There are two levels for a driving range and over the weekend it was busy but manageable. Unfortunately, they charge a lot for a large crate of balls at the driving range and I wish that they would lower their prices for Alaska residents at least but all in all, it's definitely worth it. The driving range was great to be able to hit your drivers on a golf course with friends. The virtual golf course technology is old and it took us a while to figure out how to add multiple players but at the end of the day it's great to be able to work on your swing and use your own drivers so it was great and at this time $35 an hour.

It is in better repair than their other park. The staff is pretty nice , the bathrooms are a tad gross, but we'll have you ever told a teenager to clean a bathroom and that elicited a pristine result? Most of their video games work. The vending machines are definitely hit or miss.. If you can afford an Alaska Club membership then the place is a deal. Free passes for the kiddo every day if you are a member there.

I know they watch pretty good over cameras to take care of any rough behavior that we experienced the first time with a kid that was probably right on the cusp of being too old. Second time was nice with all 1-2 year olds and they can run, climb and crawl. You have to pay 1$ to get in for a family of 4 and the times vary so check the website ahead of time. This summer 2026 they are moving the time to start at 12 noon and ending some time later in the afternoon, probably due to summer camp type usage of the room. I would definitely take my son back here it is a good time. This building has lots of other uses like pickelball, tennis, and other activities.

She finally said she wanted to go and then there happened to be the player assistant from hell. We teed off at 4:20. We were hounded on every hole up to the 6th to play faster or best ball. I have played so many rounds in my life and thought we were playing super fast. I looked at the clock and it was 5:30. We had played 6 holes in 1:10. Pretty fast! The lady just saw she was hitting it 125 yards and assumed we were slow and so she needed to constantly complain. We were on the 9th hole and the new player assistant had just taken his shift, Danny. He looked down at his clipboard and noticed the time we were at and said you're on an awesome pace. I then said you should tell the other lady that because she was so constant on us that she made my wife cry on hole 3 because she didn't know any different! Danny did encourage her and make her feel better but it's terrible that I've tried so hard to push my wife to play and there are terrible employees out there like this. Finished 9 holes in 2:10

The greens will improve with time, but they are certainly playable. I've seen a lot worse in the lower 48. The staff has obviously taken great measures to get the course in shape. Excellent fairways and rough. Extremely enjoyable pace of play. Professional and courteous staff. If I make it back before summer ends, this will be top of my list to play again.

That experience stuck with me, and it's been about 25 years since I last went. Recently, I purchased up a new firearm with some "Gucci" accessories, and I just wanted to test how it handled and get back home quickly. Rabbit Creek was my only option, so--reluctantly--I went. Next to me was a group that looked like they were enjoying their first time at the range. When the RSO called a cease fire, they were a bit confused, fumbled around, and didn't raise their hands as expected. I braced myself, thinking, "Here we go--this RSO's going to throw their weight around." The RSO simply walked over and explained the procedure. They listened, understood, and complied. He did hang until the range was hot. It was a completely different vibe than what I remembered. Keep in mind there are some new firearm owners here. Be aware, help them if needed. Be a 2A friend.

The Play Palace sits in the nearly dilapidated midtown strip mall. They are nearest REI, right next to Kawaii Nails. It's a basic set up. There's a table/chair area with most of the space dedicated to the play area. They are obviously just getting started but they have all the right elements to thrive. The Play Palace staff are welcoming, cleanliness is prioritized, costs are affordable, and the kids seem to enjoy themselves. We will continue to support, in hopes it'll continue to improve. It would be nice if they rotated equipment in the way First Cup Playhouse does, every so often.

First off he is a fantastic front of house person he was energetic and very fun. Normally the room we played which was ravens eye is played with 6-10 people with a 30% escape rate. We did it with just two people and let me tell u it wasn't easy!!!! But I used to be a room tester so I'm generally more advanced than most people at these things. I would suggest at least 4 people with this room. This is one of those must try places if you visit anchorage. You will not be disappointed with the multiple escape room!

However, one of the women I'm seeing is into novel experiences (and is also a good dancer, TBH) and I wanted to hang out with her this week so...there I was. There is a free beginner dance lesson every Wednesday. The instructors are good, really good. Arguably too good. I'm such a n00b that I didn't understand most of the jargon. Jargon that most people have probably known since middleschool. I guess I just need a "total n00b" class to be offered in the future. Anyway, I'm trying to challenge myself so, I still tried. I *kind of* got the dance. My steps were innacurate and but I didn't run into anyone and my timing was A-OK. It was a really fun experience now that I'm not out on the dance floor struggling through "syncopated steps". (whatever the hell those are)
