experience. I did visit during Spring Break, on a Wednesday, so that was a "double whammy". (Wednesdays are discounted bowling days). The wait was around 2 hours due to that but I think that shows how popular this place is. I didn't get to try the food because my group went to get another option while we waited our 2 hours (plenty options close by) but the wings looked amazing and from what I hear, they are. They didn't turn the lights out to do the cosmic bowling but that was ok. The lanes were nice and maintained and provided consistent rolls. There is also a game room and places to sit while you wait. When I first moved to Southaven. I used to enjoy bowling here. I'm not sure if something happened here within the past 7-8 months but it has changed a lot. I wanted to kick off my birthday/Easter weekend with a competitive game of bowling w/ my s/o. We arrived at 5 pm for our reservation. Checking in was easy (there was no line). When we got to our line- we noticed there weren't any servers coming around. So, I went to the desk to ask about it. I was told there are undergoing renovations so I would need to place orders at the counter (why couldn't they tell us this when we arrived?). When we went to place our order- we asked for a pitcher of beer- they didn't have any (WHAT????) again, not a big deal but WHAT???? lol. Anyways, we ordered bottle beers and I got a Mike's Hard Lemonade. In the past, we would order the nacho platter- which we loved except during our last visit in August 2023, we were served staled chips... YES, They were stale and the server tried some and agreed! We always order the nacho platter, even though, it's two of us and we don't finish it... so we placed an order for the nacho platter (which costs about $25). When they told us our total- I knew they did not give us the correct nachos. The cashier told us "we dont have that" but stated they had a small nacho deluxe that comes with everything the platter has (No, TF it does not!!!) When our beeper went off and my honey went to get our order... I was pissed. The nachos came in some plastic hot dog container with barely any meat or toppings. ATP, I'm irritated and I didn't want to eat it. Around 6pm we noticed some (possibly armed) security guards in orange jackets.... Huh?! Wtf?! By 6:30 pm- the bowling alley was getting quite packed. Usually during the disco bowling, the lights are out except for the neon lights. Well not anymore! It was fully lit! Again, I don't know what has occurred there but damn! Kids night out! Had an amazing time at Strike Zone. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a lane to open which was fine, we spent our time playing pool while we waited. There is beer and a little concession stand for food. Not bad! There's also an arcade for smaller kids. The crowd died out about 9ish so it was as crowded but still with a good crowd of people. I'll definitely be back because I lost a game of pool to a 13 year old! Lol read more

We came for a little family outing on a Sunday afternoon. I used to bowl in a league here years ago and when I did it was fairly new and well kept. Fast forward to 2017 and it seems it's exactly as it was back then except now it's beginning to show signs of being a run down facility. They were fairly busy, but not near full. We waited in line for a good bit when we got there and the whole process seemed slow. When I go to pick up my shoes I get this, "size?" I'll need 11.5. "Oh I have a 10 and a 13 but nothing else". I would think that you would keep enough of each shoe to be sure that everyone that shows up has a pair. He told me I could just wear tennis shoes. Have you ever tried to bowl in sticky tennis shoes? Almost all of the balls are chipped, cracked, and very old. I don't feel they have enough selection of ball weights either. Their lanes are equipped with bumpers for little kids not to roll gutters every time. Only half of one side of ours worked on our visit. The lane we were on had a horrible dip at the end of the lane that made the balls pull to the far left when slowly rolled balls approached that spot. It was like a magnet on the left wall. After we finished bowling we headed over to the arcade. What a joke! Only about half of the machines worked and some that weren't marked out of order were still taking money and not responding. The air hockey table was actually hazardous. I wish I had gotten a picture. It had giant pieces of metal pulled away from were you retrieved the puck. My kid had to stick her hand down into the mangled machine to just get the puck out. This used to be a nice place to spend some family time but now it's just meh. I'm not sure if we will return. read more

Came here for the 1st time and it was ok I guess. Had to wait a little over an hour in the arcade until the bowlers finished their tournament. I went to ask about when a lane would be available and if I could reserve one and the guy was like "no information is gonna be given out until that time" in a rude way but whatever something to brush off. I hadn't been bowling in about 10 years or so, maybe more, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Turns out bowling hasn't changed much. I went on a Saturday, when they have a $15 all-you-can-roll from 9p-midnight. (They do this friday and saturday nights) They call is Boogie Bowl or something, and the reason for that is immediately apparent. They play music at a ridiculous level. If you like really loud music, then this is the time to be there, but you'll basically be hoarse from yelling to your friends to be heard over the music. Everything seemed really clean and nice, no real problems to speak of. The place is PACKED on a Saturday. I arrived at 9p and asked if they had any open lanes. They asked me to wait a few minutes to allow all their reservations to arrive, and then they'd see if they had a lane for me. It fills up fast when you're letting people bowl for $15 for 3 hours when normally it's $4 a game. I found their ball assortment to be lacking, at least on the end of the building I was on. Also the technology (Screens to show scores, etc) was kind of dated. That could use an update. I didn't try anything from the snack bar, but it was really busy, so my assumption is that it's probably good. But it was good family fun, aside from the volume of the music, they didn't play anything too offensive that parents might object to. A better choice of nights might be Wednesday when they do $1 games. read more

Been here twice for "boogie bowling" Friday and Saturday 9pm-12am $15 for unlimited bowling and shoe rental. They serve drinks and pizza from what we've seen. Well possibly our mistake was we went on a Wednesday at 1pm but I'd have thought it was slow enough that a single mom and 2 kids wouldn't disturb anyone and or be too much trouble..... WELL WRONG. Our lane repeatedly messed up keeping our balls, lane not racking the pins, and bumpers sticking. So I went up to the counter said we were having some malfunctions and we would play some games while they fixed it. We went and played some games where machines were all out of tickets. By this time my kids are whining saying "this is the worst everything is broken" (this is their first bowling experience). So I talk them into going back and trying bowling again after getting disappointed by the games and we get back to the lane and it's still NOT fixed. We go back up to the counter again. They get it going we bowl alittle our balls get suck (we just picked out more at this point). I hope my kids give bowling another try but they weren't thrilled. The place is very clean and well kept. The bowling lanes are nice and it is a fun time. However, the african american lady at the concession stand is rude as can be. She will give you attitude every time you ask a question and doesn't care to be there. When you order drinks she will take forever making them and roll her eyes when a customer is at the concession stand when she has to get up and help them. I really did enjoy this facility at first. Nice atmosphere. Clean. But then after spending two hours drinking beers with our peers my husband was singled out for not having an arm band on and drinking. Our other friends who were white did not have an armband on and somehow they were never questioned about not having an arm band. We were all the way on the other side of the bowling alley and there were at least three other groups who also did not have an armband on. But somehow that girl was able to completely disregard them and come straight to him. And then moments later a janitor came to ask us if we had made the mess that was in a entirely different lane. HORRIBLE- absolutely horrible. It may have been nice when it was first opened, but it needs an overhaul from the so-called arcade to the employees! It is a shame that a place in the location that it is, has gotten so run down. The arcade has 90% of games not working, USED TOYS in the machines(stuffed animals looked like they had been taken out of a dumpster), if machines did not have an out of order sign- it needed one after it took your money. The man who takes your money and who is apparently "over the teenagers" needs an attitude adjustment. 7 people with 3 children who came in different vehicles, paid separately, should NOT have been required to use the same lane! It cost over $60 JUST for our family of 4 to play ONE GAME! When I asked the man why was it that we had to use the same lane, considering we had 3 little ones with us and he knew it would take longer, and we all weren't EVEN TOGETHER?? His reply, "That's just how it works." He didn't care that the bathroom was disgusting, the floors were covered in dirt, & there was enough grime on everything to cover a small compost pile--- but he made sure to let us know how "it worked" when he took our money. I doubt the owners even read these or facebook for that matter- but if I owned that place, I'd be very embarrassed that I let it get that bad. read more

I had my daughters birthday party there and it was horrible. No one knew what was going on and it was a poor experience based on the amount of money it cost to have the party.
